JRCC Restoration - Yakima, WA

JRCC responded quickly when I called about water flooding in the basement. They got right to getting it cleaned up, but as they continued on with setting up their equipment and cutting out walls they did not explain or give me a choice as to what I wanted. I had never had this happen to me before, and was stressed from what was happening so I was not really sure what to do, they just took over and did what they wanted….$$$$$. I feel like I was taken advantage of with all that was going on. This was an insurance claim, and they just kept harassing me for payment. When the insurance settled with them they told me I owed what the insurance did not pay. What!!!
The individuals that handle the paperwork made this entire experience 10x harder and stressful.
On top of everything I am going to have to hire an attorney to sort this mess out.
Just come in clean up the mess and don’t make an already stressful situation even more stressful.
I would not use JRCC, call someone else!

I called Lee Pagaduan to help with my frozen pipes. He came out and suggested we put insulation around the skirting and a pipe wrap. My Mom said yes to the estimate and Lucas and Ricky came out and got the job done very fast. My Mom was very impressed with how organized they were and how efficient they got the job done. We will recommend JRCC to our friends and family.

We would not recommend this company. Period. The only person that was worth anything was Manuel. He was the only one that responded to phone calls. The communication from anyone else was zero. We had to call to find out when they were coming to check on the drying out process.
They left a mess to clean up after the mitigation was completed. Their mitigation team damaged property and would not communicate with our insurance company to resolve the issue.
Unprofessional and dismissive, the restoration project manager refused to include the damage that happened as a result of their work and the estimate to the insurance was inaccurate and included charges for items they did not do.

I have extensive experience with self-inflicted renovations and repairs of aging infrastructure. In this episode, a slow leak in an interior wall that over time caused extensive damage and mold. I obtained three quotes and JRCC was literally just right on the scope of repairs desired and cost (one of the estimates recommended a full-scale move-out for two weeks remodel and quoted accordingly...that was an easy dismiss). The entire experience from inspection, communication, written agreements, estimated project duration, and completion, was smooth. This is the first time I've dealt with contractors I didn't have to pester to stay on schedule. JRCC's Lucas and Manuel responded to phone calls promptly, protected the traffic areas without being asked, cleaned up after themselves, and conducted the work like it was their own homes. Given this experience, they will be my go-to company for future projects.

Manuel and Fernando were professional and took extra special care of my house. They were on-time called every morning to give me the ETA. Very communicative throughout the whole process.

I had Donavan, Amy, and Miguel work on my floor mitigation after the refrigerator flooded the kitchen. They did an amazing job! On time, polite and professional.

Update…
Floor install currently underway. Everything looks amazing. Jeremy has been busy doing the detailed trim work and we are super pleased with how it looks. Jeremy clearly is an expert carpenter and takes pride in his work. Very professional.

Donavan and Cory were very helpful, knowledgeable and focused on their work to clean up after our washing machine drain hose went amuck and water damaged some flooring. They kept us informed about what would be happening and what our role was in preparation.

What can I say, except JRCC Out out of Yakima is Just the best to work with. The estimate for the repairs to my house was so detailed and was just the best ever. If you have a insurance claim call JRCC and ask for "the scope". Brian not only writes the best scopes in the industry, he manages the job from start to finish flawlessly, it's quite impressive to see him work. So many moving parts and he does it with ease. Truly our Hero.

They were wonderful to work with and made the process very easy after our home flooded. They took care of everything they could on their end, leaving what we needed to take care of simple!

We were always notified when visits would be made and updated consistently on the progress. Personable staff. We look forward to getting our kitchen put back together at last.

When our basement flooded, my wife and I were at a loss. The first thing we did was call our insurance agent who connected us with David at JRCC. David was extremely helpful and friendly, and was able to connect us with a field technician, Donovan, right away.

Donovan was an outstanding professional and was there when we needed him. He got the job done and was straightforward with us in our services we needed and what our options were. Would definitely recommend JRCC.

Had small water damage at my home and called these guys. Owner shows up and is one of the most rude and condescending people I've ever had to work with, telling me he knew how I wanted my home repaired because he is some sort of restoration instructor and disregarded all of my comments. Ended up having to hire another group to come in and put my home back together the way I wanted. I'd give them 0 stars if I could, DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I am not the kind of guy that picks the first, well, anything, that he sees. I like to do research and take my time to make sure I get what I want. A week ago, though, I didn't have that luxury. Our second floor washing machine leaked a large amount of water that started dripping from a light fixture on the first floor.

Desperate, I did something I never do. I picked the first business that showed up on Google. Boy, am I glad I did! JRCC has been great throughout the whole process. They were willing to come out immediately to assess the damage in the middle of the night, but after talking me through several details, decided it could wait until morning. First thing in the morning, they showed up with lots of people and equipment and got straight to work.

Everyone on the crew was professional, courteous, friendly, personable, and prompt. Phone calls were returned ASAP the few times they were unable to answer. Text messages were promptly replied to, even when I texted later in the evening. Questions were answered when appropriate, but they were willing to say when they weren't sure about something, or when I was asking something that wasn't in their area of expertise.

For 5 days, they came out every day to work on the house, or check the progress, despite it being a weekend. It would have probably been less time, but they were held back waiting for required tests over the weekend.

They also worked hand-in-hand with my insurance company to make sure I wasn't going to be surprised by anything.

All in all, I think it was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had with any kind of...anything.

Update: Repairs to our house were also completed by JRCC, and the experience was just as pleasant as the initial mitigation. The two gentlemen that did the repairs were very nice and a pleasure to have. Everything was done quickly, cleanly, and with as little disruption to our everyday lives as possible. If I ever have future emergencies, I know who I will go with!

JRCC did a great job on repair to our laundry room. They were polite, professional, and completed their work in a timely manner. I definitely recommend JRCC and would use them again (God willing, I will never have to...)

Anthony Tony and Chaz responded quickly and worked hard the whole time. They were amazing workers and we are so grateful for their service. We would gladly recommend them to anyone. Thank you!!!

Special thanks for Ben Justesen, Brian Lehman, Anthony J Freiberg and Tony, and to all the wonderful team of workers who had a part restoring my home after a recent water service line broke inside my home. Each step was explained to me fully, and followed through efficiently. The drying system was amazing..checking for moisture assured me all would be taken care of. My furnishing's were handled with care and placed into a storage Pod, and then returned into my home.
JRCC team members are extremely thoughtful, polite gentlemen, take pride in their work, and extremely hard workers, representing JRCC well to those they service. It was a honor to have JRCC restore my home. I will always be grateful for this amazing company. JRCC is the best if you have a crisis like I did.
