I used JR to replace an old roof. Seven years later, issues came to my attention. The work was still under warranty so the other roofing companies I contacted recommended I go back to JR to save money. I decided to go with a new roofing company for a number of reasons. I posted the information I received about my roof issues on Google.
JR called me twice about that Google post. One call was professional. One was not. They disagreed with the information from the others roofers and told me to take down the post. I took it down the same day.
Then, someone from JR came to my house at the same time the new company was starting to work on my roof. He complained that the workers did not speak English and criticized their materials. Then, he told me the ways he thought JR was a better company. This visit was unnecessary and upsetting. Why do that?
I am happy for the people who had good experiences with JR. If at all possible, get a referral from a neighbor or friend before choosing a roofer.
