Similar to a different post. We reached out to JPS and had someone come out to review what our goals are. We were promised a quote in a few weeks. That was 3 months ago. I have reached out on 2 different occasions and was told I would be contacted by someone as recent as 2 weeks ago and still have not heard back. Time for us to move on to someone who will be responsive. I would not recommend JPS based on their lack of communication.

Great experience. Great attention to detail from the top down. On budget and on time. Extremely cooperative and worked very well with the designer and architect facilitating any necessary changes to the original plans or scope of the project.

The JPS Construction does a great job maintaining our home. They manage repair and update projects and monitor our home when we are away. Their service is terrific, very reponsive, high quality and fair prices. They installed a stage 2 charger in our garage when we bought an electric car, installed a home generator and manage large and small projects equally well thanks to Sue and John.

Billy and his team were amazing to work with right from the start! My husband and I struggled to find a team dedicated to what was considered more of a face lift renovation and we couldn’t be happier with the process, the work, and the expertise that Billy and his team with JPS delivered for us.
Our kitchen went from an early 2000s dated design to our dream kitchen and the team ensured we were informed through every step of the process.

We had a unique and challenging situation from the start- wanting the old original character and charm (and quirks) of our home to smoothly flow into the new plan. The result is spot on and we love everything about the design. The team was so knowledgeable and incredibly patient with us during the process! They had lots of ideas and suggestions and listened to ours as well- always offering up sound advice. Could not more highly recommend them!!

I would hire JPS again and again. Building a new house can be an overwhelming and unpredictable experience, but not in my case. My house was completed on time and aside from unforeseen costs, under budget. The attention to detail - from plans, schedules, construction and finish work - was extraordinary. Every JPS employee who came to the job site was courteous and professional - and my project manager, Dominic, could not have done a better job. I highly recommend JPS for any project, big or small.

We hired JPS for the 3rd time for a few home improvement projects at out VRBO rental property in Bristol, RI. This included refinishing our hardwood floors, repainting the 2nd floor, and remodeling the 2nd floor bathroom (i.e., converting it from an underwhelming 1/2 bath to a beautiful, space-efficient full bath for our guests. The results were fantastic!

Many thanks to Andrew Fenster who was exceptional in managing our project. The work was completed on time (which is critical for a vacation rental business), and even under-budget! His communication, organization, and creative problem solving skills were greatly appreciated. We will definitely hire JPS with Andrew as the project lead many more times in the future!

JPS Construction and Design’s reputation for high quality craftsmanship is well deserved. This was our 3rd project using JPS and certainly the most extensive.

The 8 month project involved both exterior and interior renovations, the first floor taken down to studs. From the design phase through completion, the project could not have gone smoother.

Our project manager, Andrew was exceptional. He was truly a partner every step of the way, including working with us to insure we stayed within our budget. All throughout, keeping us on schedule.

JPS put an addition on, and pretty much rehabbed our entire 90 year old beach house. From planning stages to completion, we’ve been extremely happy and we absolutely love our new home. Jamie has assembled an amazing team – from Sue and her design team, to our project manager Julian and his team, we’ve been so impressed. Everyone listened, offered suggestions along the way, and worked with us to make sure they gave us what we wanted. We were afraid we’d lose the unique charm of the original house, and instead in the end, they enhanced it. The “old” is improved, and the “new” flows so well with the original, making it feel like the house was always just as it is now. We so appreciated everyone’s expertise and professionalism at JPS and we’ll definitely be calling them when we’re ready for that rooftop deck!

We contacted the company to review our remodeling project. Kevin Sawyer made onsite visit after two weeks from when we reached out to the company. His initial period of being non responsive was per his statement an oversight. We then waited for his coming to our home. At the time of his visit, we were told 4 weeks to receive an estimate. We waited, but nothing. We contacted Kevin by email and were told 1 more week. Nothing arrived. We reached out again. Told 1 more week. Nothing! We never did receive an estimate, phone call or email response.
We moved on to a responsive company.
