Great guys, excellent service with state-of-the-art equipment. Efficient and very competitively priced, this is the best arborist/tree company I have ever worked with in my 40+ years of construction. Excellent service and quick turnaround on the removal of 3 tall pines. Pretty remarkable to see it in action, especially given the location of the trees and narrow streets that make up the neighborhood (The Point in Newport). Their truck with the grapple hook/saw combo truly is the real deal! I’d venture to guess the work their team did in a few hours would have normally taken an entire day, if not much longer. Will absolutely be using CAM for any/all my future tree removal/maintenance needs!

Very pleased with services provided by CAM tree services. We had been calling several companies to come trim the trees by our driveway. After contacting them, we had an appointment scheduled within a week. They were very responsive, cleaned up after themselves and easy to work with. Will be calling them again for future projects.

CAM Tree Service is awesome! They removed a large maple in a tight corner of our yard in about 30 minutes with their high-tech equipment, in addition to trimming trees on our property. Mike and his team are very professional and knowledgeable in their field and easy to work with. They showed up ON TIME and cleaned up when they left. We would highly recommend their services.

The CAM Tree team exhibited a high level of professionalism and skill related to their craft. We had two significant sized trees in a very tight location relative to pedestrians and auto traffic that they were able to remove with no issue. Cam Tree Service worked in my neighbor's yard to take down an enormous tree that grew out and over 3 different properties. I was so impressed with how they carefully took the tree down with a gigantic claw that grabbed but then would saw the branch and take it down to the ground ever so gently. I was amazed!! They painstakingly dismantled this tree without even setting a foot in my yard even though this old tree was hanging into and over my yard and my new shed!! Just had Mike and his crew come out last week to deal with an old White Pine that lost much of its canopy and large limbs recently.

They were prompt in coming to see the damage and submitted a very fair quote for the work involved. A week or so later, they turned up and in what seemed like no time at all, the damage was cleared up and tree remains removed. They'll also be coming to completed the stump grinding as soon as weather improves.

They're a professional outfit, tidy, polite and eager to do the best possible. I'm very glad to have chosen CAM Tree Service and without hesitation will use their services again should the need arise.

CAM Tree Service took down a forty-foot tree right on our fence line. The fence was untouched and clean up was perfect.

Mike and his crew recently removed seven trees from my property, and pruned another four. This was a large job and meant the crew was onsite all day. Some trees had to be strategically felled to avoid my home and other trees, and Mike did an excellent job! I noticed the crew worked well together, with some hauling branches, others operating the chipper, and others clearing land with a Bobcat. Mike also works closely with a tree stump removal company that will be visiting my property soon. I highly recommend Mike and CAM Tree Service, and will be sure to use them for future needs.

I can't say enough about Mike and his crew- Matt and Conor. They did an amazing job taking down a 65 ft oak and they made it look easy! Thank you for being so consierate of my neighbor and cleaning up the entire area. I am so pleased!!!!!!!

Very responsive and Mike is a really great guy. The project wasn't easy, sadly my 100+ year old Copper Beech got the beech leaf disease. We did all that we could to save it over the last several years, but it didn't make it. I'd absolutely hire CAM again. Thanks!

We had a huge tree that hung over our house on top of our electrical wires that was super old and we were worried about it falling on our house and damaging the electrical wires, so we decided to have it removed. They gave us a great price and the owner Mike walked us through the process of how they were going to remove the tree without causing damage to my home. This was a worry of mine but he made me feel so comfortable that you would think it was his tree that needed to be removed and house. The crew was wonderful, they worked efficiently and respected my property. Clean up was amazing to the point that you wouldn't even think there was a massive tree once standing on the property. I highly recommended Mike and his team over at CAM Tree Service and will be working with them again in the near future.

I met Mike O'Brien by chance yesterday when I saw his Cam Tree Service bucket truck with a 60-foot articulating boom, and his crane, across the street. For the past week I had been looking for a safe way for my roofer to repair a small, but important, flashing problem 45 feet up on a steep slate roof. Suddenly, a possible solution materialized. With a brief introduction and an open mind, Mike, with his specialized lifts and exceptional crew, along with David Oliveira, President of J.M. Cooper coppersmiths (who rode the lift and made the repair), had the problem solved by noon at a very fair price. So, if you have any unusual high work needs, like a finial on a tower, or lightning arrestors, or loose slates on a steep roof, consider this team - they solved a very challenging problem in record time...

CAM Tree Service is the best tree company on Aquidneck Island. Mike and his team are courteous, timely, knowledgeable and efficient. I can’t say enough good things about Mike and his crew. I had a dead elm tree that had become dangerous (randomly falling limbs). I called Mike and he came right over and set a date to come remove the tree. They came right on time on one of the hottest days of the year with the most amazing equipment. It was fascinating to watch them cut down this huge tree. They were extremely professional and the cleanup was exceptional. The cost of removal was very reasonable. I highly recommend CAM Tree and would definitely use their services again.

Mike was at a neighbors house I asked him for an estimate to take a tree down along the fence where he was working, he said he could do it from where he was set up with his machine, he reached over and took it down in less than a half hour amazing equipment and he is very professional. He also had someone grind the stump later the same day awesome service

A great team and a quality job. They not only took down four large trees near my neighbor’s home on our property line with perfection, they took a lot of time cleaning up the property when they finished, leaving it better than they found it. This tree company is the best I have ever worked with and I strongly recommend them!!

Mike and Matt were awesome to work with. Complete professionals. I would trust any of my trees to their care. They did amazing work and had very fair prices. And if you haven't seen their crazy remote controlled robotic arm grabbing chainsaw machine... man, watching it is almost worth the cost of having your trees trimmed! Ok... that might be a bit of an exaggeration. But seriously, it's pretty awesome.

I had a tree bordering a neighbor that was rotted through the center and also reached over the power lines going onto their property - so I was fearful that a strong wind could topple it and take out their power and also fearful that it might be dangerous to anyone attempting to remove it.
CAM Tree to the rescue! With their skillfully operated, high-tech equipment, they reached up and dismantled it piece by piece, limb by limb and hauled it off without endangering anyone. Thanks guys!

Unfortunately, when I recently (Aug 2024) asked them to quote another job, an appointment was made and never kept by them. I took the day off from work to meet them in-person and they were a no-show. A follow-up call was made and still nobody ever responded. Not the way to do business in a small community.

CAM Tree Service did excellent work in removing a tree (partially downed from Storm Henri) in my yard. My initial call for service was returned promptly with quote soon thereafter and removal the following day as promised. Super job with cleanup after removal. I would highly recommend!

Had tree damage from Hurricane Henri the morning of the storm. I called for help with removal. The owner came promptly for a quote on the day of the storm. He was at my home first thing the day after the storm to remove the tree. Very pleased with the attention and service. Thanks Mike!

First of all they showed up with a machine like I’ve never seen in my life . Come to find out he’s got the only one in Rhode Island. They showed up in a team of three and it looks like they were never there. It was like a tree Orchestra. C.A.M had the impressive ability to professionally take down our huge Oak Trees, organize stump removal and then coordinate hydro seed options to make it look like the trees were never there. As a bonus, during Christmas time, Mike and his bucket truck put up over 500 feet of lights onto one big evergreen tree; it’s a memory my family and I will never forget. ( I recommend the plastic LED lights;)
