If I could give 0 stars I would. At first I thought he was great. He was late the first time but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He did the work and then left. He had installed external doors for me. ….Until I realized some of the pieces of the threshold were just placed and not sealed. During his visits, he had admitted to injuring his back and “being out of it because of the pain killers he was on”. Again, I had given him the benefit of the doubt. I asked to him to come and fix it and he said he would. He never came. I messaged him multiple times and then he finally responded saying he didn’t warranty. He “doesn’t care what he said” and isn’t coming to fix it. He marketed that he supported veterans and the elderly. Clearly that isn’t the case. I am a veteran that was renovating the home for my elderly mother. What he did is now a safety hazard. Do not support this company.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS I would Give no stars if I could. Please do some digging on yelp and BBB. I have to wonder how many of these good reviews are accurate after my experience. *** He has not tried to remedy the situation or come to an agreement at all He’s been nothing but hostile and nasty to me. My mom and my attorney. Cursing out an attorney is not coming to an agreement*** A tragedy occurred in my home which resulted in repairs needing to be done. Josh brooks was hired to replace my front door as well as the flooring in my living room. He submitted an estimate to my homeowner’s insurance, who approved the amount of $4950. He received and cashed a check for this amount. I had been staying elsewhere until the work was completed. Once I was able to go home and inspect the work done, I reached out via text and explained concerns I had with the work done on the front door. He installed the wrong sized door for my wall, the workmanship is absolutely unacceptable and he left about 1 inch gaps between the frame of the door and the siding of my house leaving it open to moisture which will cause expensive damage. As far as the flooring it was not installed correctly and the job was not done completely, there is no trim around the cabinets, no underlayment, and he didn’t remove the kick boards under the cabinets, if I have to replace my dishwasher ever I will have to pull up the flooring. I have had two reputable contractors come to my house and inspect the work done and they have both agreed that the workmanship is incomplete and unacceptable. When I addressed these concerns he ignored them, then the next day proceeded to demand more money and threaten to sue me. He also put me and my mom on blast on Facebook saying we are scammers and didn’t pay him. He is saying I owe him more money and if I want the door redone I have to pay and additional $1500. I received two quotes from other companies one for the door ($1200) and for the floors ($5200, this is also for much higher quality flooring than the $1.50 a square foot flooring he installed.) He also left piles of trash and debris in my yard and garage. Josh was well aware of the reason he was hired and took advantage of a single mom facing a tragic event. I am truly disgusted by the lack of integrity and professionalism displayed by Josh Brooks.
