Joseph's Maintenance

Joey is amazing there hasn’t been one project that we needed help on that he hasn’t far surpassed all of our expectations. He has helped us so much over the years. We have moved down south, and we’re still searching for a local handyman in our area that could even come close to the excellent Joeys strives for. Highly recommend him for any of the projects you need help with, everything from installing a light switch I totally remodeled the bathroom, you won’t be disappointed.

Had major draft in two exterior doors from a poor build. He was able to close gaps in both doors in timely manner , thankfully because we are expecting freezing temperatures. House is significantly warmer thanks to this repair. Very polite, very professional.

Poor workmanship/service: Joseph charges me $1440 to basically paint two small room, ceiling, side of stairway, install vinyl flooring on one room and sand/stain another floor, put locks/paint front doors. Well, the vinyl floor was not put correctly, floor is bubble all over the place. You could feel the bubble when you walk on the floor. The floor was not sand down, because drop of paint was on the floor (he just pours the stain then add polyurethane on top of it without cleaning/sand it). The ceiling had a stain on it which can still be seen after he painted the ceiling.

the work he did for us was very poor to the point that we have to paint the ceiling and wall over again, sand the floor and re-stain the floor again because the work was done poorly. We are not sure what to do with the bubble vinyl floor because it will cost us a lot to rip it out and put down again. Joseph stated that he would do the work in 3 days but took three plus weeks to get it done and was done very poorly. We wasted $1400.

We hope that joseph not only keep up with the timing of his contract but not to fib and to take his time to do adequate, clean, proper work for the money he is charging the customer.
