Jon Wright Industries

Jon Wright Industries completed a partial roof replacement for me many years ago after a small tree fell onto my roof. At the time, Jon worked with my insurance company and he did a great job for me with the partial roof replacement.
In 2020, a very large tree fell onto my roof. I again called on Jon Wright Industries, but this time I worked with Rafael Morales, Project Manager. Rafa and Jon Wright Industries did a fabulous job for me, replacing framing to the engineer’s specifications, decking, exterior siding, painting, gutters and the entire roof. Rafa worked very well with my insurance company and with me. He was always dependable, thorough in his responses to my questions, easy to work with and exhibited a sense of urgency so that I could get my home back to a normal condition. For both times that I worked with Jon Wright Industries, I felt that the company’s prices were very reasonable and fair. Since the completion of my job in November 2020, I’ve needed a couple of minor repairs in 2021, which Jon Wright Industries took care of quickly and to my total satisfaction. I can highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again, if needed.

Our roof was replaced by Jon Wright Ind. six years ago after a hail storm damaged our original roof. A roof is one of those things you just need it to work. We ended up getting four quotes but went with Jon Wright because of the professionalism of Jesse S. and the way we gave us fair quotes on what was good, better, best.

When the crew came over to install the roof, they were like a team of army ants, all working in concert to get the roof installed in one day. It was cool to watch. What was really impressive is how clean the yard was when they finished. I'm one of those "Hank Hill" type of yard keepers and didn't find a single nail or piece of shingle in the yard. Impressive.

We selected a couple of options to pretty the roof up a little as well as took the option to put the rubber-ish sheets in the roof valleys. It just made sense. We ended up getting a 25-year warranty against leaking because of all of the options we picked which as an added bonus. Jon Wright himself came out to inspect the roof which I thought was pretty cool. Good fella who cares about the work.

We've had a share of storms over the past six years and I sit on the couch like cozy cat wearing a sneaky grin because I know our roof is not going to leak. And it hasn't. My wife said she's glad we took the extra options and have the leak warranty. We've never had a problem.

We recently received a postcard from Jon Wright Ind. checking in on us and to see if they could do an inspection. Rafael M. came over exactly on time and took care of the inspection. He texted pictures and made the whole process as easy as pie. Great guy whose been in roofing his whole life. He said he's dad was on the crew who hung our roof...pretty cool.

Like I said earlier, a roof just needs to work. It's like so many other things in life, I just don't want to think about it...it just needs to work. I feel like my decision to got with Jon Wright Ind. has made life easier as far as keeping the "roof over my head" solid. If we every get another house, there's no reason I'd go with anyone other than Jon Wright. We are really happy with the quality of their work, the product, customer service, and follow-up.

I almost forget about how nice the office staff is at Jon Wright. Great gals who always pick-up the phone and are extremely nice. It's so rare to deal with a business who just cares. My only problem with Jon Wright is that I wish he sold car insurance, TV cable, and cell phone service. I'm thankful I went with them.

Ken Dunn was my Project Manager for my roof installation. He was so knowledgeable and respectful. He came to my house several times and always arrived on time. My work was done during the pandemic and he always wore a mask, which I greatly appreciated. He always made sure that I knew what was going on and had great follow through. I think that the workmanship was superb too. He was onsite for the entire project. i have never been in a situation where the sales person and leader of the crew were there for the entire project. I was so very pleased. Thanks for such a great experience .I would highly recommend Jon Wright industries, especially if the Project Manager is Ken Dunn. Request him. You will not be disappointed! I highly recommend working with Rafael and his team, I literally spoke to Wednesday night about doing some repairs on my roof. He had one of his guys the next day at 10 AM working on my roof. 100% recommended to anybody that’s trying to get some work done in the house.

Rafa was friendly and professional when he came to my home for a roof inspection and eventually a roof repair. It rained shortly after and no leaks, so I am very happy with the end result.

Best roofing group ever! Rafa and his team did an amazing job and worked very fast and very well. They went above and beyond by even cleaning up my gutters. 10/10 would definitely recommend! Rafa was also very communicative, profesional and friendly!

Rafael Morales was professional and responsive in quickly setting up a repair time. Jose did an excellent, timely job and was good to explain his plans and the final project.

I appreciated David's conscientiousness and explaining each step of the work he did on my bay window trim and siding. He is an excellent craftsman, efficient and personable. Mr Wright followed up with a phone call to ask my opinion of the work. I told him I highly recommend his company and will share his name with my neighbors. It all adds up to a company who cares about people - both staff and customers - and high quality work.

Jon Wright ands crew are top notch. They replaced my mother-in laws roof 5 years ago and I still follow up as I will today to have them check her roof for roof damage. Roofing biz is filled with sketchy folks but I am happy to report that Jon Wright has deep integrity and pride in his work. His follow up is consistent and his crews and office staff are top notch

Come on buddy. Grow up. When an 18 wheeler cuts across 3 lanes of traffic.... well things slow down buddy. We never left the lane we were in. To be frank we had no idea why your were even up set. Waving ur hands causing a seen when you know there is kids in a car is absolutely in excusable. Your a business owner buddy, your a responsible adult, and I’m sure your a father.
Now I’m sure you were just having a bad day but attacking a women on line is just more immaturity. If you would like us to send the videos of us trying to get you stop tailgating us for 20 min to your lawyer I certainly will. Hell I have the video of you waving to pull over.
I happen to be a 14 year competition fighter.... some “old has been” is just not worth putting my kids in harms way. Along with my record.
So let’s sum this up for ya buddy. You got the ticket and I will be following up to push any and all charges.
It’s with a heavy heart to leave a review like this, but a man, a husband, and a father that can put another family with kids in harms way following it up with an attack on a woman on line is just inexcusable.

*** You have got to be kidding me buddy! I’m not sure what picture your trying to paint here. You got out of YOUR truck on the freeway and you call me a hot head?! I idled past you to defuse the situation, you followed me for 20 minutes flipping us off the entire time, I switched lanes in every direction just to have u change lanes and tail gate me no matter what lane I went into. I have video and pics of the encounter for everyone to see if you would like.
Scared?! My other half was reminding me of what exposure I would have for knocking the hell out of an irritating old man not to mention you being the prime example of the road raging guy who shoots some one. Scared.... that’s a good one.***

You know, a simple “I had a bad day and this really isn’t the person I am” with an “i’m sorry“ would have had the 2 reviews taken down and the charges dropped. We all have bad days sir and I truly understand that.

Following a strong hailstorm in early 2018 I was in need of repairs. David Votava with Jon Wright was very helpful with fully explaining my options and the benefits of each while not pressuring me to make any choice.

I was traveling during part of the repair process but David always kept me up to date over email including pictures of the process.

The finished work looks great and definitely helps provide a fresh look to the house.

While I certainly hope to not suffer any hail damage again, should the need arise I will definite contact David and John Wright Industries again.

Our home received damage from the hailstorm on 6/5/2018. The next day, we were inundated with contractors that were pushy, fast-talking and extremely confusing. I decided to call Jon Wright Industries because they replaced the roof for the previous owners seven years ago. I ended up speaking to Scott Craig (Project Manager) who incidentally, was the same person that worked with the previous owners. To me, this says a lot for the company and the individual. This was my first time dealing with a hailstorm/roof damage situation, and it was overwhelming. Scott was extremely knowledgeable, professional with a relaxed demeanor that made me feel comfortable with the decisions I had to make. He patiently and thoroughly walked me through the process of repairs, the materials used and the benefits of each. He made this process less stressful for me.
The men who did the repairs on the roof were outstanding. They worked on our roof when it was 109 degrees, and they did a great job. When they finished, they left the property looking as though they had never been there. My entire experience with this company has been exceptional. I will be calling Jon Wright Industries for all my roofing needs for this house or any house that we may own in the future. I recommend that you do the same.

Jon Wright Industries recently did roof repairs on my home. The workers were courteous and hard working. They did a good job. I would recommend them to anyone needing a roof, siding, or windows.

I've had to hire many contractors in the past that were a pain to work with and second rate at best, but with Jon wright I finally had some peace of mind. They explained the entire process, even worked with my insurance company for me so I didn't pay a dime of my money. They did my roof, gutters, fixed 2 busted windows and redid my fence. One company that can do everything. I would definitely recommend these guys.

I've known Jon Wright for years.
He's put 3 roofs on my home in Irving & 3 or 4 roofs on for friends.
We have all been VERY pleased!!!
He's very dependable, prompt, shows up when he says, keeps a very clean job site & FOLLOWS UP after the work has been paid for!!!!
He's also about the most knowledgeable roofer that I know on ridge cap venting & radiant barrier.
His prices have always been competitive & he works well with the insurance companies (in my case it's Allstate).
Hoping I do not need a new roof anytime soon but if I do I'll call Jon Wright.
I do commercial real estate property management for a living so I know what a good contractor looks like & how he handles his business.

My experience was excellent, well as excellent as a roofing repair can be.

My husband insisted on having a porticache built over our patio (which now I love of course), and the original contractor (NOT JWR) did a fairly good job for what we were paying. They tied the porticache into our existing roof and of course it leaked. They came out and tried to fix the leak, but they could not get it to stop leaking.

We called Jon Wright Roofing because (1) he is an Irving Roofing Contractor that I knew I would be able to get a hold of in the event of a problem. And (2), My husband stumbled across Jon's blog and read up on what he knows about roofing, which is to say a lot.

The experience was painless. I wasn't even home when they did the repair. They said it would be completed on such-and-such date. My husband called that evening to follow up, and they said it was completed. So of course, my husband had to pull the hose out and test their repair. NO LEAK.
