These guys were professional, quick and most importantly- when concerns came up later on, they were on top of it!!!
Seriously- came back 9 months later and fixed a concern within 3 days!!!
I can 100% recommend this company and tell you that their pricing was fair, the work was excellent, and the follow up has been outstanding!

Roof was leaking around the chimney and John was able to come out and get it fixed the next day. He was friendly and services were reasonably priced. I highly recommend him for any roofing needs.

John is easy to talk with and actually cares what your problem is. Definitely my go to guy in the future. His prices are very reasonable. In fact he came in less than half price of other quotes

I am extremely pleased with John's customer service and his work. John came out and gave me an estimate the same day I called him and completely explained all that needed to be done in a manner that I was able to understand. He was able to get me on the calendar immediately. While at work I received constant updates of the work being done.

I've had an ongoing issue with shingles falling off my roof for 2 years. After battling with the previous roofing company, I called John. Within hours he was at my house and had fixed my roof. He provided expert knowledge and service. Highly recommend.

John and one other person came to repair some damage to my roof from a fallen tree limb. The subsequent repair looks like a 8 year old did the “patch” job. The workmanship is just lousy to say it. I will not recommend this person and his service to anyone. Please find someone else!!!

John and company were great to work with. Straight up. Our house had a cracked sunlight and the wood was rotted around the base causing water damage inside the ceiling. Called John, he called back that day. Scheduled a time for an estimate and then subsequent repairs at a honest price that allowed me to sleep at night. Excellent and efficient work with fantastic clean up. I will definitely use his skills and services in the future.

I hghly recommend John and his team. I called up for roof repair and he showed up the next day to fix it. Very reliable and easy to talk to. He responds right away and gives you all the information and answers all questions. He even gave me a one year warranty that if there’s any problem after the repair just call him and he will take a look at it right away. 100% recommended. Thank you again John and team.

Less than 30 minutes after calling Mr. John he was at my home and repaired my roof, chaulked a leaking window. Outstanding job, and a nice person.

They were able to come out and fix my repair the same day I called. They were kind and professional and got the job done for a fair price. I would be happy to work with them again.

John Briggs showed within 2 hours inspected the problem and completed repairs with one hour. He also pointed out several flaws in my 30 year old roof and after a discussion we agreed to a full roof replacement at a very fair price. Extremely satisfied with the outcome.

John was able to come out and make a roof repair the same day I called. John's crew did an excellent job replacing the roof on our detached garage. They came early and worked hard in July heat. The job was done quickly and professionally for a very competitive price. Would definitely recommend them.

Called John with some roof damage from the latest round of bad storms to hit the Tidewater area and he responded very quickly. He was able to come see my roof that same day and then was able to repair my roof within a hour or two. Overall it was a good experience and he did a great job. Will be contacting him again when I am ready for that full roof replacement. Thanks John.

We had a small roof leak and reached out to John’s roofing. Boy, are we glad we did. He got right on it! We were lucky that he was nearby and we received same day service. He was very prompt, knowledgeable, professional, straightforward and honest. His pricing was great! He fixed our problem in a jiffy and gave us peace of mind. I called John at 11:00 am in the morning to see if he could evaluate a leak in the roof of my 97 year old mother's house. He happened to be working close by and by 12:45 that same day her roof leak had been repaired! What a relief!! Thank you so much for your prompt and professional service. Highly recommend!

Very responsive. I called in the evening and he came out the next day. I truly appreciate that he came when he said and worked around my schedule. He evaluated my roof/ceiling very thoroughly. He thought nothing was needed, as it may just be a freak accident after some super heavy rain, but to keep an eye on it - no reason to tear up my roof and ceiling if there’s not an issue. I appreciated the candor and will definitely call him if I have any future problems/issues.

Called Mr. John on Monday for a quote for repair of a soft spot on our roof. He got back to me within 2 hours with a quote that was reasonably price for fixing that and 2 other vent plumbing flashing. He was back on Wednesday to fix everything. Very professional, and response was excellent. Highly recommend. We will use him again for any future work.

After seeking several estimates on a new roof, I was reminded I have a friend who is a retired roofer. I asked him for an opinion about the mixed responses I was getting from various contractors. I didn't want to make mistakes like those made 11 years ago when a new roof was put on my house. My friend told me to call John. I did. John was patient with all of my questions and explained his answers in a clear way I could understand. His estimate was competitive and his warranty is good. Yesterday, John and his team arrived on time and did a great job repairing issues and replacing my worn out roof. I have confidence in the answers John gave to all of my questions. The new roof is beautiful and I will no longer cringe when the weather forecast says rain.

Quick and easy to schedule. Did the work earlier than promised and completed it for the quoted price. Once we called John, we didn't have to think about it again - he just took care of it.

Needed a roofing professional to redo a strip of flashing underneath a newly enlarged window and John's Roofing and Home Improvement responded and took care of me immediately. While i wasn't quite sure what to expect from a cost standpoint, i feel like their price was pretty fair considering the amount and quality of work they did - but mainly i needed that job done ASAP to mitigate risk for water damage and they were here within an hour of initial contact which is literally unheard of in today's service climate. They were prompt, fast, fair, and professional and i really dont have anything to complain about. Will definitely call them again for future jobs.

They were great came to my house next day after phone call and demonstrated exactly the work he planned to perform

Mr Briggs was right on time and did a great job of repairing my gutter and reattaching trim to the house.

Came same day that service was needed. Roof vent cap was loose and the wind would have caused it to come off, allowing water into the attic. Vent had been making noise in the past. John fixed the cap and also elimated the noise.
First class service on a 94 degree afternoon.
I would absolutely recommend John's for home repair work.

John and Curly were friendly, polite, on time. They did the work as quoted and cleaned everything up. They kept me informed from 1st visit to finish. They also did a roof replacement for my son who was very pleased. I will use them for my roof replacement in the future. Well it’s 10 months later and John and his crew came back and replaced my roof and did a great job. I would highly recommend for repairs or full roof replacement.

The best roofing contractor in town. John has done my installs and repairs for 8 years. He has always done what he says and at competitive prices. In 8 years, I have not had one issue with his work.

I ran a roofing business on Norfolk for over 30 yrs. and John was one of my best sub-contractors. His work was first class and we never had any complaints from any customers. He did work for me for approximately 15 yrs. and was always very prompt and completed the work on time or ahead of schedule.He also maintained his own liability insurance which is important in the roofing business. I would highly recommend him for any type of roofing work for a top quality job at a reasonable price.

Called to ask for an estimate, was told he could be there in 1.5 hours. Sounded great, until I tried to reach him 2 hours later with no answer or response. Never showed up, never answered his phone again, never called back. Wasted my afternoon waiting, thanks for your professionalism.
