I had a tremendous experience with JNR Roofing today out in Memphis, Michigan. After having a horrible experience with the previous company on a new roof and horrible flashing job around the chimney, JNR roofing came to my rescue and did a fabulous job. Nick was awesome to deal with on the phone and understood my situation and John came out and did an excellent job putting new flashing and shingles around the chimney. Everything is now done properly and dealing with them has been great. I highly recommend them.

Working with JNR for our roof was an amazing experience. From start to finish Nick answered all of my questions and got the job done with a great turn around. I would highly recommend JNR roofing to friends and family.

JNR Roofing just replaced my roof and I’m extremely happy with my experience. They are the epitome of a local business, with “I know a guy” prices. I got quotes from 5 different companies for the same identical job, JNR was $2,000 cheaper than anyone else yet had the same top notch quality as the far more expensive corporate guys.

They stayed in communication with me every step of the way so I knew what to expect and when. They cleaned up after themselves so well that my drive way was cleaner when they left vs when they arrived.

Had my house and garage roof done and from start to finish very professional and followed threw with everything they said they would..highly recommend!

TLDR: Had to be chased to pull the permit. Cut my screen, did not fix sag in roof on initial installation, and left a roof leak for 9 months. Repeatedly no-called, no-showed and tried to gaslight me about what was happening at my own home. Very much a do not recommend.

The true mark of a contractor is what they do when things go wrong. And, in my case, JNR failed completely. Last August, they installed my roof. They left two sags behind in the main roof. While these were eventually fixed, it only happened after at least three no-call, no shows. One of them also sliced my brand new window screens. Then, two appointments to "assess" the situation. But that's just problem one.

My back porch also sprung a leak. Fixing that took from August of 2024 until May of 2025. During that time, there were 9 no-call, no-shows. Attempts to tell me that my porch WASN'T leaking when it was still damp. I had also sent a video. Other gaslighting efforts as well. Trying to tell me an employee showed up on a certain day, when I know he did not. Partially because he showed up to do that supposed task three days later. Then, a variety of other promises were made and then broken.

That he would cover up the underside of the roof to make it look better. Measurements were taken and orders supposedly placed. That never showed up. After that, he claimed it was too cold. Then, he finally made an appointment to fix the leak. The first time? No one showed up. No texts were sent. Only after I reached out was I told it wouldn't be happening. Apparently their supplier didn't have the parts in stock.

Eventually, the back roof was repaired. It just took nine months and far more of my sanity than necessary. The kicker? They cracked the main frame when they were fixing it. So, now I have to figure out how to deal with that.

I called JNR roofing with a unique roof problem. Nick the owner went over and looked at the situation and gave a very honest opinion on a problem that isn't really repairable. With that said he has gone out of his way to help find even a short term fix during a particularly hard time for a family member. In today's day it's refreshing to have an upfront and completely honest business relationship. Thanks Nick!!

I had a tree fall on my roof called J and R to give me an estimate he was out the next day to get things started was able to get the estimate to insurance fast and his crew was out to fix it as soon as the tree was removed. Also they are giving me an estimate to fix my Florida room roof. Best people I've dealt with for construction.

Great experience with JNR Roofing! I had some shingles on the leak of my roof blow off from a previous storm. Nick called me promptly to schedule a repair and Christian came out two days later (on a Sunday) and was quickly able to complete the repair. Food looks great! Fast, friendly, quality service!

JNR Roofing is the absolute best choice I could have made to get my roof replaced - I did my due diligence and got four different quotes, JNR Roofing wasn't the cheapest but by no means the most expensive ($10K difference). As promised, Nick and his crew arrived when they said they would and got right to work and if it hadn't of been for an unexpected, excessive amount of rotted roof sheathing that they needed to replace, they would have been done within a single day but as it was, they only need an additional 4 hours the next day to complete the job. I was very impressed with the professionalism of their entire crew and the quality of the work they did - they even had someone continually cleaning up the yard while work was going on! I would definitely recommend JNR Roofing to all of my friends and family!!

These folks came through when I needed it most – very pleasant to deal with, had my best interests at heart, and delivered quality work. They came to assist after a roof leak realized after a heavy rainstorm. A few weeks later after the work was completed, another heavy rainstorm came through and no leak whatsoever. This is been a challenge with my house for a long time, and now I can rest much easier. Can't recommend them anymore highly!

**Update** I was so pleased with JNR that I recently contracted them to replace my roof because it was time. Not only were they professional and courteous, Nick provided me a fantastic recommendation on the colors for the roof and gutters. It really made all the difference. And they reached out to B's Gs Gutters to handle that end of it – also superb work and service. With some bad contractor experiences, I'm so glad I met this team and that they delivered big time. Couldn't be happier!

How refreshing to have a contractor that will take the time to explore options that will fix your issue and remain in an affordable price range. My roof was leaking stemming from a skylight, unfortunately the skylight I had was no longer available, Tim made some calls and was able to find one that would work without having to get a custom made one. Tim did everything he could to keep the cost down, which I really appreciated, like I said earlier it's refreshing to have a company that will go the extra mile for you. Tim and Nick came out the following day and had it in in no time at all, Tim even took pictures of before and after for me without me having to ask for them. If you want a company that does high quality work at reasonable rates JNR Roofing is the one, I highly recommend them .

Company came out same day to look at my roof problem and was able to find the issue right away. They were to come fix it the next week but due to rains predicted over the weekend, I’d called and asked if they could come sooner. They came that very night! I was very pleased with the timely manner and work performed. Would definitely use them again

My shingles blew off my roof after a bad storm and Nick and his crew were able to take care of my roof immediately!

We needed shingle repairs from a storm and there was more storms coming but JNR was extremely quick about getting to our house and completing the necessary repairs. They also were reasonably priced and they beat out other offers by half the price. The roofer was very kind and knowledgable.

JNN removed two layers of the old shingles and installed new dimensional ones on our house. Did all the tasks stated in the contract. It took a crew of 4 only 4 hours to complete the job. Layed down tarp all around the house covering the grass, shrubs and plants to protect from debris.
The crew picked up all the waste by hand and magnets and blower-cleaned small particles.
Price was very reasonable for job well done professionally. We are satisfied and would definitely recommend JNR to all.

They came out charge me $700.00 to supposedly fix a hole in my soffits that birds were going in. 4 hours later the birds had not only got in the soffit again but got in my wall. I called the owner and told him, he said they were going to come back out in a few days to fix it and they never did. He also asked me if I would write him a good review because he said he had been slacking. I would write him a good review if I had something good to write about.
