They did an excellent job. They were respectful of my property. Cleaned up everything and all done in one day. I didn’t even notice but there was a bad batch on the color of the shingles and Joe had his crew come out and fixed it immediately. I highly recommend if you want a job well done! I’m so glad that I picked Second To None roofing. The owner Joe came out twice to the job site to make sure everything was going well. He even got up on the roof one day and saw something he didn’t like and made sure the crew took care of it. The crew was on time every day and they cleaned up when they were all done. Joe went above and beyond helping me with my insurance and with his help, I was able to get more covered than the insurance company originally stated. I highly recommend Second To None.

Updated later...Quoted for sealing repairs but should have included replacing chimney flashing to really fix leaks right. Misalignment between estimator and actual roofer repairer creates loss of value for client.

Edit: I received another update and they fixed the flashing on the chimney so I updated the review to reflect great service. Also appreciated the quality focus of the actual roofing repairman. Given the additional service I will keep them in mind when the new roof is needed.

Jason and his crew did a good job installing siding on our house. Even though there were some extra challenges, Jason worked thru the issues and was always available to answer any questions. He followed the job all the way to completion.
He was very easy to work with.

Came out on thanksgiving promptly to give estimate and even began Christmas light installation that day. My wife was in hospital for to weeks and that’s all she was looking forward too.

Jason did a fantastic job on repairing a rotten board and working with our existing aluminum soffits. We also had ventilation installed since there was none in our attic. The price was very fair and the work was done in one day. Definitely recommend these guys for any roofing needs!

Jason came out, was very professional and polite. He started on our damaged roof immediately he worked through, pouring rain to get it covered in time for the big store. Mark, Joe and Jason all gave great customer service while replacing my roof. My initial reach out was just for a generic quote, however when they came to check it out, they found hail damage and worked with my insurance to get a replacement roof covered by my insurance company. The guys came out and did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves!

Excellent work and service! Mark, the manager, came out and gave us a quote for a complete roof replacement. He was really nice and very knowledgeable and not pushy. After getting other quotes, we decided to go with Second to None and are extremely happy we did! The team did an excellent job, from tear down to completeness! They were quick, efficient, and courteous and the new roof looks great! They had someone come out for a final inspection before asking for final payment. This company stands behind their work and I would highly recommend them for any roofing needs!

Easy to get this outfit in for a quote and to troubleshoot and repair short of a new roof. Some roofers are only interested in tear-offs/rebuilds and not willing to diagnose and heal smaller repairs. Second to None will do both. They are realistic in the quote-forming process. Jason came and installed baffles in my attic and pointed out quite a bit. He was polite, efficient, and a great communicator. I'd recommend Second to None to any Oakland County homeowner looking for the straight talk. Quite pleased.

I had a new roof completed a few months ago and the quality, responsiveness and professionalism of this company is fantastic compared to some others that I had received estimates from. I first spoke with Amanda in the office, who was extremely helpful and made me feel confident in the company, if I chose to use them. Everything from start to finish was smooth and well done. Joe and Second to None did an amazing job. Our roof was bad and they got it done in 1 day. Replaced all the decking, fixed the holes around the pipes and fixed some worn down fascia. Would recommend Second to None to everyone.

Joe came out to our house and we had concerns about an area of flashing and staining on our roof. He gave us an honest opinion of what was needed and while the opinion did not allow us to work with second to none roofing, we did truly appreciate his time and honesty. Will definitely refer them to others in need of anything roof related and keep them in mind when we do need roofing experts.

Jason and Joe are pros! I had a leak and they were the 2nd company I had to have out. They also assured me if the leak continues, they will come back out to fix it without charging me. Great experience, will for sure hit them up for roof needs in the future!

Joe and his crew are nothing but professional. We just moved in to our new house and found a leak from the room and called Joe. Joe was able to come out and give us a quote the next day for our roof and gutters and explained the process and product with us. He was very reasonable and worked with us.

Roof was installed the same weekend and gutters two days later. His crew was on time and worked hard all day to ensure our roof is finished before the upcoming rain the next day. After needing immediate attention due to roof leaking into attic, I called Second To None Roofing. Spoke to Jason & he came out asap. He quickly knew the solution. He quoted the project & we set a day for repair. Jason is a pro. Clearly one of the best. Came out even earlier than expected. He removed & repaired pipe boot flashings & needed shingles to complete the job. Jason is very courteous & professional. Do yourself a favor & ask for Jason.

I called Second To None and the next day Christopher came out for a free estimate. In just two weeks, the roof was installed and completed in one day. Highly recommend.

I called these guys because I had a bad leak in my roof above the furnace. I was getting a new furnace installed and it was raining. The guy I talked to on the phone, assured me that they would get there to look at it asap. Jason came out and gave me a reasonable quote and said he would get to it whenever it stopped raining. A couple days later, Jason showed up, in the rain, and got it done for me. It rained the next 2 days and no leaks..thanks Jason. Job well done... I highly recommend these guys.

Updated Review:

Had damaged shingles as a result of storm damage. Joe was very responsive to our initial inquiry for repair. However, PRO-TIP: always request and make sure you receive pictures of any repair jobs that aren't immediately visible (e.g. roof) BEFORE paying.

The guy who came out and did the repair told us they'd send pictures of the repair over to us via email once they got back to the office. We didn't see those pictures of the actual " repair" until we got pictures back from the insurance adjuster who came out weeks later, and while we`# requested and paid $500 for a Tarp on the damaged section, what we got was a strip of tarp tape on a small section with the damaged shingles nailed back.

As a result our insurance adjuster who came to assess the damage later, perceived we didn't do our due care to properly tarp up the roof to prevent further damage while waiting for the appointment, which proceeded to cause us undue stress and back-and-forth with insurance trying to get our claim approved.

I hesitate to say we were scammed, because they did do some amount of work, but the standard and quality vs. What we expected and paid for was not there, and the fact that we never got pictures of the repairs sent to us is why I'm revising this review.

The one credit I'll give was that they did come out to try and advocate for us during the actual appointment with the adjuster, but all in all hindsight 20/20 we were not happy with the quality of the repair we paid for and the downstream results.

I contacted Joe and Second to None Roofing when I had urgent repairs needed on my roof. Joe responded quickly and came out the very next day to check out the situation. He helped guide me through what we needed and got the job done in a short time, even right before a holiday. Would highly recommend Second to None Roofing!

These guys give you the straight up evaluation of your roof, with pictures, and explain everything.

My roof was installed by a contractor for a Major Window Company, I don't know if I can say their name here 1-800-H... Anyway, 'installed' is a kind term for an obscenely shoddy job!! I thought I did good going with the big name company! HA!!

Jason showed me where there were openings, gaps and holes you could put your hand and fingers in. Exposed nails that the next shingle should've covered, leaking rain. Missing flashing where maybe they just put some caulk instead! The roof vents were NOT EVEN INSTALLED OVER THE HOLE THEY CUT OUT FOR THEM, making them TOTALLY USELESS. Lord knows where it leaked and only soaked into bags of old clothed or something, instead of leaking into the rooms.

Anyway, Jason fixed everything up, like, Superb! It's only been a week and hasn't rained since, but I have full confidence in their workmanship. Now, when I look in the attic, I can see LIGHT (GASP)coming in through the roof vents, that I NEVER SAW before!! And the attic is, like, 20 degrees cooler, and So Is The House!!

I found my next roofing company.

Hi is very Great person, professional , treat me like his family , called him after my roof got damage due to high wind he came right away within couple hours to cover everything and fix it to prevent any leakage ,took picture inform me with damages . I had second incident of high wind within days I called him again he came right away to fix it and repair everything again.While he worked with my insurance adjuster hand by hand to show him everything it was damage .
