Attic Insulation & Ventilation Pro's

10/10; from Lauren on the phones to Jake on the inspection. Learned my home inspector said bathroom fans weren’t ventilating out of the house, when in reality there was just an old duct on the ground. Was getting ready to spend money I didn’t need to. Looking forward to my next house for these guys to just come out and inspect from the get go!

PS your dog will be obsessed with Jake and be sad when he leaves.

The property manager for our 65-unit condominium association hired Attic Pros to provide extra insulation to solve a condensation problem. After three visits, one of which had to be rescheduled because they didn't arrive within the promised timeframe, the problem persists, and Jake Barrington (owner) refuses to take responsibility for what they were paid to do. He even stated "If the association or property management decide to not use our services in the future, I can accept that."

Working with Attic Pros was excellent! Honestly my wife and I consider Jake, the owner, to be one of the most honest/genuine contractors we've had the opportunity to work with. He even squeezed us in right at the border of their service areas!

After some bad experiences even just getting quotes from some companies, Jake was the complete opposite. While others are concerned about their sales pitch he was straight to the point and was even able to dispel some of the myths/sales tactics other companies were trying to use to scare us into much more work than necessary. The price was reasonable too.

When it came time for the job - the work crew was also excellent. They were able to do the work earlier than planned and finished everything up much faster than we expected. They also put in a lot of effort to keep our home clean and free from debris.

We'd happily recommend them to anyone!

We would definitely recommend Attic Pros! They were quick with a response, got over to our house for a quote within a day, and the problem is already taken care of. They were professional, everyone we worked with was extremely friendly (we specifically spoke and worked with Jake and then Adam), and they explained all that they'd be doing clearly and concisely. I found this Company 12 years ago and was so impressed with the then owner George Zentz and the work they did for me. At that time, I had a new roof (another company) installed with soffit venting, and I thought I should have new attic insulation installed. When George went into my attic, he found the roofing company had NOT placed baffles for the soffit venting, although I had paid the roofing company for same. Also, the roofing company had not connected the bathroom exhaust vent ductwork to the roof exhaust, therefore, hot wet air was going directly into my attic. As George took pictures I had evidence for the roofing company and they reimbursed me for the amount. George subsequently installed 116 six foot long baffles, fixed the bath exhaust, re-tapped old duct joints, plugged garage light tubes, cut out a new front porch vent (which the previous roofing company should have done), and said I did not need new insulation!! George did add to my existing insulation to bring it up to the appropriate R value. Today, 12 years later, the new owner Jake (son-in-law of George) came to my house to inspect my attic as the roof has been problematic. Jake reported my attic was dry, and my insulation was fine. Jake was as honest as George and did not charge me for the visit. I cannot adequately express my gratitude. I have had so many experiences of being lied to by tradespeople and their company representatives over the years, as I am sure many of you reading this have also. I recommend this company to you without reservation, and I hold this company in the highest esteem for their honesty, integrity and workmanship.

I had my attic air sealed and insulated by these guys a couple years ago. They do excellent work, they're knowledgeable, they're quick and cleaned up all the mess before they left. I highly recommend this company if you are planning on upgrading your attic's insulation!

Great experience all around. When Jake came out to take a look at the attic and give an estimate he was very professional, informative and honest. He went over everything that would be done and explained about the process without being salesy or pushy. He answered all my questions and spoke very highly of his team. Today, they came out to install more ventilation, insulation, a solar attic fan, and swapped out our bathroom fan. The team with quick, efficient, and did not leave a mess behind. The owner was soooo honest and spoke high regard of his business and his family....it put a smile on my entire day. Jake from Attic Pro’s came out and gave me a quote to add insulation in my attic. I was getting condensation when we experienced sub-zero temps and this condensation created stains on the ceiling in my spare bedroom. I only had 6” of insulation. They added another 12” and also included doing extra things such as adding another baffle and insulating the ductwork for both of my bathroom exhaust fans. Jake was very informative and no pressure. Their price was extremely reasonable. When the crew arrived on the scheduled day to perform this work, they were courteous, respectful and personable. They took before and after pictures for me. I highly recommend this company, as they are the BEST!!

Honest and competent. Although we did not need their service at this time, we would call Attic Pros back in a heartbeat. Attic Pro's is the only company to use.
We had quotes from three local companies, and after reviewing the quotes, Attic Pro's was the ONLY company that would have truly fixed the problem rather than simply cleaning the attic.
Fake warranty policies from other places that would not protect you.
The really sad part is the price difference between all quotes was within $400.00 of each other. Do not try to save a couple hundred bucks. Use Attic Pro's. Amazing service and quality work, that actually gave us a real solution with a true warranty.

Best money ever spent!!! For years we struggled with attic issues & ice dams and could not find anyone with a solution that we felt confident with. George and Susan were punctual, responsive, honest and very helpful in the appointment setup, consulting and initial meeting.

The day of team was on time, worked quickly, were very considerate of our home and family, honest and polite. They tidied up well and gave us regular updates and information. Follow up and billing was efficient.

Great company to work with. I got a zero pressure free estimate that was very detailed with a good explanation of everything. I waited a few months to follow thru as I did not have an immediate mold issue, then COVID-19 happened. Once they were able to work again, I had them come. When the guys showed up to do the work, they were very professional and clean. Very minimal contact to follow the rules. They were in and out quickly. I would definitely have them back if I need more work in the future. I would also recommend them for attic work, don't trust your roofer on ventilation. A roofer installs shingles, they don't all know ventilation.

Found the company from Consumer Energy website for our attic insulation and sealing project. A very professional, clean and quality job did by the crew! The crews are friendly and very responsible as well. After the attic job done, they also had the room and the stairs vacuumed and cleaned. Most important of all, the value of the project can be felt right after it's done, as our noisy furnace is running much less. Surely a company you can trust on!

I want to put 4 stars. The guy was extremely nice, knowledgeable. The pricing was fair. I am willing to spend a couple of thousand as soon as today. Wait I can't, THEY DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS! First business I have ever seen not take credit cards. Now I have to find someone else which sucks because I would of like to give them my business.

Wonderful company! The 3 men crew working with us that day were very prompt, courteous and friendly. They came out and installed baffles and cellulose insulation in our attic. The final result exceeded our expectations! We noticed a decrease, almost immediately, in the frequency and length of time our furnace was running. I would highly recommend this company and will be contacting them for any and all future work.

These guys were great. Did a great job, on time and no mess. About a year later I had a dryer vent problem that the not so good appliance repair guy said was Attic Pros' fault. Attic Pro came out that evening fixed the problem that they had NOTHING to do with. It was a clogged dryer vent from an extra 6' of hose laying inside the wall. He fixed it all up and left without asking for a dime.
I would recommend them to anyone anytime.

One year ago we learned that our attic had a mold issue and also was very poorly insulated and poorly ventilated, resulting in some delamination in the roofing plywood. After getting a quote and talking through all the questions I had with George on the phone, my wife and I decided to hire Attic Pros. The whole project included attic cleaning, fumigation, adding insulation throughout, adding sofit vents that were missing along the whole front of the home, adding a central roof attic vent, properly connecting our range fan and bathroom fans to roof vents, and more. Amazingly the guys completed the work in about three or four hours which was suprising to me, since the cost seemed comparatively expensive for work done so fast. The technicians were courteous and happy to take pictures of the finished work. On the way out, the tech told me I should not have to worry about my attic again. Well I have spent the last year worrying about my attic off and on and finally I climbed up there to look at an unrelated issue (small amount of water came in from a roof junction area). When I got up in the attic, I was pleased to see so much insulation I pratically had to swim through it. Also, and most importantly, the wood on the north side of the attic which had been covered in dark mold a year ago was clean and dry. This evidence on top of a noticable decrease in heating costs has convinced us that the substantial investment we made in our attic with Attic Pros was money well spent. It would appear Attic Pros are happy to work themselves out of a job by handling attic issues thoroughly the first time. I would not hesitate to hire Attic Pros again if I ever move and find myself in need of their services.

Call these guys!!! We had issues with squirrels in our attic for years. We had a handful of reputable critter people come out and not be able to fix the problem so we just lived with it! Jake came out late on a Friday to check out our vents on our roof. He ended up going in both of our attics also even though it was late becuase he wanted to make sure he didnt miss anything. George was absolutely wonderful! We have a horrible mold problem and we weren't sure what direction to go in order to remedy it. He was very upfront with us with out options and we were very surprised. He suggested that the best thing for us and our particular situation was to go with a company that does attic encapsulation. We really appreciated dealing with an honest salesman who truly cares about his customers and is willing to refer them to other companies if it is in their best interest.
