Company is a complete joke. Takes months to even get started and then when they do start, they send 12 year olds over to do all the work. Have never seen carpentry work so bad in my life and it’s unbelievable that an insurance company can hire a company that does this work. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to ever use this company as they are shady, shitty, and scam people.

Greetings. I'd like to give my utmost appreciation for the excellence, professionalism Advance Restoration displayed during my unfortunate situation at my home. Bryan answered my call immediately and dispatched a crew in less than 30 minutes. AJ and his crew we're amazing neutralizing and containing the situation. I'm forever grateful to them, and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO EVERYONE WHO NEEDS THEIR SERVICES !!!! Thank you Advance Restoration Team for EVERYTHING.

I was referred to these people by my insurance company. I should have known they were shifty when they tried to charge me for the mold text results I had paid for and sent to them. The guys doing the mold removal where great,but the rebuilding of a basement storage room should not take a whole year. They sent me an invoice for $14450 to do the work but assured me I was only responsible for the $4450. I told them I wasn't spending that amount of money on a storage room.
That's when I started to get harassed by one of their employees wanting me to send them the check the insurance company had sent me. My accounts were locked up because of a security issue so I explained several times it would be sent out as soon as I could get the bank to release the funds.I sent a certified check for $7200.14. Turned out I only owed them a small amount and they agreed I overpaid them by $6800.
I've emailed, called and was transferred to the owner Spencer. He ignored me and my request for my money to be returned
Its been a year since I've been working on getting my money back so all I can say is
RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY

Spoke with Bryan early Sunday morning and he reassured me that his company would be here for me. Response time was incredible and the crew was amazing . I would recommend this company (5) stars .

This company is a gem. We had a small house fire the Sunday before Christmas and Bryan was nothing short of amazing. Friendly, empathetic and an all around good guy. I would recommend them and give more stars if I could

We are very impressed with the overall experience from start to finish. Will, the project manager, was very professional, he listened attentively to our concerns and was able to schedule to match our availability. He even gave us advice on a project unrelated to what they were contracted to do, and that turned out well, thanks to the information that he provided. Roof, gutters, painting…no complaints.

AJ and the crew that came to my home were courteous, respectful, and dedicated. They were determined to get the job done and worked more than 14 hours on a Friday to get the job done.

I had water in my basement from my chimney. I was so surprised they came within one hour to my house and they stayed until over midnight very excellent company . Highly recommended!

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Do NOT recommend. Do not hire.
They redid part of my house, for the same problem to happen again. After it was “repaired.” Didn’t finish the project. Have been told, “they’re gonna finish it, they’re going to finish it.” Months later, still not finished, they didn’t clean up. I had to hire someone myself, on my dime…to clean up after their guys. After their employees trashed the two rooms they were redoing. Leaving garbage from their food, and other trash laying around. Scuffing and chipping brand new paint and drywall. Not touching any of it up, or replacing the lost or broken items they took down. Nothing but problems and NO communication with this company!

1-800-Water Damage

We returned from our vacation to discover water damage and mold growing in our
lower lever. Darren was on site to begin the remediation within a couple of hours
after we called them.

I attribute the quality of the work performed and the open communication we had
with the team to Darren. This quality consisted of:

1. Easy and open communication on what was going to happen, when and why.

2. The removal of the baseboards without any breakage and any excessive noise.

3. Building dust barriers to minimize the dust carried into other areas of our home.

4. Numbering the baseboards by location for ease of reinstallation by our carpenter.

5. Precise cuts in the drywall, making it easier to install the new drywall.

We also observed Darren working with his team members. He told them what to do,
how to do it, and why it should be done in a specific way. This demonstrated his
leadership and employee development skills.

Our carpenter and drywall installers both commented that the quality of the work
performed was exceptional and it made their work much easier.

We will be telling our friends that if they need any remediation work performed,
they should ask for Darren.

We had a couple leaks on our roof which ended up doing a lot of water damage in our family room and kitchen. Bryan and his team have done a great job so far with accessing the damage and taking out everything that was ruined. During this stressful time everyone at Advance Restoration has gone above and beyond to make this as smooth as possible, from the manager Bryan, the office assistant Aleesha, and the team leader James.
They have put our minds at ease. Looking forward to working with them on putting our home back together .

This place is busy, yet they still managed to do good work in a timely fashion. Everyone I spoke to was very nice, but Jimmy stood out. He went the extra mile, so to speak. He had to deal with both my boyfriend and me-which is no easy task. My bf and I were often on different pages and were both calling/texting on a regular basis with some question, request, you name it. He was great at responding. On the phone, and in person, he’s super patient and friendly. You would never know he has dozens of other jobs he’s managing. Between the restorative process, and working with the insurance company, it got confusing for me. There were times when he’d make the hour drive out here to help me understand things better in person. He never seemed rushed, which I appreciated. He has an excellent balance of being professional, but keeping it real.

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!!!!! OUR BASEMENT FLOODED WITH SEWER WATER LAST WEEK, WE LOST "EVERYTHING",THEY CAME OUT, SUCKED UP WATER, AND NEVER RETURNED TO FINISH THE JOB- THEY LEFT EQUIPMENT HERE AND EVERYTHING...HAVENT ANSWERED THE PHONE FOR US SINCE THAT DAY!!!!!! BUT MADE SURE THEY CASHED THAT CHECK!!!! *** U CAN REMOVE MY POST IF U WANT TO ADVANCE REST. I WILL KEEP POSTING EVERYDAY, U CAN NOT DO PEOPLE LIKE THIS IN TIME OF CRISIS!!!! My experience with this company's management and crew was EXCELLENT! They not only did quality work, but their kindness and conduct helped us through a traumatic flooding experience.
I would highly recommend this company (Advance Restoration) to anyone who has a timely crisis and needs to trust a company completely unknown to them.

Finding our basement was flooded, we called Advance Restoration. They were out within a few hours and handled everything from removing water, drying out basement, applying anti microbial to walls & floor, bringing in a contents company to handle all our basement contents as well as restoration of our basement.
More importantly, they had our back in dealing with Insurance.
Everyone within the Advanced Restoration Team has been kind, courteous & empathetic to what we’ve gone through.
From Bryan(mitigation manager), Spencer(CEO), Daryn, Jimmy and Aleesha we can’t say enough good things.
Also a shout out to Grant, AJ, Colin & Donald who worked efficiently & non stop as if it was their home.
I highly recommend Advance Restoration without hesitation.

I had a water and mold issue. They started right away after there assessment in which I was informed on what had to be done. The staff was very friendly. There was good communication as to what they were doing and what had to be done to completion. They were very professional and did a fine job. Great company.

We had a major flood in our home, starting on the main floor and flowing through to our finished basement. We discovered it early in the morning after an unknown number of hours, so the damage was extensive on both floors. The team at advanced restoration was incredibly responsive, showing up with a full team within 45 minutes of our initial call. And the outstanding service, skills and communication continued throughout our time with them during all the phases. Bryan was the team leader and he spent a huge amount of time clearly communicating each step to us, answering our questions, and always providing a reassuring touch at this most stressful moment for our family. The whole Advance team was so professional, skilled (and friendly), and the other teams Advance brought in (furniture, electronics, etc...) were equally professional and high quality. We can't say enough good things about the company, the team, and the team leader.

Advance Restoration came out and assessed the water damage, drew up a schematic of the affected area, documented everything for our insurance adjuster and worked with them to get us replacement for all the damage done by the water overflow. We are very happy with the work they provided and our home was brought back to better than before it happened. We would highly recommend them.

Spencer and his crew were top notch every step of the way. From the initial clean up to the ongoing fight with the insurance company and their repetitive requests for more info, they were there to accommodate. Spencer documented and checked everything, even after another incompetent company supposedly came through and cleaned up. I cannot say enough great things about this company. They should be the first call to make when you have a personal disaster for sure!

A pipe burst in my upstairs bathroom damaging the bathroom and kitchen on the first floor. Spencer's team (Advance Restoration) was on the site an hour after our meeting. His team worked with efficiency being respectful to my home with a friendly, pleasant attitude. My house was secured, removing damaged materials and initiating the drying process that took 3-4 days with oversight by his team.
My floors were protected and the house left clean with all garbage removed from site. He also worked with the ins. co. providing all information. Working with a warm, friendly and professional team helped take me from a nightmare to a a deep breath that I was in good hands.
I would recommend Advance Restoration (Spencer Yaklin). I feel they went beyond my expectations to get it right.

I tried to contact this company when my basement flooded with 7in of water suddenly. The first call I was told they would contact a tech and call me back. An hour later, no word. Second call they called bot techs on duty twice, no one answered. I was told I'd get a call back again. Another hour later, no call. I'm told AGAIN that no techs are available and I'll receive a call back soon. I've got 7 inches of water in my basement with my furnace. They say they are 24 hours and fast. But they are not proving that here.

Advance Restoration helped me out so much when my kitchen and basement flooded. They were at my house within 90 minutes of my call. They removed all the damaged stuff. Did all the tear down needed in my basement and kitchen and did the mold remediation in my basement. Throughout, they were professional and communicative. They even helped me work with my insurance company and their help led to me getting reimbursed more money than I would have ever been able to get on my own. I highly recommend them!

Posting again since they keep hiding my review, which I’m sure they’ve done to many other people. Do not, under any circumstances or for any reasons, hire these people. They came to fix multiple leaks that occurred because of another shoddy company, and not only did they not fix the leaks, the ripped out flooring and walls that were heavily and VISIBLY contaminated with mold, then blew industrial fans directly at these spots to "dry them out" which had the consequence of spreading the mold around my house. If you don't know, mold causes serious health problems such as cancer and mold sickness shortly after exposure is not a fun experience. I asked them multiple times if we had anything to worry about and every time they gave me a different lie. They lied about the black spots I was seeing on the ground, about the allergies I had suddenly incurred, even about the cost to have testing done in order to deter me. I finally hired an outside mold inspector to get a real answer, because on top of being dangerously negligent they were deeply unprofessional and I didn't feel that I could trust them. This mold specialist told me not only was my home heavily inundated with mold, but that it was uninhabitable. We lost tens of thousands of dollars from moving costs, having to get rid of contaminated furniture, and hotel costs since we had to evacuate immediately. Again, this never would have happened if I hadn't had a hunch these guys were untrustworthy. They didn't follow anything resembling safety precautions, leading to greater contamination throughout my home than was even necessary. The mold specialist I hired to come test our mold levels even warned me that not only is this company infamously shady, if we were to file a lawsuit we would need to get in line. DO NOT HIRE THEM.

They were incredible to work with. They were very polite, helpful, hard-working, responsive, timely, and communication was outstanding. They went above and beyond what I ever expected.

We had a great experience with Advance Restoration!!! We had a slow leak from washing machine hose that buckled our floor... advance was out promptly and dried out the floor ... very happy with progress. Yes, I would highly recommend Advance Restoration!!

BEWARE!!!! This company is not out there to help you at all!! Make sure you read all of your contracts cause they make sure if you don't use them to zap with with 20% of what they estimate not what is approved. Biggest scam company I have. Not only did my rep quit and I was replaced with having the owner who has no idea what is going on, goes along with the rest of the company from a call center girl named Jessica to their billing department Michele who just reads a computer. If you encounter these people RUN FAST, VERY FAST!

"Eric and the guys came in on a Saturday at 8PM and did a great job!! They looked at the water damage in my basement and immediately got to work. Ripped out some flooring, set up several fans and dehumidifiers. After a couple of days, Eric came back to test the walls, etc to see if more was needed. The whole crew was very very nice and very friendly and professional. I would recommend anytime!! Thank you Spencer and Eric and the whole crew - you were great!! "

We had a house fire that our FD responded to in lightning speed. Advance Restoration representatives were quick, friendly, and efficient. The process of dealing with our insurance was very arduous, but Advance was always available, ready to assist, and quick to respond.

Advance helped me make it possible to move out of my apartment and into my new home. The three men that came twice to move me were very nice and happy to help (Jeff, Dan, and Sherman). One even said “this is why we are here!” Being that they were there in between jobs, they still offered to help come back to remove the waste from previous owners. The move went by very smoothly and was free of charge which was amazing. Many thanks to the owner, Spencer! I’m grateful for their dedication in helping the community when in need. After a shocking , traumatic fire experience at my residence during the night, Advance Restoration responded immediately to my unsettling situation. They rushed to the sight the very same night and immediately started taking appropriate action to the fire situation. They presented themselves professionally yet keeping in mind, compassionately, the traumatic affect it had on me and my family. They finished the job in a timely manner and made it as comfortable as possible for my family. They are a FIRST CLASS ACT and I would recommend the crew to anyone that had an unfortunate situation similar to mine or otherwise.

We had frozen burst pipes in February and decided to call Advance as we knew of their reputation. We were not disappointed. They did both the water mitigation and reconstruction of our entire Kitchen and bath. Their work was outstanding and responsiveness to our needs was excellent. Erik, our site supervisor was on top of the reconstruction all along the way and we ended up with a gorgeous kitchen remodel. We had water damage and were unhappy with the service provided. I asked for a detailed bill or itemized statement from for 2 months and finally had to deny payment before they would send it out. The charges were astronomical and extremely excessive for the work performed. The water was shut off to the building, yet they continued to use the bathroom creating all sorts of additional issues as well as a horrible smell throughout the entire building. I would never recommend this company to perform any work and have contacted our insurance company to dispute any claims they decide to make.
