From the first contact to the last, Jose was friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, professional, with great communication as well, which decreased my stress level considerably. This is the best contractor I have ever worked with!
We hired them to replace a roof on an old building on which nothing was square or straight. Quite a challenge - and they exceeded the requirements.
The number one thing is Mr. Sotelo communicates. That is RARE in my experience, and worth a great deal. He responds to texts and phone calls (which most contractors around here fail to do)!
And they don't fool around. We have had other contractors disappear for days or weeks; Mr. Sotelo and his crew stayed on the job until it was finished.
There were no excuses - they just did the work as promised, WHEN they promised.
And the quality of work they did is top-notch. Not over-priced either.
Another big plus - they cleaned up! We have had to clean up after other contractors; this crew cleaned up the construction debris and left our place actually looking better than when they came. THAT is rare, and a great service!
I will hire JM Sotelo Construction again anytime I need construction work done.

From the first contact to the finished job, everything was quick and efficient, yet high quality. Jose didn’t try to upsell me on anything unnecessary or expensive. Communication was clear and concise. They did a great job with installation of three split mini AC/heating units at a fraction of what I expected to pay.

Jose Sotelo and his crew did a fabulous job of making our outdoor space more private and beautiful by adding a course of block and a rounded topper to our existing garden wall, an then stuccoing it and painting it to match our house. They were thorough and stayed in touch the whole time so we knew what to expect when. Because we started the job in December, they had to work around several bouts of cold weather. They used their time super efficiently and met every expectation we could have had. I can’t recommend JM Sotelo Construction highly enough.

Our project dealt with replacing a coyote fence with an adobe style concrete and stucco wall. Sotelo and crew had good communication skills and were informative as to all project considerations.
