J&J Company were excellent for a garden project. I had them build four large beds pre-cut, but in addition they made tables to place them on to avoid flooding. When I asked him to come back to cut the legs shorter, because I wasn’t present at the time, they did so the following morning without delay. They were personable, very professional, and did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

I can't say enough about the work that J&J's workers did this week in replacing my shingles and gutters. The work included my roof, gazebo, apartment, outhouse and shed. All this work was done in 3 days. The workers were amazing, professional, timely and cleaned up all debris leaving my property better than they found it. I highly recommend them.

Honestly, Jhefferson's proposal/contract was a bit too vague to make me comfortable at first, and we had some minor communication issues, which made me just a bit nervous despite all the excellent reviews. In hindsight, though, I now know that this was strictly attributable to the fact that English is not Jhefferson's first language, etc.

I'm certainly glad I decided to "take a chance"! He/they did a great strip/reroof, complete in one day, including two flat sections, with excellent cleanup. Six months have passed, and there are no issues. Also, they repaired some interior water damage and replaced a set of windows. Interior window trim came out beautifully, complete with pre primed/painted composite trim (Jhefferson wasn't even obligated to paint by contract).

Jhefferson and Erika are honest, hard-working, very responsive, and easy to deal with. I recommend highly.

J&J brought a crew of 9 to strip the existing roofing and install the new Owens-Corning materials. Upon arrival everyone started to do their specific job and set up protective covers over the gardens and area surrounding the house while others set about stripping the roofing. They worked as a team.
It was quite impressive to watch such an efficient and skilled crew.
Their attention to detail, expert installation of each stage of the new roofing and great coordination produced top quality results.
The entire time a couple of people were picking up the debris on the tarps and loading the dumpsters.
Late in the day 4 more workers came after finishing another job so they were able to finish ours that day.
This was a complicated job as the house has many gables , valleys and roof sections yet they did a perfect job.
The cleanup was also excellent and when they left our property was clean neat and nothing damaged. They came back a few days later and did a 2nd walk around with the large magnet on rollers to ensure they removed any nails and did the gardens with a smaller magnet.
We were pleased with every aspect of the job and everything they described would be done was completed as indicated and at a reasonable price.
It is rare to find a contractor who does everything right and as promised with exceptional attention to details. We could not have asked for a better job and pleasant people with whom to do business.

My roof suffered some wind damage in one of the nor'easters this winter. I called J&J Rivera as they are local and had good reviews.

Jhefferson came out to survey the damage that same day. They sent me a very reasonable quote that afternoon. His guys came the next day and repaired the roof. They also inspected the entire roof to insure no other damage had occurred, and cleaned up all debris from the job. I had my roof fixed within 24 hours of calling them! That is service!

He was sub contracted to do my roof in 2018. I am currently having around chimney leaking. When i contracted contractor he gave me Johnnys number. He played stupid. Neither contractor or sub contractor willing to do anything to help resolve issue.
I would not recommend this company do any work. Find yourself another person so you dont get taken advantage of.

These guys did a fantastic job on my roof 4 weeks ago here in Old Saybrook,CT. They were on time(7:15am) and worked almost non-stop(outside of a lunch break) until the job was done around 7pm. Highly recommended.

We had a roof leak so we contracted with J&J to replace our roof. In advance of the install date, J&J saw rain pop up on the weather forecast so they accelerated their schedule, added crew, and finished our (large) roof in one day before the rain started.

Last month, I contacted them to ask if they would locate and repair a bathroom ceiling - roof leak. Jhefferson responded timely.
We ended up hiring J&J Rivera to replace our entire house roof with attached garage, along with two old Skylights, replaced with new Solar ones. The bathroom ceiling leak was also repaired nicely.
We decided on this because their price replacement estimates were fair and competitive. Jhefferson was very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

They removed the old roof off of my house and two barns, cut in ridge vents, reflashed two chimneys, repositioned gutters, removed an old and installed a new sewer vent boot in a new location, patched over an obsolete one, and were extremely efficient. All of that was done in 10.5 hours! A great experience, all around!

June 9, 2021 our roof was leaking due to excessive rain and heavy winds. I researched roofing companies located along the shoreline and came upon J & J Roofing Company. I called the same day and explained our immediate problem. The responding person took my information and said Jefferson, one of the owners would be there in 15 minutes. He promptly showed up, gave me a great price and said he would have it fixed the next morning!! June 19, 2021, an excellent worker showed up and fixed the roof within a few hours!! I would recommend

Jhefferson Rivera and his 7 person crew are amazing. Starting with the estimate, he came out and was very attentive to what we wanted and explained how he would achieve our desired results. The new shingles were dropped off a couple of weeks later. The day of the new roof his crew arrived at 6:15 AM and got right to work. First they protected all bushes and siding with large tarps, then five guys scraped off all the old shingles, while two women cleaned up all the debris. By 10:30 they were putting down the ice & water protector and the synthetic underlayment. When they started installing the new shingles it was like a well choreographed ballet, with each person knowing exactly what to do and doing it efficiently. This very polite, well trained crew had the new (40 square) roof completely installed by 7:00 PM, and had the entire yard cleaned up by 7:45 PM. The following day two of the guys returned to finish the ridge vent and the new flashing around the chimney. Then a day later the new gutters were installed. Jhefferson's wife Erika kept us informed at every step: from the contract, to the permit, to the inspection, to the shingle warrantee. Our town building inspector was very impressed by the quality of the job. We are extremely happy with the entire process, and highly recommend J&J Rivera Home Improvement for your new roof.

Replaced old siding with new cedar shake vinyl siding and Azek trim. Jhonny and crew were pleasant and easy to work with, the price was good and a BEAUTIFUL job was completed in only 5 days! House is TOTALLY maintenance free now, and looks soooo great due to the installation quality and new siding materials that look just amazing. Many neighbors have stopped by to tell us how great it looks, and several are now looking into upgrading theirs. I had felt our 35 yr old siding was good enough, but my wife wanted new. I am now soooo glad we replaced because wow! :)

A general contractor hired this crew to re-frame windows at my house. Other than the GC they were the only workers on-site. Every window had to be redone, the work site was messy, and if trash fell out of their car, I got to keep it. My personal tools were found all over, used in the process, including my stash of N95 masks that grew legs. Jonathan seemed very professional when I met him and I hope that this was an outlier of his work performance.
