Jim White Contracting completed our roof, gutter and downspout replacement in June 2024. We worked with Richard White on the estimate and the roof replacement. The roof was mostly torn off the first day and replaced the second day. In addition to the roofing, new metal flashing and roof vents were installed. A separate crew came and replaced the prefinished gutters and downspouts. When the roof replacement was complete there were a few items that we requested be taken care of. Richard was very prompt and had the items fixed within a few days. Thank you to Richard and the hard working team for a job well done. You exceeded our expectations!

Rich and Edgar came out on Memorial Day morning to fix a dryer vent that had become a bird nest. Very professional, very friendly. I will definitely use them again.

Couple weeks ago Jim White Contracting picked up my call immediately after a span of gutter fell off the front of my home. Richard was polite, professional and empathetic to my situation. He'd gotten my estimate prepared and to me within 48 hours. Richard always answered my calls/texts & emails as well as my questions and concerns. He offered very competitive bid (of the three companies I contacted) for seamless gutters with color choices, and the price did not go up after work was completed. Installers showed up and completed gutter install when Richard said they would. Gutter installers were also very friendly & courteous while working, as well as efficient, organized and clean. Didn't find one screw or scrap on my property after they removed & hauled off old gutters, and installed new seamless gutters. All in all we are very pleased with Jim White Contracting, definitely recommend them to everyone and will contact them again for our exterior home renovations and repairs.

James White Roofing put a new roof on for me and my adjoining condo neighbor. Rich White was my contact person. He took time to clearly explain the process from beginning to finish. He said several times to call or text him if I had any questions, which I did several times. I went with the more expensive wind and hail resistant shingles. My neighbor went with a less expensive shingle I was afraid it would not match. It matched perfectly. The crew that did the work was prompt, professional and hard working. They tore off the old roof and did the preparations in one day. They came back the next day and even waited through a hail and thunderstorm to complete the roof that day. I am the third family member to use Jim White Construction. They are the best roofers. I will be recommending them to anyone that needs a new roof.

His knowledge of Iowa law was essential in our ability to replace the roof. He also installed our siding. Jim was extremely professional and provided quality work.
