Jet Development

Covid caused understandable delays but seemed very extreme in my build, an extra 6 months of waiting. Communication during that time was frustrating and almost always initiated by me. Their construction manager was awesome and workmanship quality was good, my issues or concerns during the build were listened to and dealt with quickly. Their accounting and involving is horrible! They invoice early and threaten quickly.... I'm not sure I would use them again because of this.

1 Bed/Bath addition-
Their pricing was competitive, the finished project looks great, they knocked out the project in a timely manner, communication was great, and they made me feel like a valued customer. Jesus the GC was also great to work with. Five stars.

Managed and built a 2 bedroom, detached casita. Purchased a home and wanted to convert the detached garage into a full 2- bedroom home for in-laws. Jennifer and Jet Development were communicative, reasonably priced, on time, and fixed all of our permitting issues created by the external architect. Before their involvement, the project was a disaster. I highly recommend Jet Development. I know someone currently trying to build a guest house, and their experience has been horrible. Jet Development made our process smooth and the quality of the house build is high. We are 3 years after the construction completed, and it has been wonderful. They did custom work and made smart choices regarding plumbing, electrical and other utility connections. I've recommended Jet Development to our neighbors who were having difficulty before Jennifer got involved. This is a great company.

Both Jennifers were exceptional. We are in a new home and have many home projects on our list to include adding a Casita. We contacted Jet Development and let them know we are still very early in the planning process and needing rough estimates for budgeting. They scheduled a site visit and meeting with us at our home to go over some of the preliminary details and were very quick to get us a rough estimate back about what our Casita would cost and what was required in terms of approvals with the Clark County to get the project started. They answered all of our questions and continue to be very helpful. Our Casita project is about a year out but highly likely that we will use Jet Development.

Jennifer was highly professional and treated me with great resect. Highly recommend Jet Development for any building and space construction and management project. I will circle back with them on my next project.

Jet Development did a great job building a casita in the backyard. They handled the entire project - design, permits, HOA approval, and all construction. The quality is first rate - nothing fancy, but good solid workmanship throughout. Everything proceeded smoothly. All of the inevitable hiccups (damaged vanity delivered from Hone Depot etc) were handled smoothly. All of my requests were accommodated - sometimes with a cost, sometimes not, but all the extra charges (glass shower door, extra lights, tankless water heater etc) we’re documented with a change order so I knew the costs before authorization and I felt the additional costs were reasonable.

Costs were exactly as quoted. Only changes were discussed and agreed in advance. There was no “inflation has increased prices since the quote” kind of issue - which frankly I was expecting and would have thought might be reasonable given the price was agreed last July.

That brings up the biggest issue in this and pretty much any construction projects - the schedule. The contract was signed in July, but the city of Las Vegas didn’t issue the permits until December. Obviously not under Jet’s control. Like everyone, I wasn’t happy with the length of time to build, but there were no lengthy delays (other than the permits). A few days here and there where nothing was moving, but not weeks.

Overall, I am very happy. The quality seems excellent and that’s the main thing. The price was competitive with other quotes and was adhered to as agreed even with a long delay for permits. The schedule was longer than I would have liked, but that would have been true with any contractor.

Great customer service, a pleasure to do business with. A trouble free and Great finished product. Would not hesitate to call on them for projects. This company has super and highly motivated people that's a pleasure to work with.

HORRIBLE ! Horrible. Lied and Lied to the point NO trust what so ever so agreed to end the job, promised to send back overpayment- check is in the mail, oh what a surprise No check. The plans she provided cannot be utilized by the County permit, what a waste of time and money. BEWARE.

This is the 5th project that Jet Development has done for us, despite all the problems courtesy of covId 19, they did an outstanding job. They completely remodeled our kitchen, floor to ceiling, and it is spectacular. They kept us in the loop with all the issues, availability of materials, wait times on appliances and delivery. The bottom line, they did an outstanding job in less than an ideal situation, COVID 19.

As a homeowner of more than 20 years in Las Vegas we have employed many contractors for a variety of services. Jennifer and Jet Development were one of the best we have ever used. They were very professional, performed excellent work, were reasonably priced, and very accommodating to our numerous changes.

They did a removal and redesign/construction of a large patio that is attached to our house. During this process we had numerous change orders and subsequent visits from Jennifer, her husband, and their designer. I have counted over 50 emails that we exchanged and at least 10 phone conversations. I would not say that we are the easiest people to please - but each time they were more than accommodating and very patient with us despite our (over?) attention to detail. If something was wrong, they made it right.

The project turned out very well and for considerably less when compared to other estimates. Their quality of materials and finish was excellent and the patio looks as good as when they finished building it.

In summary, I would not hesitate to use Jet Development again and would highly recommend them for any project of this considerable scope.

Jet Development has been our general contractor on a variety of commercial and residential construction projects over 20 years, including brand new construction, tenant improvement build-out, electrical contracting, roofing contracting, subdivision and grading of residential building lots, concrete block walls, plumbing contracting, permitting of improvements, etc. Work is excellent quality and financial integrity is impeccable. Highly recommended.

I hired jet development to build a casita for me. Jen was very good at explaining all the details of the contract to me. Loved the work they did! Would highly recommend!

I told my husband before he hired Jet. Word of mouth. They will tell you they are coming…and they don’t ! Its just one excuse after another. They work around THEIR schedule…… NOT YOURS. They do great work. Credit, where credit is due. But don’t tell customers one thing. And do another.

If you are looking for good quality work call Jet !! They do not disappoint. Good quality work at a good price.

Stay Away!!! Jennifer is an awful project manager. Not one phase of our $$$K remodel was completed on time and correctly. It was so bad we had to bring in an independent inspector to go over their work. They can't be trusted to do any quality control. Nobody will be watching over your project. They rush you through the process and in the end don't stand by their work.

I'll give it to them that they get the workers to the job site. However they never knew what they were working on and would gripe at how awful of a company this was to work with. It was a common complaint that nobody knew what they were supposed to work on and that it was wasting time and money.

I stress EVERY aspect of our job was screwed up by them and they would want a change order to fix it. Framing, Doors, Windows, Tiles, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Drywall, Insulation, & Paint. All of these items had major defects in work. Even the cleaning crew came weeks early and walked away. They were never sent back out once the job was over. I've had to spend thousands to fix the work that Jet Development completed. Money well spent, as I'd never trust Jen and her team to fix anything.

Jen and team never came by to walk through the project and sign it off. All we received was a final bill. This is a company you want to avoid.

Prompt, professional, great communication, amazing work-product, and they stand by their product.

We had a pool house built and they did an absolutely amazing job. Very reasonable on pricing, and I was given the owner's cell phone from the beginning, and then the foreman's. When there were minor issues after completion (which, let's face it, there always are), they promptly remedied the situation.

I've referred them to others and HIGHLY recommend them for additions, remodels, pool structures, or casitas. They made it easy.

Jet Development does excellent work. The construction of our 400 sq. ft. house was done within budget and completely met all of our expectations. The construction workers conducted themselves professionally and maintained an organized and clean construction area throughout the entire process. It's been two years and the building construction is still perfect.

We have used Jet Development for a number of projects over the years, from small residential to medium sized commercial buildings and overall have had great results at a cost that is reasonable. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) Poor communication and organization at times 2) Mistakes that could have easily been avoided. I am a detail oriented person and I am a stickler for getting things right, and although mistakes have happened more frequently than we would have liked, Jet has certainly came forth and fixed things to a satisfactory level. Overall 4/5 stars pretty good in a tough industry, especially out here in Las Vegas where finding talented people is so difficult.

Several years ago Jet Development was the contractor chosen for me. They changed specifications I had implemented without my authorization. I was never provided a break down of all expenses (some $30,000) where they were paid, etc. The work they did was acceptable, had they followed by instructions. I'm just glad it was not my money being paid.

We recently contracted Jet Development to add a media room to our upstairs. I met with Jenifer and she mapped out a plan to complete the job. Jenifer listened to our visions for our room designs. We had a few concerns because we would be living in the house while the work was being performed. Jenifer explained everything and we reviewed the plans prior to starting the work. The work area was sealed off from the living area while the work was performed. At the end of each day the workers would clean their area prior to leaving for the day. The work was performed quickly and without lag time. We are so happy with our media room where we spend most family night.

Jet Development has been our general contractor on a wide variety of projects since 1998, including construction of a brand new commercial building on a vacant lot, construction of office and retail tenant improvements, construction of a single family residential subdivision, installation of heavy industrial equipment, building reconstruction and repair after vehicle collision damage, perimeter block wall construction, construction and repair of commercial storefronts, and resolving building department problems.

Plans and permits are expertly and efficiently handled.

Construction work is completed on budget and as agreed.

Punchlist items after the job is complete are cheerfully and promptly completed.

They are completely honest and safe with large sums of money. All subcontractors, materials suppliers and vendors, and labor are promptly paid in full, so there is never any mechanic's lien scares or dramas.

Highly recommended without any reservation or hesitation whatsoever.

The female estimator that gave me a quote was very short and almost rude with me. She was in and out of my house in less than 8 minutes and didn’t bother to talk or ask questions about any of my concerns. Her quote was the highest I received from all of the contractors I got bids from and nobody ever followed up with me by phone after they emailed me my estimate. It was a very weird experience. I wouldn’t recommend them unless they change some things with their customer service.

Jennifer was amazing. I bought a house that had a house fire. We had to take it down to the wood. The first walk through she gave me a ton of information and set the whole project up for success. The bid was very comprehensive. I would definitely use them in the future!

I love working with Jennifer and Javier on the new addition to my home. I added a bedroom and bath with a living room that extended the existing living room. We had rain delays but the timeframe that jet development finish my project was sufficient. They also did other small projects to make it look like a new home. Jet Development completed 2 different projects for me, a 20 ft extension to my porch and an 800 sq ft addition to my house. The extension was my test to see how Jet would do before I chose them to build the addition. My main goal for Jet was that each construction had to match the original 1-year old house so well that even a critical observer would think they were original construction. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!! Jet completed all work in an outstanding manner, on time, and within budget. I will recommend Jet Development to anyone who asks!

Jennifer and Jet Development did a complete kitchen, master bath and flooring remodel for us. They were a pleasure to work with and very helpful providing ideas and sources of materials. Alfred, our foreman, treated our house like it was his home. The tile people did amazing work and everyone who came to our house was respectful and friendly. I would not hesitate to use Jet Development for our next project.

The best compliment I can give is I would hire them again. As with any work done on a home my loft expansion did not go perfectly smooth. Jet was moving twice as fast as they said they would but when they hit a snag they had to slow down to a more human pace. They got the project done on time and they stuck to the budget they quoted. The workmanship was 4 stars, they had to come back and fix minor things. They earned the 5th star by truly backing up their work. If something was not to my liking they fixed it. They got the really inconvenient part of the construction done quickly which we appreciated getting our home back(most of it). I won't share pictures of their work but I can tell you all my neighbors with similar floor plans are now considering doing the same. I'll be sure to send them to Jet.

Although I have had to postpone my projects, I appreciated Jet’s on time appointment and fair estimates. When the time comes, I will definitely give Jet a call. J.P.

I love this company! The owner is amazing! Is involved in every job and is responsive to customers. I would be happy to allow the owner to show you the projects they completed for us. Also, they are honest and fair pricing. In fact we have completed 4 projects with them. 2 buildings, a cabin on Mt. Charleston and a home renovation. No job is too big or too small. From complete demo of a 9,000 square foot building- new walls, new roof etc- everything to new walls, flooring, paint and even garage flooring.

This is the best full service general contract company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I have done close to 10 remodels and no one else has even come close. Their pricing is competitive, they do excellent high quality work, their communication is great and they are very, very reliable. I wish they would move this business to Colorado so I can work with them again!

We contracted Jet Development in February to remodel a 15-year-old house in Sun City Anthem. Jennifer Wampole was fair, easy to work with, and she understood our ideas and scope of work very well. She worked with us to save the existing tile floor and also allowed us to shop for and purchase much of the fixtures and materials without adding a mark-up. We were only present in Las Vegas part time during the work, but Alfred, our foreman, communicated and managed the job as if it was his own house. He and Jennifer always responded quickly to requests and concerns. Martell, the tile installer, was thoughtful and articulate and did absolutely beautiful work. The job was finished on time, and clean-up was immaculate. We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen, bathrooms and flooring. We highly recommend Jennifer and Jet Development to anyone looking for quality work done at a reasonable price by respectful and kind people.
