We can't say enough good things about these guys. Greg and his team went above and beyond in our case. Our home was destroyed by another roofing company, so we needed emergency repair work done as well as a whole new roof. We have a pretty large and difficult roof set up, with 3 sections, and flat areas. These guys bumped up their work schedule to accommodate us, and were able to get the whole roof replaced extremely fast. It looks great and has gone through it's first Oregon winter with no problems. These guys were great in keeping up communication and helped out in so many ways. Thank you, and looking forward to working with you guys in the future for any exterior needs.

We recently had our old cedar shake roof replaced with a beautiful new composition roof installed by Jensen Exteriors in Salem. I am pleased to report that we were 100% delighted with the process from beginning to end. The point of first contact, Mike, did a great job of walking us through all the options in terms of materials and cost so that we could be confident in the decisions we made. And the crew that actually installed the roof was just fabulous! They were on time every day, brought the job to completion on schedule and seemed to really enjoy their camaraderie as a team. It was a pleasure to watch them work so efficiently and so professionally. They maintained a clean work environment, did little or no damage the to the landscaping around the house, and did everything possible to minimize inconvenience to our living situation.

They did an excellent job! Initial contact was professional. Roofing date a week later. Two story 2200sq ft house done in one day. Very happy with the roofing job at my coastal rental by Jensen Exteriors. Available prior to answer questions and shared the process with me, and owner Greg did a walk-around with me when the job was done. They also replaced two exterior walls of siding and painted it for me. Very pleased and have recommended them to my property management team!

We were not expecting to replace our roof this year, but Jensen made it very easy. They were able to come out within a couple of days to give us an estimate, and they really stuck to it too. Their workers were respectful and as quiet as they could be while replacing a roof--I work full time from home and it really wasn't too much to work around at all. Our roof looks really nice too, many guests we've had over since it was done have complimented the work!

This company is amazing!! I live on the central coast and I purchased a home. It needed a new roof and I got 3 bids. One company stated I didn't need one the other was a but high and Jensen came out gave me a great price. I did need a new roof and it had a leak. They came out before the roof was to be put on and tarped it so it wouldn't continue. The roofers were on time and they did a great job. Thank You ALL so much!!

Thank you team Jensen!! I had a great experience from start to finish. We received a prompt free written estimate (very reasonable pricing) which took very little time to schedule. We luckily were able to start re-roofing the following month, even during the winter months. The crew was professional, efficient, and really went the extra mile to make sure all roofing nails and old roofing material was removed from the yard.

I know this is a common complaint in general about roofing companies that roofing nails in particular get left around the yard when the job is completed. We did a search afterward to make sure, and couldn't find even one.

Jensen Exteriors did a great job replacing our roof. They were easy to communicate with; affordable; polite and professional workers. They were quick, and cleaned up after themselves when they were done roofing. We only needed one board replaced and they didn't try to sell us more than we needed. I called for an inspection and estimate. Mike came to appointment as scheduled and provided an estimate the very next day. My roof was 24 yrs old and ready for replacement. We had our roof and siding done by Jensen Exteriors. The guys they had come out did a great job for the most part. They did the roof first, which on a hot pert of the summer wasn't a great idea. Jensen didn't order a brick extra in case there were issues, which there were from the guys walking and setting ladders on it during the heat, one of the workers had some shingles at home and they replaced the damaged ones, and color didn't match (which didn't make us too happy, however apparently nothing we could do about it). As for the siding, they did a great job on installing, and was able to add the soffit boards which hid the roofing nails. As for the final touch ups, which were many, since guys were tired and worn out from a much longer install than planned we told them we would finish with it as they were making more work for themselves and us than needed.
As for response times and communication with Jensen, they could use improvement from start to finish. For most part he did get back to us right away on most stuff. The guy they had come out to do the estimate was mostly the issue. In the end we are happy with the overall look and appearance of our home, and have learned a lot of how contractors are these days, not like they were when I was growing up.

We just hired Jensen Exteriors to redo our roof and add in extra rooftop vents. Our neighbor recommended them to us and we are so happy we went with them! They have competitive pricing, great (quick) communication, are very knowledgeable and friendly. The four guys that did the roof work were a joy - respectful, nice, also good communicators - and they did a fabulous job! I didn’t expect the roof to look so good!! They cleaned up the job site and got the dumpster and porta potty out of our front yard in a timely fashion. Overall I would highly recommend them! Thanks everyone at Jensen!!!

We used Jensen to reside w/Hardie Plank and paint another part of our home. While we are an hour from them, their crew was always on time, did a fantastic job and went the extra mile to make sure everything was done to manufacturer's specs. The communication was great as well & Greg came out for a final inspection to make sure all was good.

Jensen Exteriors was recommended to us by someone who does repairs for historical buildings. They were excellent to work with on our 1850's building: responsive to questions in a timely fashion, professional and courteous, and produced a beautiful finished roof.

I placed a review for Jensen on 8/9/22. Since then they have responded with no additional or helpful information on when my window will be replaced or installed. As of 8/9, I had no window installed and as of today (10/4), I STILL have no window and no information on the replacement status of my window. The estimate they provided at the beginning of August to get the window that THEY BROKE was 1-2 months. It is now October and there has been ZERO communication on when the window will be fixed or a scheduler calling to let me know when it will be installed.

Our contract with Jensen started in March 2022 and I will be shocked if I end up with a window before 2023 comes around. I will continue to review Jensen until I get my window. They are poor communicators, do not give priority to clients who have had long standing contracts (8 months now) and have offered nothing for the window delays that are due to their own staff damaging a brand new window.
We signed a contract with Jensen back in March. We were told our window wouldn't be completed until June due to the back ups and shortages, which is fine. Come July, we still hadn't heard about our window. We called and it turns out that the window had showed up in the middle of June and that the scheduler hadn't reached out yet to schedule a time. They said the scheduler would call us back. Another week went by, the scheduler still had not called us. After another week, we called again and finally got a couple dates for the window to be installed. A week before they were supposed to come out, they asked to reschedule since the original work crew was no longer available. That was close to the middle of July. Then we ask to schedule the installation again, we couldn't get ahold of the scheduler. When they finally called us, it was to inform us that our window had broken in their warehouse. It is now 8/9. I have no new window installed. I have no install date scheduled. I have no update on whether my "new" window has been fixed. No one at the office is calling me back. No one has offered to fix the problem. The only positive thing I can say about Jensen at this time is that their person that gives quotes is on time and good at what he does. At this point, I wouldn't recommend them to any one. They have poor communication, are negligent with their products and have no regard for their customers. Avoid them, go somewhere else.

The team at Jensen Exteriors were professional, courteous, and on time. Everyone was so easy to work with from getting a quote through project completion. They even finished my roof ahead of schedule. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

I would give a zero if that were an option. Hired Jensen Exteriors to install roof deck, sub-facia, and standing seam steel roof on brand new building based on reviews and the reputation of the original owner of Jensen Exteriors. Sadly, reliance on those turned out to be a mistake.
First and foremost, Jensen Exteriors does not do their own work and sub-contracts out. We didn't find out until well into the project and problems had already begun with the installation. Had we known this, we would have not hired them in the first place. There were significant communication issues, resulting in mistakes and a poor installation.

In the end: 1) the roof that was installed was not the correct roof system; 2) Jensen failed to order the correct length and was 2 inches short of full coverage; and 3) did not make sure their sub-contractor installed the roof to manufacturer specifications (which it wasn't). Jensen Exteriors has not accepted any responsibility for the errors and refuses to give a written warranty. ***WARNING.... if a company won't give you a written warranty, even though their website claims a "10 year warranty" DO NOT HIRE THEM.*** There is nothing to make them honor a verbal warranty. We were told our payment was proof and any warranty claim would be decided on a "case-by-case" basis. The other reviewers might not know they don't have a leg to stand on for this supposed "warranty" when Jensen Exteriors won't give a written one that clearly describes their policy. Now it is to the Contractor's Board and Court to force responsibility for incorrect materials and poor workmanship.

The saga, in a nutshell, is we ordered a specific roof system designed by the manufacturer for a low-slope flat roof, based on research of the roof manufacture's website. The first sign of trouble was the wrong underlayment being ordered by Jensen and installed by the sub-contractor during the "drying in" process (where the underlayment keeps the rain out until the permanent roof is installed). The underlayment failed immediately because it was not designed for our low slope pitch and the new building was totally flooded and saturated with rain. Jensen was notified it was the wrong underlayment and had failed. Jensen did nothing to correct the issue, instead pushing back and request we hire another company. Of course we didn't break the contract and expected Jensen to remain professional and complete the work. We ended up putting up a massive tarp ourselves to keep the rain out until the roof was installed weeks later.

Then the new roof materials were delivered and we became aware Jensen ordered a roof system different than what we requested and that is not designed to work on our low-pitched roof. We really should have refused the materials and made Jensen reorder the correct system. Our mistake!! Instead, we contacted the manufacturer directly to verify the roof Jensen ordered was not a good roof for our situation, which the manufacturer confirmed, and that was communicated again to Jensen via the sub-contractor. However, the manufacturer gave us details on a way to remediate the wrong roof system and make it work. Our condition to have the roof Jensen ordered installed was the manufacturer's remediation techniques be followed completely. We even had the sub-contractor speak to the manufacturer directly. At the time we were unaware Jensen ordered the materials 2 inches too short and the new roof didn't fully cover the roof deck!! (the sub-contractor convinced us they had a way to make it work). Long story short, those specific installation techniques were not followed and we didn't find out until the roof was 98% complete. Fortunately, we have photo, video, and audio recordings of everything that transpired, so when Jensen decides to make claims of ignorance, we can refute them with evidence.

If you want to deal with a company that refuses to accept responsibility for their mistakes and the quality of their sub-contractors, never apologizes, and then won't provide a written warranty; by all means hire this company.

Did a great job on our standing seam metal roof. The crew was super efficient and had it done in two days. Make sure when you get your roof done that all the necessary vents are reconnected properly.

They came out promptly, were very fast, and did the rather difficult job of re-roofing our house and garage well

A total contrast to our original contractor! After being ripped off for a sizeable down payment on another big contracting firm, Jensen finished the job beautifully ahead of schedule and with no down payment! They installed Hardiplank siding, and coordinated seamlessly with our window contractor. We will definitely be calling them when it's time for a new roof!

I love my roof and am very happy with the finished project--shingles are "Summer Harvest". Overall, there were moments when communication and updates could have been better, but, in the end, I would recommend (and have recommended) Jensen Exteriors to those interested in their services. :-)

In Salem Or - Jensen Exteriors recently removed my 20 year old fiber cement house siding which was failing due to a sloppy original installation - and installed new vapor seal and new hardie board siding - first class installation included paint. Absolutely no question I would hire them again - great job thanks Jensen Exteriors!!

Took 7 months to complete a 1 week job. Never showed up when scheduled. Ordered wrong color material for the job. Faulty workmanship. Inferior low quality material. Installed the wrong skylights. Never cleaned up and left a mess. Would not honor warranty - would not return to fix the roof leak. Installed the wrong color fireplace rubber. The representative flat out lied to me to get the job and then continued to lie throughout the 7 months that I waited for the job to complete. Promised to build me a shed for all of my problems and long wait time but never showed up to do it. I would stay away from Jensen Exterior and Glen Hayden at all costs!!! The worst service I have ever had!!

I had a wonderful experience with Jensen Exteriors. I had received a bid from another company that was very high. The man from Jensen went up into my attic with his Go-Pro camera and showed me that the mold problem that the other company claimed was a big problem was very minimal. He gave me a very fair bid and I chose to go with Jensen. They had the job done in a day and a half. They cleaned up so well after taking off the original roof.
