After the flooding in October 2015, I needed to completely replace my entire HVAC system. I was referred to Jeff Brown, and worked with his son, John. John was very helpful throughout the process (even met with the flood insurance adjuster). Because of how helpful John was, I was willing to pay 10-15% more for the job than I could have spent with other companies that did estimates. By all accounts, John and his crew did excellent work. However, I made the mistake of paying the full balance for the work they did before it was 100% finished. There was still quite a bit of debris in the yard that they were supposed to clean up. Most of it was cleaned up by another company I had doing some other work, even though it wasn't their responsibility. But, there was still some left. After some prodding, John came over about 2 months after I had paid, and picked up some more of the debris, but still left a 10 foot section of ductwork, and a small pile of bricks in my yard. After 2 more months of reaching out, the rest of the debris was never removed, so I took care of it myself.

Although they did very good work, if you are going to use John and his crew for HVAC work, I would advise against paying them until the job is 100% done. That is probably a Homeowners 101 lesson, but based on my dealings with John, I expected more.
