We hired Jakari Restoration to upgrade the exterior of our house to bring it up to the present.

A little background. Our house was built in '99 and the builder decided to use a cardboard like material adhered to some type of "thin" insulation to wrap the house in and then nail the original siding to it and call it good. Most of our neighborhood was built like that and insulation was also missing from part the house where there should have been some.

Fast forward to the present. We wanted to replace our siding that was long overdue and the original siding was in different shade as we had to replace some siding throughout the years due to some windstorms.

Jakari offered two options and provided a detail explanation as to what each option would entail. Lukas and Dan were extremely easy to work with. Their professionalism, knowledge and no pressure advice were a welcome sight of relief for a change. James (foreman) and his crew were amazing and I was impressed by their skills and they were efficient on the job.

We were kept appraised on a daily basis and if we had any questions, we could easily just text one of them and receive a response within minutes. Like any renovations, there's always unknowns and something unexpected may occur. Ours was no exception, but we were able to quickly resolve the issues and kept moving on with minor delays.

We decided to have Jakari install the missing insulation to include the garage since all the siding was off the house. They also wrap our house with plywood to replace the cardboard like wrap that was there, wrap the plywood with a layer of protective wrap and then install the new siding on top of all that.

All our windows went through a "packout" where they were framed to match the house. The house no longer goes through the hot and cold changes according to the temperature outside, the noise from outside has been substantially reduced and we no longer are worried that our siding would rip away during a high wind day or windstorm.

We are extremely happy with the results and they deserve the 5 stars. Jakari is amazing to work with and you would be crazy not to hire them for your housing needs!!! They are the ones we are going to for our next project in a couple of years.

First Class Company. They installed asphalt shingles on my entire roof including replacing the plywood. This unplanned portion of the project did not delay completion. The crew worked very quickly and hard, and their clean-up was very satisfactory. Frank kept me informed every step though-out the project. His follow-up was very appreciative. Also, the company replaced the gutters on the back of my house. Excellent work and I would recommend them.

I was very impressed with the service and quality the Jakari team provided. We needed all of our siding as well as the metal bonnet roof on our box bay windows replaced due to hail damage. They also inspected the roof shingles (which did not need replacement, but which they sealed better) and addressed two ceiling areas with water damage. He did all the legwork to insure that our claim was processed correctly, and when the Day of the New Roof came around, he was on site alongside the actual roofers, checking their work and then helping with cleanup at the end. Delivery of the shingles was a fast process, with minimal disturbance. The roofers themselves were efficient, very respectful of our property and thorough in the removal of all trash and debris. It was a beautiful process to see how well they worked together!
Since then, we have had one massive storm, and our new, high quality roof held tight with no leaks, and nothing blown loose.

Can not say enough good things about Jakari! Would give them 100+ stars if I could.
Kyle was amazing! He went above and beyond. He made the process effortless, easy, and is very straightforward. Most importantly, HE GETS BACK TO YOU! Not tomorrow or 3 weeks from now. I think the longest I had to wait with a text was 10 min. It was almost always immediately after I had asked him something. He always checked in, verified what we wanted, made sure we were happy, and kept us up to date on the process.

The installation was professional and fast, but not too fast. They paid attention to every little detail, so it turned out perfectly! They ran into some obstacles (unforseen water damage, unlevel doorway...) and took the time to actually FIX the problem, not hide it like other companies would do. It's really nice being given that peace of mind.

This review is short, compared to the reality of how wonderful this company is. I can't wait until probably next year, so we can have them install new windows on the back of our house.

One more thing: I forgot to mention what we had done.
New roof, siding completely replaced, boards removed, new gutters, soffit and rakes, new skylights, and a new back door. I think that's it.

Quoted $800 then $450 minimum labor charge to replace one ridge shingle on a first story ridge.
These people are taking advantage of nieve homeowners.
I worked in construction. It's a 15 minute job from arrival to departure at most.
If you want to be a victim of this type of overcharge, be my guest. I can guarantee you nobody who left all these positive reviews has ever worked in construction and knows the task they are paying for.

Extremely professional and pleasant company. They were helpful in dealing with the insurance company and patient with payments as the insurance process preceeded.

We had water damage in the home inherited from our parents. Found out there was a hole in the roof and other storm damage. Called several roofers, of the ones that actually showed up- 3 of them wanted to replace the entire roof, and would not consider doing a repair. When I called Jakari, the administrative assistant took my information and details and gave me an appointment. When Frank Koppa showed up at the appointment (after actually confirming with me) he actually went up on the outside and walked the roof, checking the entire surface. Then he went up into the attic to look at the underside. I interviewed 4 other companies and he was one of the only 2 who actually looked both inside and out. He was respectful, and knowledgeable and he took time to explain what my options were and his recommendations. I had to go through my home owner's insurance and Frank actually came to do the assessment with my insurance adjuster. He was a Godsend as I had never needed to submit a claim before, and was unsure of the process. He was patient and walked me through every step. Some repairs not covered by insurance, we agreed needed doing. We were able to set up a payment plan so the work could be completed all at once. They were able to start quickly as we were looking at a storm approaching. The exterior -siding and parts of the overhang were done quite well. The siding was patched and it is very difficult to see where the work was done. I was not present for the exterior work, but Frank called and texted me with updates and pictures. It was very reassuring. The interior work was done by their subcontractors who were also very polite, punctual and hard working. There was a lot of stuff to work around -( my parents lived there 30 years and the clean out was slow to progress) but they managed and put things back in order when they finished. The two room repairs were finished in one day and the results were seamless. The work was completed, they submitted the documents to insurance. I was making payments as agreed and then I got COVID. (for the second time-
My first bout of COVID took about 5-6 months for me to get back to work at a very reduced schedule.) This time, It took about 2 months for me to get back to work and I missed the payments as agreed. I do not have benefits at work. The company manager was understanding has allowed me to make catch up payments.
I have taken time to make this detailed review as home repairs are costly and some companies take advantage. I'm glad I was able to shop around for comparison. Hopefully this review will help someone else. I believe this is a good company that does good work at a fair price. I feel blessed to have discovered them and think anyone needing repairs should check them out. I only wished they had been my first call.

I have used Jakari on 2 occasions. The first time they consulted me about my siding and hail damage. They worked very hard to help get my insurance to cover damages and worked closely with me to insure that I received the most possible back from my insurance company. Their team of very professional and polite workers were timely, clean and did tremendous work in their detail. The second job was replacing all the windows in the front of my house. There were 5 on 2 levels. The team that was assigned was also very polite, clean and timely. They cleaned up after themselves and did an excellent job with the replacement. Frank Kopa assisted me with all the projects and I could not be happier with his responsiveness and professionalism. The manager Brian also assisted me in addition to Frank and both were very helpful and insightful about questions I had and in making decisions about their products. I initially called my insurance company to have the roof checked due to a minor leak noticed. After they sent their company out to investigate, it was determined that I was due half my roof for repair. I contacted Frank Kopa and he came out to inspect the roof. Frank and his team noticed more issues than the insurance company discovered. They then worked with my insurance company to re-inspect and provide an amended determination. This resulted in my 17-year roof being replaced completely. Frank and his team were professional and informative through every step. Once accepted, the work was scheduled and completed promptly. He also went above and beyond when I asked for skylights on the day of installation. The job started at 7 A.M. and he ensured the skylights were installed that day. I highly recommend this company. We were extremely happy with our experience with Jakari Restoration.

They were working on a roof next door and we knew we should be thinking about replacing ours due to age and storms. Frank was there checking on that roof and we spoke to him about ours.

A few days later, he went up on our roof, took a number of photographs of things that he saw that were caused by hail. He worked up an estimate and sat down with us to give us an estimate for the job. He showed us a breakdown of the cost, and a wide variety of different shingle colors. He even showed us what it would look like with those new colors in a photograph.

After submitting the estimate and photographs to our insurance, we were told that it would be covered. We gave Frank the go ahead for the roof. He had the shingles delivered within that week and the crew came to put the roof on 3 days later.

The crew that was assigned to put on the roof were there bright and early. They worked hard until 10:00 pm through some of the hottest temperatures of the year. Frank stopped by and took photographs throughout the day. They said it would be finished that day, and they didn’t stop until it was. They finished in the dark, but still made sure that things were cleaned up, and the magnet roller was used to pick up all of the nails in the yard.

Frank came by the next day to be sure we were satisfied with the work and show us the photographs of the new roof. He said that it was worse than he could tell originally, but the plywood that was rotten was replaced and the roof was done.

I would highly recommend this company! Frank made the process easy by being so responsive, and patient.

Jakari saved me from disaster! Bought a home one year ago and my roof was missing some shingles. I was planning on hiring someone to repair them. Frank from Jakari stopped over and inspected my roof and I was missing well over 30 shingles. He advised me to call my homeowners insurance company, which it never crossed my mind to do, and they paid for my entire roof! I owe Frank and Jakari a lot for seeing this through. They identified hail damage on both our aluminum siding and our roof, worked with our insurance in getting full replacement for both and did a great job!! We encountered some difficulties as the new roof shingles did not lay down properly. Brian, the owner of JAKARI, contacted the manufacturer and after a period of time when the shingles still were not satisfactory Brian said he would replace the entire new roof at his own expense. He kept his word! (I believe the manufacturer did agree to reimburse JAKARI for the first set of shingles after they tested some of the shingles and found them unsatisfactory.) We now have a fabulous new roof and beautiful new siding and gutters, basically a new house! You know a company's quality by the way they stand behind their commitment. Fall of 2021 I was in need of a new roof as there were leaks in the porch. The Jakari team was most efficient and their customer service was exceptional. On September 3 Mike went over the contract with me line-by-line and then contacted my insurance at the same time. September 7, Mike and the insurance adjuster walked the roof, identified recent hail damage. October 13 the HOA application was approved. October 15, the day of the install they were all business, protective covering the windows on the back porch and front shrubs. Finished same day and cleaned up before leaving. Mike came back a couple more times just to be sure everything was ok. I highly recommend Jakari Restoration & Construction.

I worked with Mike Jones. He stopped by the house after a storm which had damaged some of our old metal siding. Mike got on the phone with the insurance company and myself and walked them through the entire situation. Mike took the pictures and sent them to the insurance. All I had to do was coordinate the install with Mike and choose everything. He handled everything with the insurance company and it was awesome. The install was awesome and they did a great job. Mike Jones and Cameron are just amazing team, these guys showed up at my door after the strom right before the pandemic and helped me identify the damage on my siding. They followed through the plan inspite of the supply chain issues and got the siding installed on my home and followed the work to completion to my total satisfaction. JAKARI took up the claim with insurance and were stubborn with agents eventually getting the claim approved, I was impressed with the dedication and meticulous work ethic these gentlemen exemplified. They even came back after a few months to fix minor issues which was out of their scope of work when my bathroom bathtub water stated leaking and totally patched up the interior. There has not been a single issue from gutters or siding that these guys installed. The low E wrap is helping save energy costs, glad I listened to Micheal Jones. I would recommend these folks to anyone looking for roofing or siding based on my experience. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Jakari replaced both our roof and siding after a wind/hail storm. Mike, the project manager, helped with the insurance claim, was responsive to all of our requests, and kept in close communication with us throughout the process. They did a high quality job with excellent attention to details like the trim on the columns, over the garage and windows.
