A very reliable and confident contractor who takes the anxiety out of home improvement and repairs. Rob and his staff have been doing work in my home for over 10 years and I will continue to use their services far into the future. Living in an older stone house has involved some complicated repairs and restorations unfamiliar to contractors who solely work in newer homes. Inter County approaches each repair and renovation carefully and with thought so that newer problems do not arise. They are affordable and timely and have provided services including: carpentry, painting, tiling, masonry, installation, roofing and landscaping in my home. I strongly recommend their services.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review for Inter County Contracting. Rob, the owner of the company, is the most caring, sincere, knowledgeable, fair and honest person in the business. I have been using Rob's company for the last 5 years, and I hope to use his company for the next 50. As a building manager, I have encountered every sort of problem that you can imagine. Whether it is roof repairs or replacement to flat, asphalt shingle or slate roofs, re-pointing of brick walls, asphalt blacktop repairs, replacement of elevator tiles, painting, aluminum capping installation above garages, attic insulation, installation of a paving stone wall, Rob has never let me down. Rob once ran his own brand new house generator which was hooked up to his home during a blackout, and delivered it to my Super in White Plains because the boiler room filled with water and was in emergency need of being pumped out. I can go on and on.

My wife and I have had Inter County Contracting Inc. complete nemerous renovations on our home including adding a second floor to our one story home including a master bedroom, master bath and walk in closet. Previously we had Inter County do a complete renovation of our kitchen. All of the work was done both in a timely manner and with a high level of craftsmenship. We also had Inter County construct a deck around our above ground pool and perform some drainage and waterproofing of our rear foundation to eliminate flooding which we were experiencing in our basement. Again, we were very staisfied with the workmanship and professionalism that Inter County brought to the our home.

As the former president of a large homeowners' association and a homeowner, I have worked with many contractors on all aspects of buildings and residences. I can say with full confidence that Rob and his team are among the best. They respond quickly, have the expertise to do a wide range of jobs well, are conscientious and flexible, correct anything I may want done differently, and are competitively priced. Rob walks the job and will (if you want) discuss detailed technical alternatives. I like to interact with his guys and appreciate that I'm able to, saving time and further insuring that jobs are done to my satisfaction.

Terrible, Useless, Disorganized, and on top of that, really had a incredibly hard time communicating with the 'estimator' 'Denny' they sent. It felt like he barely spoke English. he kept calling me by the wrong name. I was unhappy with every aspect of the process. I do not recommend their service. Utterly useless and shoud be investigated by the Better Business Bureau.
