John, project manager, representing I&E Construction Company helped us with our home damage as a result of the March 14 storm in the St. Louis and surrounding area. We had quite a bit of damage on our home: roof, siding, gutters and garage doors. John has been extremely helpful with contacting our insurance company which very promptly sent out an adjuster. Before that John initially climbed on our roof as well as walked around the entire house to assess the damage himself. John has been on top of things in regard to the situation, answered all of our questions and made follow up phone calls. John represents I&E well and is very professional.

We’re so glad we had John Robinson on our side. He helped deal with the insurance company and made sure we got everything covered. Top-quality work and a smooth process.

I and e roofing for some repair work for us after the recent storm. They tarp the roof to keep from further damages and storms came in over the next couple of days. And then as soon as possible they did the repair work. Cosmetically the repair looks perfect. The cost was very reasonable, with no pressure whatsoever. The representative who we worked with Kyle was friendly helpful, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this company for any work that needs to be done.

Cesar and Jalen were super responsive when we contacted I&E to help us with tornado damage. They came out numerous times to make sure our roof and other areas of our home were protected while waiting for our insurance claim to be processed. We're looking forward to our new roof and siding! My interaction with I&E occurred the morning after the storm. I saw Rob walking around our neighborhood and showed him a quick picture of Soffitt damage from the storm. He took a look and told me if it was what he thought, he'd fix it at no cost( resetting the soffit with a nail). He did that and checked my roof and sent me an update text when he was finished. He was kind, honest, and did what he said he would do. Thank you!

Rob was outstanding!! Called him today, of course he was busy because of severe storms and weather last night. We were in no urgent hurry, but he called and said he’d stop by since it was in his way home. He came and looked and assessed the damage. He was honest and said it didn’t look like a whole lot, but he got upon the roof and was able to tack the flashing and some shingles back down. Saved us a lot of money and did mention that that section needed replaced but didn’t think we needed a whole new roof or anything to file a claim on. So we will probably be calling him back to fix it for good. Just needed reassurance from the rain tonight that no leaks will happen. 5 stars all the way.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with I&E Construction, and I feel it’s important to share my story so others can avoid similar issues.

After purchasing my home, I quickly discovered several major construction problems that were missed during inspections. The first red flag appeared during a heavy rainstorm when I noticed leaks in my office. I contacted I&E Construction and was assigned Project Manager Ryan, but his handling of the situation was disappointing. It took him a long time to come up with a solution, and the drip edges he installed were done incorrectly. I paid $500 via Venmo (which felt unprofessional), but after the next rainstorm, the leaks persisted.

When I tried to follow up with Ryan, it took him two weeks to get back to me. Even after he finally attempted repairs, the leaks continued. Frustrated, I filed a formal complaint, and a few months later, I was assigned a new project manager, Chris. He was more responsive and suggested that the siding could be the issue. However, after weeks of waiting, a contractor arrived to work on the siding without Chris being present, which led to communication issues due to the contractor’s language barrier.

The leaks didn’t stop and eventually spread to my kitchen. I reached out to I&E again, only to find out that Chris had left the company. I was then assigned yet another project manager, Eric, who conducted an inspection and quoted me $2,800 for roof repairs, claiming the roof was the source of the leaks. This was in addition to the $1,500 I had already paid for drip edges and siding.

After six months of delays, ineffective fixes, and ongoing problems, I can’t recommend I&E Construction. This process has been incredibly frustrating, and I am still waiting for a proper resolution.

Edit: I decided to go with another roofing company.

Wonderful experience with this company. They replaced siding on one of our rental houses. They responded quickly to all communications. They used a computer model so show us what our house would look like with different siding colors. Their price beat other bids. Their staff inspire confidence and are service oriented. They gave us a time estimate for the project and then beat it. They communicated in Spanish with our tenants to let them know what to expect before the project began. The finished project looks great. I will use them again for our future siding and roofing needs.

Everyone I had contact with did a fine job, from the initial meeting with the I&E rep to the installers. They all did a fine job and I will use them again if the need arises.

Construction workers arrived early and stayed late, getting both my high pitched roof and garage re-roofed in not great weather in just a couple of days. They cleaned up the yard and patio better than they found it. I would highly recommend I&E Construction.

We had to wait several months for shingles to come in by train but the crew was very knowledgeable and fast. Love the color.

When I & E Construction found out about the terrible incident and was also informed that we needed a new roof by officers f, they stepped up offering their services to my family taking the home repair burden off of us so that we could grieve. All around great experience! The different crews were personable and professional. The estimaters and sales people answered all of my questions. And most importantly for me either answered my calls or called me back promptly.

Coltan was very quick to respond to my text message and was out to my house that same afternoon.He was courteous and professional. He thoroughly explained the repairs he was going to do. He completed the job and provided me with pictures of the work he had done. Everything looked great once the job was completed. I would definitely recommend Coltan and I&E Roofing & Construction.

After living in our house just a few months, we noticed leaking from the wall in the recent storms. We couldn’t figure out where it was coming from but knew we needed it fixed asap. We called I & E on Tuesday, Jon got to us on Wednesday, found the source of our exterior leak, and had it fixed quickly and easily. So glad we don’t have to worry with the upcoming weather predicting rain and that it was fixed so promptly. Jon was great to work with!

We are very pleased with the services rendered to date in helping us secure a new roof for our home in light of the hail damage from several storms. The account representative (Jalen Jenkins) has kept us informed and provided the necessary information to order materials to restore our home back to its original look. After seeing the "siding matching" that was done on some of my neighbors houses after their having been repaired following the hail storm last year, I was super nervous! But my project manager Jon reassured me that mine would be great. And it is! The color matches perfectly and my roof looks fantastic! I & E has was great with communication, patient with my anxieties and the whole process was quick and painless. I highly recommend them!

Jon arrived on time and inspected our shingles, flashing, and chimney for signs of water entry. He reviewed multiple photos with me, and did not identify a defect. He suggested contacting a masonry company to apply a brick sealant and he applied caulking to a few flashing spots. Jon outlined what would be the next diagnostic steps if there is further evidence of interior water entry. I was most impressed with his consultation and will call I&E for my next shingle replacement

Eric was very reliable, prompt and congenial. Very upfront fair price. The crew were great and fast! Would use these guys exclusively.

My experience with I&E Construction has been the best I could have hoped for due to damage to my roof and gutters due to a hail storm.
I had no previous experience with having to file a claim and Eddie made the entire process so much easier to navigate! I felt at ease after our first meeting as he explained the entire process from start to finish! He communicated every step of the way and was there to oversee the replacement of all necessary items. I am very happy with the installation and customer service.

I&E Construction (Sean & Eddie) came out to check on why my gutters might be clogged. I had gotten new gutter guards from them last year. They came out a few days ago just to check the roof after having it installed by them last fall. They made a special trip to come & investigate the clogging problem - they found the problem! Pine needles at the top of the downspout - alot!! They cleared the problem & wouldn't take anything for making that special trip or fixing my problem!! Sean & Eddie were so nice! I have been so pleased with this company since they put my roof on & will continue to sing their praises! Awesome customer service & excellent quality work!! I would recommend them in a heartbeat! Thank you for putting an old girl's worries to bed!

Logan with I &E construction made our process easy and streamlined. They gave a free roof inspection, found hail damage, and helped with the insurance inspection. Once approved they took care of the. They even pushed for a quicker install so we could get our pool open for summer. Would definitely recommend as their pricing was fair and they did a great job. Curtis’ professionalism is second to none. He was patient, courteous and very knowledgeable. My wife and I were new to filing an insurance claim for hail damage to our roof. I & E is definitely going to be my go to for future roofing projects.

Yesterday 4/16 we came home to a tree fallen on the corner of our home. The tree ripped off gutters and fascia boards plus about 20 feet of soffit and multiple holes from the limbs, outside was now inside. So we gave I&E construction a call and within 30 minutes they had Curtis their sales manager on it and within a hour and a half they had a crew at my house with an emergency tarp to make sure my family was safe from the rain and elements. I also want to give a shout out to their crew I don't know the gentleman's name but that poor man was up on my roof in the pouring rain securing the emergency tarp down, so if you are looking for good, reputable company look no further. They will get any future business I have and if anyone asks I will be sending them their way.

The best experience I have ever had with a roofing company!! They make everything so easy and seamless, I truly couldn't have worked with anyone better. 10/10 recommend they helped from beginning to end!
