I recently had some water damage in my house and contracted with Idaho Fire and Flood. The crew was very friendly and professional. They all did a great job. Special shout out to Rowan with the deconstruction and Mac the project manager for reconstructing along with Mike and Thomas. Appreciated a job well done .

I highly don’t recommend these guys. I had a fire in my kitchen in the month of June 2024. It is now October 2024 and the only thing they have absolutely did in the whole kitchen is painted. They left my wire sticking out above my stove where I had, my fan never came and installed anything. . I have missed so many days of work waiting for them when they make appointments and not even showing up nor can they even return a phone call saying they’re not gonna make it there .I have called for months on end asking if they’re gonna finish up the work no one will return my phone calls. Oh, but don’t forget I get an invoice asking for a pay when they haven’t did nothing but paint my kitchen I don’t know if all these five stars that they have received our purchase stars, but this is a true experience I’ve had with them don’t waste your time on this company. Find a company who truly cares and wants to take care of you not just receive your Insurance. money.

Awesome people to work with. They work to meet your needs and with you. Brett and Aaron are what you call customer oriented. They look after their customers. They aren’t some greedy prideful businessmen. They are honest and I believe that’s why their company is blessed and thriving. I recommend this company.

Brett has been super helpful with trying to get my insurance to cover the repairs (they still won't, but not for lack of massive effort on Brett's side). He worked to get the most cost effective solution to fix the damages and has been really helpful, kind and understanding. I appreciate his help and care during a very stressful time. Repairs are still ongoing, I will be so glad to get this completed.

The service crew was very prompt to arrive on a weekend to take care of our basement water leak. Bret made sure we had enough fans, and that carpet covers were placed to keep any dirt off the carpet when they went up and down the stairs. They did a great job getting things dried out quickly.

Professional work done by professional people. Our basement flooded due to an old pipe that burst and Bret and his team really saved us. Luckily their emergency response was a key to prevent any mold and the bill with it. Thank you!

After a microburst knocked our 45 ft pine tree onto our fence and 2 weeks of calling 5 different companies and waiting for responses, these guys finally showed up on my radar. I just needed an insurace quote. The tree fell in the street so the top half and all brances were cleaned up within the first few hours. One of the tree removal companies said they can't give me a quote if the tree is already down. I was afraid that every company had that same outlook, but thank heavens, these guys proved me wrong! They scheduled someone to come out a couple of days after that initial call - but I had been stood up by 2 companies before, so I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up and did all the legwork! I will 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone and while I hope I never need this type of help again, they'll be my first call when it does! Thank you ID Fire & Flood!!!

Edit to post: I guess hindsight is valuable. While the company didn't do anything 'bad' or 'wrong' I definitely will warn others that I feel their costs and estimates were GREATLY over-exaggerated and over-priced. Their fee, consisted of their estimate, writing it up and sending it in to the insurance company. But then I had to send it in myself, because INS (insurance) never recieved anything and then INS kept asking me what everything meant. I even said, "Can't you just ask them (IDFF)?" And INS response was "We aren't allowed to go through 'middle men'." Then what did I pay $500 dollars for? Why was the fee so high if I still had to do all the work? And when the estimators were here, they gave me an initial estimate which put me on the fence of whether or not to continue with the claim. They said they'd go back to the office and lock in numbers and the final estimate they sent me was almost double than the initial! So, of COURSE I'm going to file a claim! Ended up fighting with INS over a 6 month period to only end up with 1/4 of the final estimate and a little over 1/2 the initial. Not sure if that's their angle, but while I feel I got the short end of the stick; I made all the choices and in the end can only blame myself. I would still recommend the company, but would definitely warn others of my experience first and save these guys as a last resort... ‍♀️

Awesome service from these wonderful people. Our AC unit went down in the middle of a heat wave. These guys came, evaluated the situation, and was able to help with quotes for repair services. They also provided a temporary AC unit until we were able to make repairs. Im thankful for the level of care and understanding they had for our situation. My family and I thank you!!!

Idaho Fire and Flood did a great job on the initial repair. However, when we needed one follow-up visit for a portion of the repaired floorboard that came separated from the wall, things got weird. I played phone tag with Mike and Jessie for months and then was told someone new was in charge who I also never heard back from. Floorboard is separated from the wall to this day, two years later. Can’t say I would recommend them even though the initial repair was very good. The follow-up is atrocious.

We are happy with the repair work performed by Idaho Fire & Flood. Dakota did an amazing job installing the trim & painting.

Do not recommend. Very poor customer service and communication.
I had a large tree limb fall on our house and damage our roof. When they first came, the guy was very professional. He looked at the roof, took pictures, communicated well. He told me he would submit them to insurance and be in touch. The next day, I call him and he tells me he is in Boise for the day. I ask about the tree limb being removed because it’s still on my house. He tells me he will get it taken care of. I text him and call him again later in the afternoon. No word. Radio silence from his end. The next morning I call and text again. All I get was a message that he would call me back. It is almost the end of day and an extremely big tree limb is still on my roof. He never submitted anything to insurance and waisted my time. I could have been working with a different company to resolve this issue instead of waiting for him to contract the work out then ghost me.

Mike and team were awesome in returning my flooded basement back to normal. Very easy to work with. Highly recommended.

After our parent’s house caught fire which required a complete reconstruction of the inside, our family selected Idaho Fire & Flood for the content and structure restoration. They have the equipment and expertise to perform the specialized mitigation, remediation, and cleaning work in-house without relying fully on sub-contractors, and have been superb in guiding us through the entire process.

We are grateful to Mason Klinger and his teams for the outstanding, quality work that they did and for coordinating with homeowners insurance to assure that all the financial aspects were taken care of. Darren West was very patient and sensitive with our family as he headed up his team with the removal, cleaning and disposal of the fire and smoke-damaged content. He was willing to stay in contact by phone and meet with us after hours and on weekends, which we really appreciated since we live out of town.

Brett McGhie and team quickly and efficiently took care of testing for and removing asbestos, gutting the house, and treating the house structure to remove all smoke damage. He and Ben kept us informed and educated on the entire process.

Ben Hillman, and later, Mike Allen directed the restoration team. With Ben’s vision and an eye for integrating style and color, we were able to modernize the layout for today’s family, with an appealing style and design. He patiently helped us with many decisions as he explained the options he thought would work together and brought samples in. Mike’s craftsmanship in rebuilding the house, including custom cabinetry, brought together a quality build with a cohesive, flowing look throughout the house. He was instrumental in bringing the project to a close, even through the challenges such as supply chain issues that the covid pandemic brought on.

We are deeply appreciative of all that Idaho Fire and Flood did to turn a tragedy into many silver linings for our family. We could not have done this without them.

You never want to have flood damage, but when it happens make sure to contact these guys. I called them first thing in the morning when I realized my basement was flooded, within the hour the team showed up and was removing all the water. They were quick, efficient, and very knowledgable. The billing department was amazing, this was an out of pocket expense for me so I really appreciate that they were willing to even give me a discount.

Were able to come last minute and clean up after a water had leaked through our ceiling into our basement from a faucet leak. They were very professional and responsive. I highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. A+

Idaho Fire and Flood Restoration came to us in the middle of 12/19 after a texting teenager ran his vehicle up over the curb and across our lawn, embedding himself firmly into the corner of our garage. While he simply walked away from the aftermath of his actions, our challenges were just beginning. Couldn't get car out of the garage, cold winter air poured into garage. Husband was undergoing chemo. Stressful time. Idaho F&F responded the same day of our initial phone call and wrestled the garage door open. Car was freed, the door wrestled closed (which left the car out in the snow and ice, but at least usable!). A few days later, the repair work began ... in December's cold and snow. Some days of delay due to weather from time to time, but that crew came back as soon as possible. The damage was severe, more than can be told here. Suffice to say that Ben and crew were more than professional. Polite, empathetic, prompt and just plain excellent in comportment and quality of work. I truly can't say enough about the people who are this company, and would highly recommend them to you, dear reader, with confidence. Thank you, Ben and wonderful crew ... it was a REAL pleasure knowing you, and you are much appreciated.

I've had two floods in the past two years, one was from vandalism.

Both times communication was great. Remediation and repairs for the second flood went extremely smooth, and they went well above the scope of work to help me get back into my home.

Hopefully I won't have to call for a 3rd time, but they will be my first call if I do

We had a great experience despite the water damage. Ben came with his crew and really put us at ease. They came in and took care of everything! They went the extra mile making sure things were put back to 100%. I have severe allergies to latex paint and they help make arrangements for us to be set up in a hotel. Not an easy task with Covid! We definitely would recommend Idaho Fire and Flood!!!

These guys got right to my problem of having a water leak and cleaned up the mold that had started to grow. They were fabulous in dealing with the homeowner and got everything cleaned up and taken care of very quickly. Highly recommend them!

After a strong windstorm removed and damaged numerous areas on our roof we got in contact with Ben from Idaho Fire and Flood. Ben was very meticulous as he went through our roof, attic, and rooms checking for damage. His assessment was amazing and when the insurance gave us fits he stepped in to make sure they did their part. He didn't have to do any more than he did. The fact that he did shows his dedication to his customers. On top of that the roof replacement was quick and professional and well done. Highly recommended!

After severe wind damage to our roof Ben came in to give an assessment and evaluation of the damages. His work was extremely thorough and professional. He spent countless hours getting together the proper information for the insurance. Unfortunately the insurance did not cooperate but Ben did not stop there. He went above and beyond even the most reasonable expectation to make sure that our situation was taken care of. He went to bat for us and worked tirelessly with the insurance company until they finally met their obligation. Ben got his contractors together and did an outstanding job of putting everything back together. This was our first experience with a restoration company and the folks at Idaho Fire and Flood helped us greatly during a tough time. We had a small leak that distributed water damage to two bathrooms during Christmas season. Through mitigation the team was in communication with our insurance company getting the claim approved. Then Ben and his crew went to work. The demo guys worked solid for two days gutting out the bathrooms I didn't get their names they were too busy. Then Carl (a tile artist), Skyler, Dee, Damion, Eric and son (sorry i didn't catch his name, tall fella though) went to work. The service from the team was exemplary. They knew what they were doing and they got the job done! You will never regret going with Idaho Fire and Flood restoration!

We love this company. We had a leak from a upstairs bathroom in to a downstairs bathroom that insurance wouldn't cover. They worked with us to keep up us informed and within budget. Every employee I met was highly professional, knowledgeable, and I felt I could trust them in my home. We love our new bathrooms and would absolutely recommend this company to anyone.

My home in the hills outside of Tetonia was damaged recently by a violent hail storm and shortly after that ice and water damage to both the interior and exterior of the dwelling. My insurance company, USAA, put me in contact with you and through you I met Mr Cameron Bird who was assigned my claim. As it turned out the two claims overlapped and I was very concerned and a bit skeptical about certain aspects of the work that needed to be done. My home is very important to me. After a detailed explanation of the work that was required he assured me that he would give me one of the best contractors he knew of and that I would be very happy with his work. He did and I was.
The contractor, Mr Ben Hillman, walked me through the entire project and explained in detail what needed to be done and how he was going to do it. His confidence, expertise and attention to detail helped greatly to assure me that I would be happy with the end result. I was around a good part of the time the crews were working and was able to see for myself the effort put forth and the quality of their work. They all, the carpenters, painters, roofers and cleanup crews did a wonderful job and seemed to reflect Mr Hillman’s motto of “Do it once and do it right “.
I could go on and cite several instances of their exceptional efforts but I will just finish with this. The American work ethic is alive and well and at Idaho Fire and Flood. You should all be proud.

The men were individually polite, professional and personalble. If I might mention names I would like them to know we value getting to know them. Ben Hillman, project manager- made sure every detail was finished and we were satisfied. He went the extra mile as did Eric, Andre, Skylar, Damian & the flooring man. We love our new room!~! We had a house fire and we went through these guys for our home restoration. Every person that cane into our home was peofessional, knowledgable, and kind. From mitigation to the project manager. They answered all our questions and walked us through a crazy, emotional ordeal. In the end our home looks a lot better than before the fire. The project manager made sure all the work sone was perfect. He aimed to make it better than before and paid attention to all the details. The work done was beautiful. I would reccomend them. Having a house fire, especially when you have kids feels like your world is upside down. But these guys made our home beautiful to come back to.
