I can't say enough about my experience with Michael Jamison and his crew at ICY. What a breath of fresh air to do business with a contractor that is friendly, honest, knowledgeable and reliable! We really appreciated the quick yet comprehensive quote Michael sent us, the pricing was very fair. His crew was polite and efficient and did an EXCELLENT job as promised. Our projects were: A large amount of pressure washing...extensive driveway, stone retaining walls, exterior the house, front porch and deck including metal railing, and our split rail fence. Everything looked brand new when they were done. They also replaced a few rotten deck boards and painted the porch and deck and did a fabulous job. In areas where we had delicate stained cedar we didn't want disturbed, and a painted mural on the back chimney, they were careful to hand clean those areas without me having to worry or watch over the project. We will definitely call ICY for all future repairs and maintenance.

Thank you for the excellent service! Needed to get a door repaired. We have had MULTIPLE people try to repair this door so it would open and close and lock correctly and ALL of the people we called failed. This guy got the job done right! Thank you!

**BEWARE** Worst experience with contracting work! Please read my experience below, as I find it hard to believe now, that all of their reviews are real.

Michael was late to the first appointment and although the quote wasn’t the cheapest, I thought the reviews (which he mentioned multiple times) would render a good fit. He mentioned a 6 week wait, which wasn’t a problem and I signed the invoice to proceed. Six weeks later, having not heard anything from him, I reached out to get an update. He said they were working to us and he would update me soon. Two weeks later, I again reached out and was told this time it would be another 4 weeks. I reminded him that that was 6 weeks later than he first mentioned. The conversation ended and he called back apologizing saying he had read the schedule wrong and we were the next job, starting the next Monday. He said he would call on Sunday to schedule day and time. At 9:53pm he calls to let me know it wouldn’t be Monday but Tuesday and that his guys would be there. He previously mentioned that he would be doing the work. He ensured me that his guys would have all the information and there wouldn’t be any issues. They then proceeded to no show, no call Tuesday and Wednesday. A call to Michael after unreturned text messages lead to confirmation that they would be there Thursday. After my wife had scheduled to be home the previous three days, and couldn’t be there. After getting started I then received multiple texts saying Michael needed to speak with me urgently. Turns out the siding that matches my house that he ensured me he could get, was no longer in stock. This is after they removed all the boards. They then have to patch with mix matched siding. After getting home I go around to the work area and find that Michaels buddy had ripped boards off the wrong part of the house. They weren’t even addressing the correct location. When verifying the work order was correct and he was working in the wrong area, the guy tried to up-sale the specs of the job to just replacing all of the siding! Unbelievable. The finished work was subpar and will ultimately need to be corrected/replaced. Fast forward, I received no communication as to the completion of the job, I reached out to Michael 3 times. After finally contacting him and setting up a walk through, he no showed, no called. I then received an invoice via email. After finally rescheduling the walk through, Michael defended his work crew and again referenced all his reviews. When discussing final payment and the unsatisfactory work, Michael was very quick to threaten placing a lien on the house if it wasn’t paid in full.

This was a nightmare. Please be aware that this company is a joke and Michael is the most unprofessional contractor I’ve ever worked with. If you take a chance on them just be sure to budget for having someone else come fix their mistakes!!

I had ICY repair and roof-over a pergola. The result was better than expected. Great attention to detail and great communication. I’m planning to use them for future projects

Michael and his team were amazing. I utilized his services for my personal residence in East Cobb. Although it took a minute to get on his schedule, the repairs were done professionally and in a timely manner. Moreover, it was well worth the wait.

Shutters were replaced on my home. Work was well done. Repairman was very courteous and friendly. I will use this service again and recommend them to others.

Michael and his team are excellent. He was on-time, responsive and kind. I've had multiple people look at the chimney over the last two years and Michael is the only one who took the time to actually understand what was needed and did a great job repairing the chimney back to its original condition.

They built a custom frame under my storage shed / outdoor living space room and installed faux rock panels- custom cut to fit on an incline. They were responsive, communicative and offered a fair price for the work. They figured out the best way to do the project right for the long term and adjusted as they worked to make it perfect. It took more materials and longer time then they estimated in order to do the best job for this unique custom job and they didn’t try to charge me more or delay, they just did the job right! I’m very impressed by Mike and his team and plan to have him back for many more projects. They also expertly installed a 43” TV inside the shed.

I had them repair a 20" x 20" hole in the wall, and also build a new cabinet in the corner of my living room. The workmanship was incredible. They were able to match and blend the paint, so that you could not even tell that it was not originally built this way. Highly recommend them!!!

Hired Mike to fix some really thorny gutter/downspout/drainage issues. Had tried other fixes w/other handymen & drainage guys. Not really satisfactory. He came up with good ideas, implemented them and I think they're really going to improve our property. He also installed a grab bar in our shower, fixed a couple of doors and just generally took care of a covey of irritants we had been dealing with for months (years?). Can't recommend him highly enough.

Mike hanged two 40 inches Restoration Hardware metal frame mirrors in my living room.
He was very careful with my home décor, walls and placing his tools off the furniture.
Mike is very professional, friendly and arrived on time.
I am so lucky that I found him over the internet. I have been waiting for 3 months for my handyman to hang up these mirrors and thanks to Mike he got the job done.
