Customer feedback for I5 Exteriors is mixed. While several reviews praise the company's efficiency, quality of work, and excellent communication, others express significant dissatisfaction due to subpar subcontractors and lack of transparency regarding additional costs. While many customers report positive experiences and are likely to recommend the service, serious complaints about professionalism and project management overshadow some positive aspects. The balance of feedback suggests caution when considering their services, especially regarding subcontracted work.
- They worked fast, offered a fair price, and did an outstanding job.
- I5 Exteriors really knocked it out of the park on our home projects.
- The crew arrived ahead of schedule, completed the job in a single day, and ensured a tidy cleanup.
- It was a pleasure to work with I5, they delivered just as promised with the highest quality materials.
- Absolute professionals, I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
- I was surprised to learn afterward that I needed to hire another contractor for intake venting.
- The roofing work itself appears fine, but the overall experience fell short of my expectations.
- We realized we needed to replace the deck, but the work done was very unprofessional.
- Our project manager got arrested for driving a work truck while drunk.
- The subcontractor did a poor job.

I could not be more disappointed with this company. My father passed away late 2022, and I used some of the money he left to purchase my first home in early 2023. Shortly after, we realized we needed to replace the deck. I chose i5 Exteriors, Inc. because they had a 3 year craftsmanship warranty. Unbeknownst to me, they contracted out to a smaller local company to do the work, and that company was very unprofessional and did a poor job. We also failed to have a in depth inspection done by our i5 Exteriors project manager as he got arrested for driving a work truck while drunk around the same time. I paid $40,000 for the deck, and it is done sloppily and has areas that I am concerned will not hold up. After over a year of trying to call i5 to come fix it, I sent an email July 2024, and we eventually had a project manager come take a look in August 2024. He confirmed that the deck was built with poor craftsmanship and would need repairs. He took photos and notes and said he would order materials and get it fixed. However, it seems like everyone we talk to is either fired for trying to help customers like me, or quits because they do not want to be associated with this company. I called and called Charlie following this, and he finally had a guy come in October 2024, but he came alone and with no materials. I showed him the areas of concern and he did mere patch jobs, but it was all we could get at the time, so I told him he would need to come back with more people and materials to fully repair it. We continue to keep getting blown off and have no confidence that i5 will make this right. I spent $40,000 of my inheritance from my late father and over 1.5 years of frustration and disappointment on this company. Save yourself the money and time and hire a contractor who cares.

My recent roofing job with I5exteriors was disappointing. While they completed the main part of the project, I was surprised to learn afterward that I needed to hire another contractor for intake venting. This lack of transparency and added expense left me dissatisfied. The roofing work itself appears fine, but the overall experience fell short of my expectations.

They worked fast, offered a fair price, and did an outstanding job. We'll definitely reach out to them again for any future projects. Thankyou I5 Roofing and Exteriors!!!

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
