TJ and his crew are absolutely amazing! He has been an entrusted handy man for all my elderly grandmothers projects and tasks, highly skilled, dependable, and reasonably priced. He does just about any type of home maintenance, remodeling/general contractor projects. And again I can’t say enough about his personalized service with older senior clients, if you like me have an aging parent or relative that has tasks needing to be done and you don’t have the time, patience or just want to cut yo the chase of shopping around…I know a guy…TJ IS that person. Attatched is a pic of the most recent service he did, a much needed ramp for grandma.

I Know A Guy was out within 3 hours of my initial call about replacing my garage door spring. He did great work and replaced it quickly.

TJ did a great job. He was able to get right out to fix our spring and was great at communication.

I have known TJ for more than 12 years. He takes care of my two homes and two rental properties. He is always responsive, answering calls promptly and showing up the same day or the next day. His pricing is very reasonable, in my opinion. Most of the time, he can fix the problem on-site during the first visit. Whenever I have a garage door issue, I call TJ without even considering a second repair service. I highly recommend him!

So he fixed one door for me and installed 2 garage door openers. After 2 weeks on of the units quit working. He put off coming to evaluate, the proposed that i approach Genie to get a replacement for the unit he had purchased, he said he would approach Genie for the replacement, apparently Genie would not replace the defective unit he said he would just replace it. Still waiting -- 6mo now no replacement. Gonna do it my self. Terrible service.

Came home from work to find the spring busted for my garage door and wouldn't open. Called TJ and he responded back immediately. Was out in less than an hour and replaced the spring. I'm in the service industry and I can honestly say my experience with TJ and this company was hands down the best service repair I've ever had at my home! Oh, by the way it was a Friday at 3:30pm. I have had excellent service from the "Guy" several times over the last ten years or so. He replaced both of my openers as they failed over time, the work done promptly upon my reaching out. The products and service are excellent and other occasions repairs were made on the same day. That's huge, it seriously sucks to have a door that won't open or close, doesn't matter which.

Roof Repair: The roof repair and gutter augmentation work that I Know A Guy did for us was beyond excellent. The shingle color was matched, as was the gutter color. The roof & gutter repair left our home better than new. We recommend this team highly.

Garage Door Installation: The entire process from choosing the door to a seamless install was delightful. We're thrilled with our new door.

I called TJ after my garage door had been broken for a few months. He was able to come out that same day and get my door fixed and working again. He is fast, efficient, and friendly. He has no interest in over charging and will explain everything to you and happily answer all of your questions. He will be the one I call for any future garage door needs.

It’s never fun to have your garage doors stop working. It’s just one of those life necessities that we become accustomed to. My garage doors were fixed in record time even with parts ordered. Any loose screws were tightened and replaced and my other garage door checked out just in case there might be a problem. Payment was easy online. Another happy customer.

Spring on my garage door broke and the door could not be opened. I called and explained my situation. The repairman showed up the next day and within an hour had the door fixed.

TJ and crew do a great job. They had replaced my barn garage door a few months back and it was so nice, smooth and quiet. We had a delivery and they hit the door frame with the forklift and caused damage to the door and the framing. The I Know A Guy team were prompt once we got the claim settled and finished in a decent amount of time. They had to basically replace the entire front of the barn. They offered us a bid to put up siding and it was reasonable so they did that and painted. Looks great and I’ve inspected the seams and corners and I can say that everything looks solid. I wish I could swing getting the rest of the barn done. The photos are the damaged corner to show the before look, and then the new front. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was originally told by another company that my garage door was too complicated to replace and that no one would be able to fix it as a result of my house partly being expanded, taking up part of the garage. I texted TJ because he had come out a year prior to make some repairs when my garage initially had issues. TJ came out within 45 minutes to my home which was impressive because I hadn't given him much information and wasn't sure if he remembered me from a year ago. He looked at my garage for about 5 minutes and said it would be no problem to fix. TJ and his team fixed my garage with no issues and I absolutely love it. They took time to educate me and answer any questions that I had, and got the job done pretty quickly considering the circumstances. TJ even followed up a few weeks later to make sure everything went smoothly. Overall it was a great experience and I would absolutely recommend this company.
