I picked this company after extensively searching a lot of companies in the area. They offered a high quality shingle for the price. I also needed a fair amount of plywood replaced, and they were very reasonable with the cost of the sheets as well. They have been in business a long time, have a storefront, and respond to questions immediately. They have a large crew of hardworking young men, who knocked the job out very quickly, while doing a very professional job: lined all the areas that needed it, did the nailing by hand, and even did some extra touches. The crew is largely spanish speaking only, but the supervisor speaks english, so not a concern. They cleaned the yard up nicely, and also used a magnet to remove any stray nails. Very professional job, couldn't be more happy with them.

The owner Shaun was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I had 2 roofs installed recently by them, and was very happy with the result. First Choice roofing gave the best price compared to other roofing companies. The work was done on time and they cleaned up well afterwards. I will continue to use this company for future roofing service.

In 2019 a realtor recommended First Choice to clean the moss off my big steep roof in East Lewis County. No other companies wanted to drive so far or work the difficult roof. First Choice came promptly and did a thorough hand cleaning of the roof. They left my big rhododendrons intact and carted away mountains of moss. They did the same thing for my home in NE Pierce County - came promptly, cleaned steep mossy roofs, protected the garden, and carried away yards of moss. In 2022 they replaced both roof and gutters on my bungalow and were amazingly accommodating with my frequent requests for postponement. I recommend these folks without hestitation. They're prompt, speedy, reliable, tidy beyond belief and good company. I can't thank them enough.

Good quality roofing work, used a team of people to get work down fast, honored warranty for some more work about something that I didn't remember was still under warranty!

When we realized our mobile home had significant roof problems we started getting quotes from a ton of different roofing people. It was incredibly stressful and the quotes were all over the place.

Junior showed up on time, was straight forward, and gave us a quote in a day. He was not pushy or trying to up sell like all of the other bidders. Their quote blew the others out of the water enough that it was stressful that we were making the right choice.

However - they were on time and got our roof done in a day. They did such a good job. I can not praise them enough. It's seriously awesome how quickly they pulled it together.

First Choice roofing was amazing from the start. The estimator came out, got on the roofs and checked the 3 roofs that we needed repaired/replaced and gave us an accurate estimate. Once we decided to move forward, the timing was excellent, the workers were professional and very efficient.
They arrived on time, worked continuously and did an amazing job on all 3 roofs. The clean up was GREAT - they left the surrounding area even cleaner than when they started!

Had Abraham’s crew out to do two roofs they did exactly what they said they would do their cleanup was fantastic their employees were professional polite respectful. We had our roof installed in 2010 by First Choice. Fast forward to 2021 and our new insurance company said the roof needs repairs or replacement. An independent roofing company came out to inspect it and said it's in great shape and that the insurance inspector must have assumed from the style that it's old. So I called First Choice (Abraham); they came out within two days and provided a statement for the insurance company that the roof is still in great shape and will last more than the required 5 year stipulation.

First Choice Roofing were everything I could have hoped for.... respectful of my property... they cleaned up after themselves... I couldn't be happier. I will and have referred them to everyone in need of roof repair.

HIGHLY unprofessional estimator came to do a bid. Followed up for over a week with no response. Was told by the "manager" or closest thing to a manager as he said, that they weren't able to do the job. They weren't able to help us. Its literally a roof cover over a back porch. When asked how a roofer can not fix a roof, was told owner said they were not able to help us. Literally no explanation at all.

Chose these guys based on all the positive reviews. First impressions were great. Nice on the phone, prompt inspection and good value. The repairs were delayed due to snow but they were good about communication. They showed up on time and worked quickly, that’s when everything went wrong. They left without a word. I went out to inspect the work and noticed that the plywood we had agreed would be replaced due to a leak and now growing mold was not replaced. They said nothing about it. I called and they quickly sent someone out to take a look. When they came back they told me the plywood was still good and that it would dry out and be fine because they got it with a hammer and it sounded ok. I was informed I would have to take care of the mold. I’m not a roofer so I don’t know about the hammer thing maybe that’s legit I have no idea but I certainly don’t like the mold. I don’t understand why the work wasn’t completed the way we had previously agreed. Upon inspecting a different portion of the roof that was repaired we discovered the repair done was insufficient. Water damage was still visible and the plywood that was placed was short. I was told they would come back first thing the next week and there would be a discount for the unused plywood. I received an email with an invoice for the full amount! I contacted them and was told that was a mistake. Next week came and no one showed or called. Wednesday they called and Thursday they came. They finished the roof and sent me a bill with a discount of $80. The problem is the estimate called for 3 sheets of plywood and the accompanying labor at $80 a piece, that $240 in parts and labor. Only 1/4 of 1 sheet was used. You would think that is easy math and the discount would be $220 or similar. This is like taking your car to a mechanic having them give you and estimate for A,B and C. You go pick up your car and they only did A, didn’t tell you and still billed you for the whole thing. When you find out about it they only fix B(partly) and say the other parts weren’t necessary but only reduce the whole bill partially. And when you protest they say “Unfortunately we cannot lower the price of the repair”. I DON’T WANT YOU TO LOWER THE PRICE. I DON’T WANT TO BE BILLED FOR THINGS YOU DID NOT DO. I am happy to pay for the work you did and for the supplies you used, not more.

I am a local builder and hired First Choice Roofing for my own personal home. All roofers are incredibly busy this time of year and they hired a new crew that came highly recommend to them for my job, after the installation the owner stopped by to inspect the roof and was not very satisfied, he immediately called and wanted to meet on site. Once we met and he walked me around the roof showing me all the issues he insisted that they tear it all off and re-install another new roof. I couldn't believe his honesty. About a week later his crew showed up and in about a day the roof was removed and replaced. It truly looks amazing. I've already given there name out to several other builders and friends. I will use them again.

First choice exceeded our expectations for a complete roof replacement. A large crew all arrived at 7am on the scheduled date. Our old roof was off by 9am, and new CDX sheeting went up. They were super efficient and surpassed our expectations. Clean up was complete by 5pm. Gutters on a few days later, so we were able to paint the new fascia boards. Thank you for the quality and professionalism.

We have used them on three of our homes and had a great experience each time. We also got a quote from them on a home we were trying to purchase and they went to look at it for us the same day we called them, plus we had the quote emailed to us before the day was over. They are priced really fairly, they show up on time, and they do a great job. They are easy to work with and while they aren’t a big business with fancy offices and labels, they are the only roofing company I will ever use! We are currently selling our rental home and not only did they schedule the job quickly, but when it poured rain on the day we had it scheduled, they rescheduled us within a few days without me having to remind them we were selling it. I know they have lots of jobs scheduled so I was grateful they made us a priority without me even asking! I’ll always use them for my roofing needs!

We have been searching for a quality roofing company for awhile now. We saw them one day driving down Pacific and decided to get a bid. We had a property that was in dire need of a roof as a tree had fallen on it and it sat vacant for 3 years like that. The moss that had grown had to be 6 inches thick. They came out in full force and completed the job plus the gutters in about a day and a half. I am in real estate so I have seen some pretty shoddy repairs over the years and let me tell you...these guys are good. The tracked their progress with pictures, they communicated great with us, and they were honest. I will continue to use them on every project going forward.

We had a bad experience prior to hiring First Choice. The owner came out and spoke with me in terms I could understand! He took time to review the entire project and took pictures! The crew came in like a swat team and professionally and efficiently knocked out my roof in one day. Friendly, thorough and thoughtful. My roof looks great and you would never even know they had been there. They preserved my lawn and it was cleaner when they left than it was that morning.

Great company over all! Recommended by a friend of ours. We reached out to the company. They were able to come out same day for a quote. We scheduled for a few weeks put to get the roof replaced. They called a few days later and were able to come out over a week sooner! Showed up on time and got to work! They were fast but did quality work. The clean up was amazing! This was our 2nd, positive experience with First Choice Roofing. We had a roof leak that eventually soaked thru our master bedroom closet. They were able to come out to assess the problem the next day and offer a firm bid. We were then able to get our roof repaired the next day (this will depend a lot on their schedule, but this time of year it worked out for us).

Our dealings with them have been cordial and positive. Their earlier repair to our roof has completely resolved the problem we were having.

We needed a new roof for our rental. First choice came out quickly, gave us a good bid, set the date of the reroof and completed the job in a day. As a home builder in Olympia, I found them responsive to all of my questions. The house had a structural problem. They fixed it for a fair price and gave us a 10 year warranty on labor. This company is amazing! They actually go up on the roof and take pictures for you when they provide your quote, they use high quality material (the Gator guard is particularly nice), they are very responsive and answer questions thoroughly, provided me pictures of what they found when removing the old roof, brought my roof up to code and went around and did nice clean up work of the gutters, car port, etc., and installed shiny new vents. The price was super reasonable! So glad they were referred to me by several other super happy customers! There is a good reason why they are "First Choice Roofing." Super happy!

I had some damage to my roof from a wind storm. These guys came out the same day that I called them and gave me an estimate (which I thought was very fair based on the research I had done for roof repairs). They came out the following morning and did the repair. They are very polite, professional, and work quickly. I will definitely hire them again should I have any future roof issues.

I needed roof work completed to sell my house and it was rather a last minute request from the buyer. Working with Adam, he was able to provide me a quote that day and schedule the work around their very busy schedule. After the initial work was done, the buyer requested additional work, and again, Adam was on top of it. The work was reassessed and an additional quote was provided. The work was completed on time and as quoted. Throughout this rather stressful period Adam and the rest of the staff were professional, very responsive to my questions, and worked hard to ensure that they provided me the best experience possible.

I am beyond pleased with First choice roofing. My roof had three separate leak issues. When they ripped off the old shingles, they noticed the bad plywood underneath, and replaced them with new sheeting. They inspected every single piece of plywood. Every one of the employees were courteous and very good at their work. The roof looks incredible. Everything was well done. They are very good at cleaning up when it is all done. I now see why 4 of my friends and coworkers recommended these guys to me. They have my full recommendation.

Outstanding crew and owner. Work was more than fast and professional. The roof had ship lap decking and was overlayed with 1/2" plywood and new PAPCO Shingles. They also installed a torched down roof on our sunroom as well as additional metal vents and new metal flashing. Cleaned up as good as new when finished. Couldn't be more pleased!!

After attempting to build an overhang by myself and of course failing to create a water tight roof we called first choice, they were very responsive and came out to give a quote on a complete redone roof for an overhang. The minute the weather cleared they showed up and completed the work within a day and the bill came out to the exact dollar amount on the quote. couldn't be happier with the results. Ive also used them for a separate issue involving fixing a leak in flashing with my houses chimney and they were able to come out 15 minutes after the initial call to give a quote and work the very next morning. I dont review often but they definitely deserve the 5 stars

They showed up on time and were so professional. My home is only two years old and the roof was already leaking. First Choice was not the original installer but they took the time to show me where the issues where as they stripped the roof so I could take pictures. I am so confident that the leak is resolved. I highly recommend this company.

I had them go out and look at my rental to give me an estimate. I even confirmed that they were there, but never received a bid despite numerous texts and voicemails to Carlos. Last time I talked to him 2 weeks ago he confirmed that his cousin went out and took measurements and said they were in the process of pricing materials for the bid. I haven't heard from him since. Sent 3 texts and left a voicemail. Nothing. I'm not waiting around anymore. No business from me. I hope you treat your other customers better.
