I had a frustrating experience with another roofer that replaced my main roof but in the process he created a leak between my main roof and my flat roof. When that roofer gave up and couldn't determine how to resolved the leak, I struggled to find a roofer who was even willing to take on our problem. Most of them never called us back. Thankfully, Caleb and Adam and another guy from HW Roofing (didn't get his name) were able to diagnose the problem and fix it! I'm so thankful for HW Roofing and I would definitely do business with them again! They are very trustworthy and they will take care of you, just like they did for me and my family.

Just after Milton blew through, I happened to notice on the back area of my roof what appeared to be several shingles missing. I called Mark yesterday and he came out to verify some of the granules were gone but the integrity of the roof area was fine. I asked him to check another small area unrelated to the original request which shows water intrusion (previously noticed in the past) in upper moulding in the master bedroom. It was a nail issue which he fixed including sealing the outside area. I am so impressed with such quick service and no charge! I highly recommend HW Roofing! Thank you Mark!

We developed a ceiling leak secondary to all the recent rains. I called HW Roofing and was given an appointment for the very next day! John Dunlap came, assessed the damage and proceeded to make the repair himself on the spot. He thoroughly explain the problem while showing me pictures of the issue. Since the problem was deemed minor by John, he repaired it and did not charge anything! HW Roofing will be my go to if any future roof problems occur. Thank you John and HW Roofing

Adam came to home to check my roof. Had posted a picture and many responses advised it look like a nail pop.
Adam climbed up and advised no nail pop just a partially pop up shingle may have been done by storm wind.
He glued it and put in place. Checked the entire roof.
There was no charge for this service.

Where do I start? There were “door knockers” that wanted us to sign right on the spot. No discussion just pushy. We then called HW Contractors and that’s when we first met John Dunlap he came and listened, spent an 1+ on roof and determined it was definite storm damage.
He told us we could file a claim with our insurance. If we wanted him to represent us he would be more than glad there was no pressure it was up to us.
When it came to the work
I can’t tell you just how grateful I am to have had John and HW’s team work with us. Their work was professional and timely. Our roof looks absolutely amazing! But it is also their kindness they showed knowing we were going through a tough time with me being disabled and our daughter being diagnosed with cancer. They showed empathy and kindness. Worked around our medical needs for noise and such. They ensured everything was cleaned up, to the point of using a metal detector so our dog would not step on anything. We had others come to assess but HW’s committed to excellence was evident on first encounter, definitely give them a call. Special shout out to John Dunlap, whom is a man of honesty and integrity. HW Roofing replaced my roof in March 2024. It was an "emergency" situation and I was so pleased with the results. They were very professional from beginning to end. I discovered a leak in my roof. I reached out to a Facebook group page and John reached out to me. He came by and looked at my roof and I showed him where the leak was. He knew exactly what the problem was. It’s a dead valley on the top of my roof and he said that it Hass to be prepared a special way so that no water could get through. He gave me a quote and I agreed to have them come back and do the work. he described everything to me accurately and he was full of knowledge and shared his knowledge with me as I’m not somebody who understands roofing. I thought that was important being that I know nothing about roofs. They came out to do the work and he showed me pictures of what my roof looks like from the builder. My house is only five years old and in that dead valley section it was not properly sealed or done correctly, which is what caused water to get in to my attic and create the water stain in my garage. He showed me pictures as the gentleman on top of the roof and kept me , up-to-date on the progress and explained everything to me as we went along. He gave me a very detailed report from my insurance company as well even though I paid for it out of my pocket. I have to say that the work was done. Professionally explanations were handled professionally and they did a great job. I’d recommend recommend them to anybody.

HW Contracting was SPECTACULAR in every sense of the word as they completed replacing my roof. From our first meeting with our salesman, Mark Mendolia, the process was flawless! Mark stayed in contact with us throughout the entire process . Katie Kelso, our contact at the office continued to keep us updated about every detail from when the dumpster and shingles would be delivered, to when the work was scheduled, and made sure the dumpster and waste was promptly removed. Lastly, but certainly a huge highlight, was the crew that did the work reroofing our house. They started work at 7 AM and stayed until the roof was done, even eating lunch in shifts so they didn’t lose momentum. They did a terrific job! They were out to repair the damage done to my roof within an hour of calling. Due to an emergency situation they had my roof repaired in less than two hours while I was at the emergency room. I removed a chimney and broke a finger while doing so. I actually caused more damage to the roof than originally quoted. I should have had them remove the chimney in hindsight. Irregardless they fixed the chimney hole and another I put in the roof.. lol. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism of John Dunlap and the employee who performed the repairs. The billing process was simple and the cost was very fair considering the circumstances. I will absolutely recommend them for more work in the future. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND John Dunlap for anyone needing a new roof. He's an honest person and that's uniquely hard to find in the roofing business.

I was in the process of buying a home with a major roof defect without the builder agreeing to fix the roof trusses properly. This issued continued for over a month with no resolution. I was about to cancel the pending contract when Mark of H W Roofing was recommended to me. He inspected the roof, made a video of the issues and sent the video to the builder. This resulted in the builder repairing the roof appropriately within two days and I was able to close on the home.

Very responsive, professional team. Lead rep was able to navigate insurance carrier and limit out of pocket costs. Also, HW Roofing is listed as a Platinum Roofer in the Dow Corning website which means I got the best shingle warranty from Dow Corning.
