I cannot say enough of mcelfresh roofing and solar. I am a first time home buyer and lived in my home over 3 years…coming into it I did not know anything about roof and how often it should be replaced. My roof was considered very old and not in code so I knew one day it was going to need to happen.
I was ALWAYS very skeptical when different companies came knocking on my door and wouldn’t listen to the process. We came across a storm in April where we got lots of wind damage that I knew something had to be done. Klint (who is amazing!) came alone and we took it from there. Talked me through the process and answered any questions that I had. Along with his wonderful wife carol. A process that I was so scared of they made it so comfortable and easy. Brad who was also a point of contact, Was great as well following up and keeping me update with the progress. My ynew roof is perfect I couldn’t be any happier. Highly recommend their service!

McElfresh Roofing worked quickly to assess my roof after a recent storm. They were very thorough in explaining where my roof was damaged. Sadly, my homeowners insurance company invoked their 'right to repair' and I was not able to give McElfresh Roofing the job. With that said, McElfresh was by far the most communicative party in my whole ordeal. I heard from them first, that my insurance company was covering my roof, even before my insurance company informed me. After a poor experience with the roofer that my insurance company chose, I was able to call McElfresh back up and have them re-inspect my roof and point out the issues with the other company's job as well as the things the county inspector missed (that's a whole other story... the Duval county inspector did a drive-by and inspected my roof WITH BINOCULARS - you can't even see the whole roof from the street...). My claim with my insurance is still open, pending them fixing the issues with their chosen roofer's job. Should that company not come through, McElfresh has preemptively offered to fix the other company's work. This is an abridge version of my experience, of course. However, I would not hesitate to call McElfresh roofing back for any future roofing needs. They're thorough, stand behind their work and clearly care about doing right by their customers.

Reached out to the McElfresh team to get estimates on repairing my roof. I was amazed every step of the way. The response was super quick. Stephen stopped by when we arranged and helped me step by step through the insurance process. He even showed up when the insurance adjuster came by. On the day of repair the workers were stellar. They finished in one day and had everything cleaned up before leaving. I've found my roofing company for life.

Elijah communicates promptly and did a thorough inspection of my roof. He answered all my questions and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this company!

The company has been very patient with my claim for my roof. Klint told us the whole process of getting the roof replaced and working with the insurance company and their adjusters. He kept us updated all along the process. He came when the adjusters were here. He always followed up with any changes. He was here with the roofers, and followed up after they left to check that all was well.

I called McElfresh Roofing to find out if they could come to the house I rent from an owner who lives in NJ. I acquired bids for a new roof for the Owner at his request, and a courtesy on my part. I spoke to the Owner of McElfresh and he requested his Sales Rep, Joe call me. Joe called and was very professional, courteous and respectful. We set up a time so he could view the roof at my residence. Joe came to the house and he was very attentive to details, and explained every facet of the roof process, his company's replacement procedures and he answered all my questions. He had extensive knowledge of the process, the materials the company sells including warranties and add-ons if needed. Joe provided material samples, and explained the products. I forwarded all of the info and brochures to the homeowner.
Joe has since provided a timely follow-up in a professional manner. If I owned this rental, I would hire McElfresh Roofing based on the contact I had with their Representative Joe, and the knowledge he has of their roofing business.

McElfresh Roofing was the roofing company for my replacement. I saw their sign up at a neighbor front yard and called them for an inspection.
Klint was my contact and he stepped me through the insurance process since I have no experience with this.
Klint responded by calls texting and visits to the house in a very timely manner to my many concerns. This I liked and appreciated.
The roof was replaced in one day and the second day was a final walkthrough to ensure the yard, grass, driveway has no nails and other debris.
Many additional homes in our HOA are currently in the process of inspections and planning for roof replacement with McElfresh Roofing.
It takes a lot of trust to have this contracted out and pray they do a perfect job. THEY DID! I would do it again with McElfresh Roofing, hopefully not soon, lol.

I cannot recommend this business enough if you are looking for a roofer. Their professionalism and communication is without peer. Joe was so helpful from the initial inspection throughout the entire project. Our new roof was completed in one day and when the workers left, our property was cleaned as if nothing had been done. Our damage assessor Nick was a delight to work with. He was prompt, knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about. He assisted us through the process, kept us up to date and followed up with our insurance company until approval. All in all it was an easy process thanks to Nick.

Was referred by a friend of the family that had their roof replaced about a year and a half ago. McElfresh gave me my first quote and beat two other competitors by about $2000. The crew was professional. They started work at 7:00 AM, worked until nearly 7:00 PM and finished the next day before 1:00 PM. As advertised, they left no trace of their activity other than a new roof. I'm a very satisfied customer.

We had a great experience with McElfresh Roofing! We worked with Chris and his communication was top notch throughout the entire process between us and our insurance company. We had asked them for a 2nd opinion after another company told us we had hail damage when we had no hail. Chris did an excellent job to show me the pictures and explain the difference between hail and wind damage. Oh original insurance adjuster was also impressed with Chris. The day the job started both Chris and the owner were here to ensure everything was off to a great start. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic company! I called them after getting a flyer left at my door. Roof was old and needed TLC. Andy Barkenhagen went through all the steps with me from start to finish and kept me up to date. Insurance, permits, everything was taken care of in a very timely manner. The crew that replaced my roof was freaking awesome. They were prompt and quick! Very coordinated team of professionals. One of McElresh's people came to my door and offered me a free roof inspection after a wind event. At first I was hesitant, since I usually don't do business with people who just drop by. But I have to say, I ended up with a new roof paid for by the insurance company. McElfresh held my hand throughout the entire process. The roof is on, the quality seems good, and I'm very happy.

From reading the reviews, they target people for storm damage on their roof thus filing a claim with homeowners insurance. Given the fact that insurance rates keep rising in FL, this is scammy. Also, we've had our roof inspected by 2 different companies just this year and we know what we have left in the life of our roof and no storm damage to be found. Good try though when your randomly came to my door today.

Update to respond to company: If you don't target homes, why didn't you stop any of the other 10+ homes on the street? You only stopped at ours, security cameras can see pretty much the entire road.

Great experience having our roof replaced. James was excellent helping us from start to finish. From picking out shingles, to helping us get everything processed through the insurance company. He made what can be a stressful situation much easier. The crew that came were very punctual and worked hard in a very timely manner. They also Did a great job cleaning up once finished.

I could not be more pleased with my experience with McElresh Roofing and Solar. As an insurance claims professional with over 25 years' experience, I'm very much aware of the bad actors within the roofing industry. Those having ethical reputations are few and far between. They are often not interested in working with homeowners unless they can bilk your insurance company. McElfresh Roofing is not one of those companies and offered a competitive price to replace my aged roof.

I worked closely with Klint who was with me through every step of the process for a roofing system. He was proactive at every turn and provided expertise on color selection and materials. The end product was a gorgeous roof with the highest quality roofing system. This company doesn't shortcut any step and uses the highest quality materials in the industry, which is why they can easily stand by their work.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Klint and (owner) Brad and found this company to be highly reputable, professional, and responsive. The team that installed the roof was top notch. My homeowner's insurance was not being renewed due to the age of my roof even though it did not have any leaks. I met James, a Project Manager for McElfresh Roofing and Solar, at a home where they had just replaced the roof. I asked him to give me a quote. That same day he inspected my room and surprised me to say there were almost 40 areas that indicated wind damage.
And this was after an independent inspector and another roofing company had been on the roof and didn't see this damage. James wisely advised me to file an insurance claim since there was undeniable evidence and he had historical weather data for the date of the accessive winds that have caused the damage. The insurance company then sent their own field adjuster to examine the roof and he concurred with James' evaluation. Needless to say, I was ecstatic and overjoyed when the insurance company approved the claim. We have a new roof for a very small amount of deductible. I was under no obligation to use McElfresh Roofing and Solar but their expertise and knowledge base is far superior to other roofers I interviewed.
I was kept updated at each phase of the project. James is very skilled and helped me select the best materials and color for the new roof. He and the owner and other personnel, including the large crew, continued to demonstrate a high regard for doing the job with expertise, and they finished within 2 days. I really liked their use of dump trailers instead of a roll-off dumpster which completely eliminated the possibility of damaging my driveway.
The roofers cleaned up after themselves each day. They went around the house multiple times with the large magnets to pick up any possible stray nails.
The county inspectors we're quite pleased with the quality of workmanship.

Working with McElfresh Roofing and Solar and their on-site rep, inspector and supervisor, James Maso, was an unexpectedly great experience from beginning to end! With all sincerity and gratitude I recommend them without reservation and I consider myself blessed by the entire experience. Besides the roof itself which looks amazingly good, they worked with my insurance company and the insurance adjuster giving me the best possible outcome and price on my handsome new roof. We needed our roof replaced due to damage from Hurricane Ian. We had a great experience with this roofing company. The field officer of this company Joe Chaney impressed me so much that I recommended him to my neighbors and to my partners. As a result, he got additional work. One thing I remember about Joe that during my roofing issue I had a family emergency and had to travel away from Palm Coast. He took care of many things including taking additional pictures/information for the insurance company for which he had to travel to palm coast from Jacksonville. I spoke to the boss of the company who was very helpful and gave me reduction on skylights and wood replacement. If I had to do any roofing work again, I will always hire them.

Outstanding job. James Maso was the reason I used this company as he inspected my roof and found all the issues we had after the hurricane. My insurance company told me we had to pay 100% for a new roof and we received the letter informing us that they were dropping our coverage.

James inspected the roof and walked me through the insurance claim. Then James showed up when the insurance adjuster arrived for his inspection. James pointed out several “misses” by the adjuster which the adjuster admitted that he overlooked. My great great great grandmothers broken Vace was even included.

James also handled all the ordering for the entire new roof and showed up to be here when the roofing installers arrived. They had my entire roof done in one day.

Was at an event and met joe. He gave me his card because was worried about my roof after the last 2 hurricanes contacted him a few days later for inspection. Very professional guy came out on a Sunday because that was my only available day found shingle damage. Even came back to go over damage with insurance inspector.

After Hurricane Nicole, a water stain developed in my living room. I called 3 contractors. The first one NEVER returned my call. The second one called, said it was due to the high winds and it was probably coming in through the vents and he was coming by to check it out for me. He was a NO SHOW. The third contractor happened to be a vendor at a local event. I explained my concern. He asked when I wanted the roof inspected. We arranged the date and time. I had some “door knockers” come and do a free inspection. Brad seen the “ hieroglyphics“ left on my roof and stopped and gave me his card. He told me even if I didn’t go through him I could always ask him any questions I had if something didn’t seem right. A week later my insurance was at my house but this big name company lied about someone being present. He wasn’t even sure what the marking meant. Brad came to the rescue and come straight to me no questions asked and advised me on everything going on. When I do get a new roof I will 10000% be using Brad and his company.
