Hulsey Roofing did a fantastic job putting a new roof on my house. They are professional & courteous & go out of their way to make their customers happy. If there are any issues they will return until you’re satisfied. Ryan was my Salesman/Project Manager & stayed involved until the job was done. They did an excellent job. When we had an issue with the roof, they came in and fixed it right away. It wasn't actually the roof itself, but the flex pipe that led to the vent. They fixed it.!!

Hulsey Roofing made this a smooth experience from start to finish. What the insurance company tried to make a difficult process, Hulsey aided in making sure we were properly taken care of.
From the first phone call with the office to then having Ryan come out and further oversee the process, we could not have asked for better service. Ryan was amazing at communicating with us throughout the process and even afterward. He went above and beyond and completely exceeded our expectations! Hulsey Roofing did a great job on the roof, but the customer service we received specifically from Ryan Kent was above and beyond my expectations. He was extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. He always responded quickly to every question and was very patient explaining everything to us. Home repair can be a nightmare, but Ryan helped us feel like we were taken care of and didn't need to be stressed out.

From start to finish, they were wonderful. Our sales person Mark was exceptionally easy to work with very friendly and very knowledgeable. Hulsey Roofing is the best in the business when it comes to roof repair/replacement. I recently got approved for a roof replacement from my insurance company. Ryan Kent was extremely knowledgeable and patient throughout the entire process. Even when my insurance provider gave a little push back with the quote from Hulsey Roofing, Ryan and the team helped provide a sense of reassurance from start to finish. Hulsey roofing did a great job replacing my very old roof. They were professional and courteous throughout the process from initial bid to installation. I'm not normally inclined to leave reviews, but after a nightmare experience with another contractor for different work around the same time I am compelled to let people know these guys are honest and do good work. The pricing was reasonable as well.

Hulsey roofing installed the best roof ever! A neighbors tree limb took out my roof , gutter, cracked my joist boards. Serve-Pro gave me their name. The owner after opening the roof up found most boards rotten and no ventilation system. ( previous fly by night storm chasers ) The company worked with me and I received a great roof ! Jackson and Gabe completed some extra work and did a great job! I would recommend this company .

The Hulsey roofing crew installed an awesome new roof for us! They were a joyful and hardworking group of young men. Not only did they take care to install our roof so it is leakproof but also looks great! They also did a great job cleaning up debris and nails. I can’t say enough good things! Hulsey Roofing installed our roof on 10/23/24 they did a great job. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, knowledgeable and professional! We want to single out Ryan Kent who we worked with through the whole process. He was knowledgeable, extremely helpful and patient. He helped the process run smoothly and was very responsive to our needs and questions. Ryan is an extremely nice person.

I met with several companies before ultimately deciding to go with Hulsey to repair our roof and siding from storm damage. Mike Vuylsteke was the only one not to balk about the written estimate my insurance requested. Mike was punctual and easy to work with throughout the entire process. The initial crew doing the roof didn't quite get everything 100 percent on the installation, however, after talking with Mike, they responded back a couple of times until it was all done correctly. There was also an extra trip to finish some siding that got overlooked initially, but again, there was absolutely no hassle in having someone sent back out to complete the work. I only mention it because so many other contractors will never fix mistakes or complete started jobs without major intervention it's worth mentioning that Hulsey was great to work with and had the integrity to catch the errors from the roof install themselves and correct everything seamlessly. Upon completion, the roof and siding look great and we would definitely use Hulsey again. Thanks to Mike V. And the several crews that came out and worked on our home.

Overall, we were very pleased with the installation as they were very quick and efficient, but communication from management needs a big improvement.

For the delivery of materials and the roof installation, crews showed up unannounced. It would have been nice to know they were coming.

During the installation, I was texting with the wife of the owner (also an employee) and asked for photos multiple times but the requests were ignored.

Hopefully the install quality will be excellent and the failures in communication will be a distant memory.

I have had nothing but a good experience with this company from my roof being replaced to having them fix my ceiling in my bedroom & in the kitchen. The gentleman name blade was very professional and courteous and did a great job. I would recommend this company for anyone that is needing a roof or some work done on the inside of their home.

I recently had my roof replaced by Hulsey. The experience was definitely better than I expected as I was dreading the process. Ryan Kent was the best and made it a very smooth seamless process. He was punctual, attentive, and very professional. He offered a very clear and concise explanation of the process. On time and good quality work. Staff was excellent to work with. Language barrier was a challenge at times with the crew but they worked hard and did a great job.

Contacted Hulsey roofing end of July to schedule a roof inspection. My information was taken, and I was informed that the staff member in charge of scheduling would call me back to confirm a date. There was no follow up, so I called back a few days later. Only when I called back did the office inform me it was scheduled for Sept 4. Two days after the scheduled inspection, I called Hulsey once again because there was no report, email, or updates. The office said an inspection took place, but they were waiting on the inspection notes from the inspector. They said they would call me back in a few days with the report and photos. There was never a call back, email, or update.
Three weeks later, I call back (again) to request the report and invoice only to find out that the inspector left the business. While the office staff were apologetic and tried to reschedule the inspection, they blamed the issue on short staffing of roofers when the heart of the issue is the lack of communication and follow up from office staff. Had I not called, I don’t know when they would have informed me that the initial inspection fell through. Really disappointed considering the number of positive reviews.

Also need to add that Hulsey roofing donated shingles to a lady that I was involved in with helping her get her roof, Kyle hopewell put the roof on but Hulsey donated the shingles you guys rock!! I will recommend you to everyone and Mike V! You are the one that made it all happen thank you so much!!!

This is our second time using Hulsey Roofing, storm damage both times, amd we couldn't be happier. Richie has great insight and knowledge when we asked about different products and colors for Roofing and siding. We couldn't be happier with what we came up with. The team that came out was extremely nice, on time, and completed the job right. Even had follow ups with their inspector to make sure the work was up to their standards and that we were happy with the finished product. I highly recommend Richie and Hulsey Roofing.

Richie was incredible to work with and I would highly recommend. They replaced our roof and siding due to storm damage. Everything worked exactly how they explained it would and they did a fantastic job from start to finish.

Rating 5 stars due to all the assistance Hulsey has provided after our new roof install. The install unfortunately came with a lot of unforseen issues and leaks. Hulsey has stood behind their work and has offered fixes at every turn. Primarily, Mike has been the one spearheading solutions and truly feels like he's advocating for you and for top quality work. I would recommend Hulsey specifically due to Mike's first class assistance and his diligence in addressing issues.

Hulsey roofing was referred to us after a fire incident (insurance). the staff is easy to speak with unfortunately, the flat roof they installed had too many dips in it and is spongy.

I asked about getting the roof redone but they didn’t want to go through the hassle of placing flat boards down. So they gave us an extra 5 year warranty.

Months later the roof is leaking. I’ve sent the company videos and photos through email.

Now, I’ll just wait. It took me a day to get in touch with someone at the office.

All the Hulsey folks were nice and did a great job with everything. I'm very happy with them and would use them again!

The team were excellent to work with the roofers and gutter workers were top notch and professional. I will recommend them in a heartbeat. The receptionist was especially kind and respectful. They all made this experience fantastic and less stressful!!!!

Haven't used them yet just called about some gutter work receptionist very helpful, I used to volunteer with Tom Halsey haven't seen him in a while but he was a good guy so I know his company barring his name is going to be awesome

Would not recommend had an appointment set up for an estimate to get repairs on my fascia. Called an hour after my appointment time to find out if they were coming was told they could not get a hold of the inspector Jeff. Received a call about 10 minutes later and was told that nobody is coming due to all the storm damage from the storm last week. Well what about your appointments you already had, it's stupid that someone that wants to pay cash gets bumped for insurance jobs due to them being able to make more money what a joke. I guess appointments don't mean anything anymore.

I just want to say the people at this company are wonderful and very nice people. I worked with Jeff Peterson who is so very nice and understanding. He listened to all my concerns and walked me through every step of the way to help get insurance to pay for our roof. He very kindly answered any questions I had. No matter how silly and always got back to me very quickly. And this guy is super busy! He showed up and asked questions right away. We had called previous companies that showed up but didn't ask questions and didn't even bother to call us back. That's not Jeff or Hulsey Roofing, they show up and they give you a 110%! I very highly recommend Hulsey Roofing and Jeff Peterson. Jeff is wonderful working with anyone who has never gone through the roof replacement process before and will make you feel confident that everything will go smoothly. There's a definitely a reason why they have been in business for so many years , they are just that great! For anyone needing their roof replaced or repaired, they are who you want to call! I very highly recommend them! You won't regret these nice people going above and beyond for you!

I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the Hulsey Roofing team and work done by Mike S. at Hulsey Roofing. I called in to schedule an appointment to have someone come out to inspect the roof and the team sent someone out the same day. Mike inspected the area inside my home, took pictures and provided a preliminary analysis of the potential problem. During the same visit, he went up on the roof, which is pretty steep, took pictures of what appeared to be nail holes in the roof, filled in the nail holes and addressed any potential issues. He also took additional pictures to show his work. He did not recommend replacement of the roof. I recommend calling Hulsey Roofing and Mike Sedrick for your roofing issues. I appreciate the prompt attention.

Scott and the rest of the team at Hulsey roofing were absolutely incredible. Not just because of their honesty and transparency or their quality and quickness, but their loyalty. I called them over six months ago after we had a pretty significant storm roll through. Scott came out and gave me a very detailed reason why the roof was shot and agreed with me that my insurance should cover it.

This started a very long, unnecessary, uphill battle with my insurance company filled with all kinds of hurtles, excuses, and just overall trouble that wasn't needed. Scott and the team at Hulsey not only stuck with me through the entire process, but also had my back in every single way. Especially when it came to a particularly disrespectful and rude insurance adjuster.

I would recommend these guys over and over again. When they were finally able to come out and get my roof done, it took them less than a full day and we have a perfect roof. If we did have a problem, I know that I could call Scott or anyone at the Hulsey team, and they would do anything and everything they could to fix it. As a small business owner and family man, this is very important to me.

We had an emergency leak situation and Hulsey Roofing sent Mike to check it out on a frigidly cold day. He climbed into our awkward attic space and crawled around until he found the problem. He showed us photos and explained the problem to us thoroughly, and helped talk us through the options to a solution.

Just had hail damage to my home, and Mike V came out and guided me through the whole process, a very knowledgeable guy who has been in the roofing business his whole life. He had a few suggestions that really helped out. I would recommend this company to all of my friends and family.

I have never been so impressed with the customer service and craftsmanship of a local contractor. WOW. Unbelievable really. Honest, fair, warrantied work. I would recommend them to anyone! Mike/Repair Tech was so knowledgable, I felt like I just took an intro course to roofing.

Big thumbs up for Hulsey roofing! A tree fell on our house on April 1st and the Hulsey guys were out there before the tree had been completely removed so they could put a tarp on the roof. The next day Ritchie was out there to assess the damage and give us estimates for the work. He also worked very well with our insurance company (State Farm) to ensure all remained within budget. Our house required a whole new roof and gutters; some new joists, rafters and insulation on the outside. Inside required repairs to a bedroom, hallway and two bathrooms due to damage from the tree. All work was completed by June 22nd and we could not be happier! All the workers from Hulsey were very responsive to our questions and needs as well as keeping us informed. Really great working with everyone including the roofers, the painters and the people in the office. Any additional work that was needed, such as new facia boards behind the gutters that had rotted, were discussed with us before proceeding with the work. I would recommend Hulsey for any work you need done! Great job, everyone!

So a couple weeks ago I made a post on Facebook. I went to a woman’s home and she has been cheated by multiple different people about her roof. It was leaking horribly so much bad wood and mold was on the ceiling. I took to Facebook trying to get donations for materials. I had said I was gonna do labor for free and got a group of guys to help with the labor, but didn’t have the 3 k to purchase materials. This was something I was so passionate about and I felt it in my heart to get done for Wendy and her kids. I got a message from Richard Mueller with hulsey roofing telling me that hulsey roofing would pay for the materials and that’s what they did. We completed Wendy’s roof yesterday and without this wonderful company I honestly don’t know how long it would have taken. Thank you for everything and god bless you guys ❤️❤️❤️

I did not personally use this company but have a lot to say about a terrible experience with them and one of their contractors working on the house next door to mine. They were unloading roofing tiles at my neighbors home and an employee “threw” a pack of roofing tiles into one of my storm windows. After many calls and texts with someone who worked for the delivery company he said he would be fixing my window. Almost a month has gone by and and it has finally been fixed. But this person here has spent almost 3 hours putting a new storm window in that he initially told me would only take 20 minutes. Also proceeded to ask to come inside my home to use my facilities, I wouldn’t hesitate if this was a company I hired and new was honest, but to emphasize, I did not hire anyone from this company to do work on my home. I have never had such a strange experience in my life and I hope this roofing company finds better contractors.

Mike saved us by tarping and inspecting our roof after a storm. I reached out to 6 companies in the STL area and he was the only one to show up and communicate! I'm so happy to have a dependable roofing company to see us through the repair process.

These guys are the real deal. From the responsiveness of their office personel, to the personal delivery of the shingle samples, to the roof installation and clean up, everything was very well done. We had one little hiccup but Richie Mueller handled it immediately and professionally. We are extremely happy with the results and will be recommending Hulsey Roofing many times.

This whole experience was unbelievable! I can't say enough great thing about this company and how professional they were to us. We already started recommending them to family and friends because of the great work they did and how easy they made this process for us. They were with us from the beginning of the claim until the very end and handled a lot of the insurance stuff for us too. Great company and great people.

Couldn’t be happier with our new roof. Alex the sales guy was with us thru the entire process. He created a bid to outline all possible work and then tailor the bid to make it work. The estimate he sent was professional and itemized so we could see where the money was going to. Once we signed the contract, the repairs were made and the roof was replaced in short order. Materials and dumpsters were dropped off the day before and the job site was cleaned up immediately…for replacing our roof, there was no hassle at all. The crew was hard working and polite, our roof looks amazing and I couldn’t even find a staple in my yard when they were done. I would not hesitate to call Hulsey for future projects.

We needed a new roof and thought we would have to pay for the entire project out of pocket. Hulsey was the only one who suggested we contact our insurance since he saw wind damage. We ended up getting half of the cost of the roof. They were prompt, and completed all the work in one day with minimal effect on our day. I would highly recommend this company and our rep Richie. He made the entire process very easy. They forgot to remove the satellite dish and was quick to have someone take care of it the day after I called. Can't say enough good things about them.

Additionally, they will walk around your property with you and answer any questions you have. From the start with requesting a quote the office was very informative and always responded quickly to our questions. They explained how scheduling may be affected by weather; they told us when equipment and supplies would be delivered. The day of service, the men came right on time, did not mind us asking any questions, and the clean-up was way more than we expected. Hulsey was the lowest bid I received, but had good reviews, so I went with them. They were easy to communicate with, did the job when promised, and finished on time. Their work was good and their clean-up was fantastic. Will use again, and will recommend to others.

The quality and efficiency, as well as customer service and responsiveness from Tim and sherry at hulsey roofing was outstanding. I had a full roof replacement, including decking done. I was expecting it to be done in two days, but those boys worked hard on a very hot day, and got the whole roof done in one day. I was pleasantly surprised, and would recommend hulsey roofing to anyone.

I dealt with Tom Bierman for my gutter replacement and siding installation. He was professional and responsive. He was concerned with the quality and and timing of the jobs. His communication skills were excellent; always ensuring the jobs were done correctly and on time.

Tim Buback is always a pleasure to work with. He is professional, flexible with his time and willing to do his best to make his schedule work with yours to meet, extremely quick to respond when you need him or if you have a question on something, and honestly, just someone I trust.
