Great job. Everything went very well from start to finish. The estimator spent time with me to make sure we all understood what I wanted done. The estimate was clear and complete. The team of roofers was very efficient and the supervisor of the work answered questions I had as they were working and he knew what needed to be done. Everything was very well co-ordinated. Cleanup was great.The bill was exactly what we agreed, no surprises. All around good job.

Horch Roofing did a very good job with the crew that they subcontracted my roofing project to. They were quick, efficient and did excellent work. I included having new gutters installed, the first day the two guys who do it for them showed up but had an issue with getting there tools and couldn't start. The next day they started but installed them completely wrong. They did come back, remove all the gutters and tried again. The second attempt wasn't great, sagging in the middle, for some reason didn't snap a chalk line down the facia to get an even grade along the house. I would recommend Horch for your roof but not for gutters.

Don't hesitate to hire Horch! The crew arrived at 7am. They worked harder and faster than any sub we've had on the job to date. They had the roof on and everything cleaned up by 11am!?!?! The price for the job was reasonable and they were incredibly flexible with scheduling. I give the company a major thumbs up.

Horch installed new seamless gutters in February after plenty of snow covered the ground. Despite the cold conditions, the team worked effectively and quickly to replace the old gutters. The new gutters move heavy rains away from the house with the added bonus of keeping water out of the basement!

It was a pleasure working with Horch at every step of the way. They were timely and responsive in all communications. On the day of the job, a terrific crew arrived as scheduled and immediately went to work. I'm not sure I've ever witnessed a crew work as hard. They were professional throughout the job, and cleaned up the site afterwards as if no one had been there. I strongly recommend Horch for any residential job.

I had a small section of gutter to fix after putting a small addition on my house. It took a long time after the quote was given to get done, at least partly because our ferry was unreliable for a spell. The work, however, was done quickly and well, with no trash left behind. I would not hestitate to use Horch again.

Horch did a great job installing our gutter covers. It was more challenging because our gutters were installed fifteen years prior by a different provider. Thank you Horch!

I you need a roof, you must choose Horch Roofing. They are professional, insured, on-time, and on-budget. They give honest advice and are not pushy. My roof was done in the winter and they come back when the snow melts to perform a thorough clean-up.

Think twice about hiring this company. Our small condo assn hired them last summer to replace our roof. In early Feb, when there was still very little snow we developed an active leak in a place way up high that has never leaked before. For two weeks now Horch has done little but shuck and dodge. We’d heard good things, but our experience has been awful.

To the gentleman who stopped patiently at the crosswalk on Summit while a white BMW SUV zipped through and ignored my daughter and another child waiting, thank you for taking the time to stop and wait for another vehicle to also stop. Feel like this sort of thing reflects the true integrity of a company.

Horch Roofing installed new gutters and downspouts on my house. The crew was easy to work with, and they cleaned up after themselves. The gutters look good. Now it just needs to rain to see how they work!

A very easy install…timely, effective, tidy…the team that did the work took care of every detail from moving furniture ahead of install, being efficient to complete in a matter of a few days and equally focused on cleaning up such that it never looked like work was done…except a brand new roof!

Horch Roofing has worked a number of projects I’ve been involved with as a builder, so I was clear from the start I wanted their proven expertise on my own home roofing project. They more than lived up to my expectations. The teamwork, expediency, attention to detail, and relentless work ethic was beyond abundant. I remain in awe. I highly recommend Horch Roofing for the excellent services they provide.

Actively in the middle of a pretty poor experience with these guys. We needed a boot replaced on our roof - we called around multiple roofing places to get an idea on cost. Horch came in at a similar price to the others but were the most informative on the phone so we went with them. They came out to replace it and realised they didn’t have the right equipment so covered it and came back for the replacement once they had the correct supplies. I asked if them coming out twice would cause the bill to change and he called his manager and assured me it wouldn’t. When we got the final bill it was nearly double their original estimate. After going back and forward they are only agreeing to take 100 off. Still much higher than any other estimate we received for a simple vent boot replacement.

Since we had ours replaced, we ended up with a leak at a different property. We went with one of the other companies for that replacement and the experience has been night and day. Way cheaper, better communication, and more importantly they came out with the correct supplies and changed it first go without doubling our bill. We will be using them for our other properties going forward instead.

I’m hopeful that Horch can rectify our experience, but we have been going back and forward with them for nearly two weeks now and I’m not holding my breath.

Horch Roofing was great to work with, doing ng an amazing job, in what I would say a big job that was done in a short period of time giving the amount of repairs to the roof and the size of the job. The quality of work was exceptional, and given the short amount of time it took to do the job, the quality of work was not sacrificed. I highly recommend Horch as a contractor. We are out of state but would not have been able to climb on the roof to check it out regardless. Tim was great! He showed up on time for the estimate, which is free BTW, and I was set up with a quote and price within 24hrs. After I set up the installation, Horch showed up and had everything set up and started a little early which was great. They finished my job in a day, and with their clean up you would never know they were there. Absolutely one of the best companies I have worked with. Also work is backed up with warranty and the crew was amazing and sure polished. 10/10 would absolutely do business with them again!

Had a fantastic experience with Horch replacing the roofing on two large outbuildings a couple of years back. The work was done quickly, cleanup was immaculate, and everything has held up incredibly well! Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Horch Roofing had to wait until February last year to replace the roof on my Islesboro house. Weather was not agreeable during the fall of 2022. It was a blessing in disguise! I had asked to have a chimney removed as it was beyond saving. An old home. I got a call at my home in Virginia asking which chimney was to come down. A might puzzled, I learned that the ‘other’ chimney had fallen. Lots of water damage inside, and the skylight broken. They repaired the roof as well as replacing the skylight. So happy it didn’t happen to the new roof.
I’ve had trouble with leaking since their repairs. They have come back a recalled around the skylight, but there is still water leaking in a heavy windy rain.
Could be from where the old chimney was.
Horch did a wonderful job on reroofing and cleaning up.

I hadn’t had a leak through the kitchen ceiling before the chimney collapsed and the reroofing.

My only serious concern, is the leaking. There was no leak before the new roof was put on.

Still waiting for a contractor to repair the problems caused by the chimney falling.
But that needs a different company.

I thank Horch for discovering the damage and taking care of roof repairs.

The leak needs to be addressed again. There is plastic covering the ceiling now. It needs to be addressed.

Horch Roofing was prompt at making arrangements to provide an estimate for complete roof replacement and flashing repair and replacement. Their estimate was competitive with others we received. The work was done efficiently and communication was clear though a rainy summer when schedules were chaotic. The work was completed in 2 days and the clean up was thorough. Hitch did an out building roof for me and some trim work. Fast professional. I could believe what a great job they did and how easy their process was. 100% recommendation!

We are very happy with the work that Horch did on reshingling a section of our roof. The salesman spent time answering questions and helping us figure it out a good match for shingle color. The office staff did a good job coordinating, and the roofers came when they said they were coming, did a good job, and didn’t leave a mess.
The cost of the work was very fair. We had four estimates. Some people seem to think that Horch is expensive, but that is not our experience. We had four estimates, and two of them were higher than the one from Horch. I would happily use them again.

This was the fourth major roofing job they have done for us and all have been the best workmanship and experience. They are The Best.

We engaged Horch Roofing to replace roofs on our primary residence which has three buildings as well as a guest house. The work done on all four buildings was amazing. Horch is a very professional outfit. The work quality is superb and the materials used to re-roof each building was superior in all aspects. The job was completed extremely quickly with absolutely no disruption to our normal routines. The crew was fantastic and the post job clean up was very detailed. The team arrived when expected. They worked non-stop then they vanished leaving nothing behind; not even one nail. They reshingled my barn and ell exactly as agreed. They did the valleys the way they were supposed to be done. All the materials they suggested were of highest quality

When there was a powerful rainstorm, a leak appeared in the barn. They came the next day and fixed it in minutes. The barn is very old and one nail had gone between the
(not plywood) sheathing boards They found it and fixed it immediately. That to me was the true confirmation of their excellence - immediate response and depth of experience. No excuses

I would hire them again no question about it. They were not the cheapest estimate but boy did I get what I paid for.

My asfalt roof had failed and I had water damage. Got an estimate and paid a local contractor to remove old roofing and renew.
They never showed up and refused to answer the phone. Called Horch roofing and they only required a partial down payment. A bit more expensive but we'll worth the extra cash as they did an outstanding job. Considering they needed to shovel the snow off and the only clean up I had to do was pick up two roofing nails after the snow melted in the back yard. I couldn't be happier with the work ethics and a job well done.
