We had a couple of estimates from different companies and while deciding on which company to go with the other company became very pushy and combative once we decided to go with Hopewell. I could never saying anything but Good about these guys! The roofing crew didn’t seem to speak English but I just want to praise them! They did such a wonderful job on my roof they did not leave any mess behind! I called them for a second opinion before I contacted the insurance company. They also found hail damage, and I decided to use them to be the contact with the insurance company and to perform the roof replacement. I felt confident from their work experience and professional knowledge that they could communicate with the insurance adjuster and install a quality product. They did both. I spent many, many hours researching what company to go with for my roof replacement, and I’m so glad I went with Hopewell Roofing. I am very thankful I found Hopewell Roofing to install my new roof and gutters. They had Santos and the crew out for the install within a few days of signing our contract. They came in early that morning and we had a brand new roof by late that afternoon. Cleanup was impeccable. Oscar and Ramon did the gutters in one day as well. These guys are awesome. I needed a new roof on a cabin in the North Georgia mountains. I reached out to about a dozen companies with a quote request. Hopewell was one of the few that came out in person to view the property. Jason heard my concerns about the way the old roof was set up before working on a quote, and understood exactly what I was looking for. I took a few weeks before approving the quote, and they were not pressuring at all. Reminders every 7-10 days that they were there if i needed them. After approving the quote, they were out the next week. Work was done in a day, and looks absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend Hopewell for all your roofing needs. This company did the roofing for my house. They ripped off the old shingles, fixed the wood on the roof, and put the new shingles on. They did it all in one day, and even worked through the rain. Great, experienced work.

Our 24 year old roof needed replacement and I got 3 bids. Why did I select Andy? He showed up with a folder with all the data on GAF shingles, the warranty (which was far better than the other bids, at no extra cost) and insurance proof of coverage Document.
Great work, very clean job site overall great install, excellent flashing around brick Chimney. Finished in one day, at least a dozen workers and a project supervisor on site most of the day.

The guys did great work, cleaned up the debris, and even repaired some damage from falling shingles that occurred on a lower roof. Might not be the cheapest but I definitely recommend them!

Hopewell came out and installed a new roof, deck and GutterMate system on our home. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. They were informative, punctual, fast, clean and very affordable. Because they are a GAF Master Elite President’s Club installer, we were able to get the GAF Golden Pledge warranty which covers the shingles for 50 years and workmanship for 25 years. Andy is a wonderful person - very honest and down to earth. I wish there were more contractors out there like him. His crew was very professional, they arrived quickly and did an excellent job replacing my worn out roof. Andy also managed a siding replacement and house painting project for me, using a subcontractor, and they also, did an excellent job. The house looked brand new by the time they were done. If you want a no-nonsense estimate, quality workmanship and a transferable warranty, Hopewell Roofing is the gold standard.

I needed a new roof on my townhome so I met with 5 vendors and received 5 estimates. After doing an extensive review, I selected Hopewell Roofing because Andy is very knowledgeable of the GAF roofing system and because he was direct and honest in his approach when discussing options, roofing components, and pricing. Another important qualification for me was that Hopewell is a GAF Master Elite certified contractor. I worked with Jason on the day of my roof install (Sep 2023), and the install was done very professionally and was completed in less than a day. The clean up after the job was also outstanding and exceeded my expectations. The Hopewell team cleaned up every bit of debris and the dumpster was removed the same day. Following the install Andy worked with me to secure a GAF rebate (GAF Roofs for Troops veteran's rebate) and to also receive my GAF warranty paperwork. We used Hopewell Roofing to repair a leak in our roof. They did a wonderful job and we were so impressed that when my mother needed a total new roof and gutters on her house, we immediately called Hopewell Roofing. We had an excellent experience both times.
My mother’s roof replacement was due to weather damage and Andy Morrison helped me work with the insurance company to get everything handled. Andy was there for the insurance adjuster’s inspection of the roof. He reviewed the insurance reports with me to confirm we had what we needed to meet Georgia code. He also helped me select a roof color to complement the house’s exterior. We added gutters to the job and we were very pleased with the gutter installation and price. The gutter material they used was high quality and the dark bronze color gutter covers elevate the look of the home. We also had them replace the rusted chimney cupola and the results were beautiful. They did a spectacular job and we are thrilled with the outcome.
Andy and the entire Hopewell Roofing team were very professional, responsive, easy to work with and they left the job site neat and clean. They delivered on all their commitments, on time and in budget. UPDATE 08/30/2022:

Almost instantly after posting this review, Andy from Hopewell contacted me. He came out an inspected my roof to make sure there were no other issues (I had already replaced the leaky boot), and re-caulked the remaining boots.

He said that the boots were nailed at the bottom to prevent wind-driven rain from pulling up the boot. He also said the quoted $750 repair charge included replacing all my boots with newer boots that did not require nails in the bottom, which wasn't clear in the proposed invoice sent to me. In that context, that quote is more than fair; but I opted against it because the economy is not kind to me right now. I may hire them to come out and at least replace the one other boot that was for some reason nailed in at the bottom (I was mistaken about them all being nailed in the same).

Andy was exceptionally responsive to all my questions, and offered to do whatever it took to make sure my impression of Hopewell reflected the quality that he hopes to convey. I am a small business owner myself and appreciate the hard work involved in building and preserving a good reputation. No one likes for rain to pour into their ceiling. Nevertheless, Andy did all that I could ask any company to do if something is amiss - try to make it right. And he did it fast.

I have updated my rating to five stars because it is truly deserved. He or one of his roofers has been to my house three times in the past four days. I have left my original review below for clarity's sake. I would still strongly recommend that, if you have roof work done, you request boots that are not pinned in at the bottom. I would also recommend you call Hopewell, because they clearly will not simply take your money and run.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

Hopewell installed a roof for me around five years ago. First, let me say that this company was very responsive and installed our roof in a timely manner. They offered an "extended warranty" for labor, which I declined. I assumed their workmanship would be of high quality, whether I got the warrant or not.

After just a few years, water started showing up at the same spot in my ceiling that had prompted me to get a new roof in the first place. Aaron came out rather quickly - he has been professional and responsive throughout this process. Nevertheless, he could not find the problem, especially since it was not raining when he came. He asked me to check the attic the next time it rained to see if I could find the source.

I found the water coming in at a nail hole for the boot of a vent pipe (see photos). I texted Aaron, and he said that they could fix it for about $750.

When I went back up on the roof, I found the boot in question, and saw the problem. The boot had been nailed into the roof at the bottom, where no shingles cover it, and goop had been slathered over the top of the nail. The goop had, of course, hardened, and was now letting water in.

I am no roofer, but I feel confident in saying that this is improper work. Even if you buy a boot at Home Depot, the boot has templates showing that the nails go in at the top only, where the shingles prevent leakage.

To my horror, I checked all the other boots on my roof and they were treated the same way. I will now have to pay to have those replaced. Hopewell put so many nail holes in the boot in question that I am surprised it didn't leak sooner (see photo). Every nail hole is a new opportunity for potential water incursion.

Again, I am not a roofer. But I suggest you show these photos to a different roofer and ask them if this is good workmanship before you hire Hopewell. I suppose the best way for me to find out for sure is to reach out to Timberline to ask if this is how their certified roofers are supposed to install their shingles. It is unacceptable to me that I should be asked to pay $750 to repair a leak that was caused by their own installers. I don't care if it has been five years.

Had some issues initially getting a leaking roof repair done in a timely manner. When I expressed my discontent, the owner reached out and we came to a resolution. They replaced the roof within 1 day, including cleanup. I would recommend. If you have issues, give them a 2nd chance to make it right because they will.

I am trying to get a copy of my roof warranty, but have been unsuccessful. They are the best roofing company and I highly recommend them.

Lee Corum of Hopewell Roofing and Restoration was very knowledgeable and helpful in repairing rotted wood and installing new dryer vent in my roof.
Also the price was very reasonable.

I noticed a wet spot on an interior wall on Sunday night during a rain storm. Called Hopewell Monday morning and spoke with Lee. He was very courteous and knowledgeable, and was able to meet me at my home at 12:30 that day!! Lee was very thorough, extremely professional and looked over my roof and found a nickel sized hole going completely through the shingle. Lee repaired that hole and a couple of other small places on my roof, as well as going into the attic to check for any further water damage. I cannot recommend HIGHLY enough! Great experience!

Honesty, integrity and professionalism are words that come mind when I think of Hopewell. Excellent experience. They handled everything with my insurance company. My only complaint was that they dislodged the furnace vent pipes and did not reconnect them. This is VERY dangerous!! Luckily, I have a maintenance contract with the HVAC company and they caught it before I needed to turn on my heat!

My neighbor had used them and recommended them. I still went online through Better Business Bureau to check. They were the top pick on reviews. I had already gotten one estimate from a contractor. I was asked to request three from the BBB website so so did. The next day I heard from Hopewell. This has been 6 months ago and I am still waiting response from the other two. From start to finish I was kept informed from estimate to completion. The person that came out even was there when insurance adjuster came out. They completed the job in one day removing old shingles and tar paper to installing the new. They cleaned up like they had never been there. If you want reliable honest and good service look no further than these people.

Had issues with insurance to cover the cost of storm damage they worked with the insurance to cover the repair.

Hopewell Roofing recently replaced our roof and gutters, and repaired our stone chimney. And we're thrilled with the results. In each case their crews were skilled and used top notch materials. But my highest praise is reserved for my salesperson, James. He is a true customer advocate. He gave me a fair price, worked diligently with my insurance company and met with them in person on more than one occasion. He also stayed onsite during the 3 day roof installation to make certain the job went according to plan. Hopewell is an outstanding organization and we highly recommend them!

When I went over the following list of issues with Brandon (I had not previously met him until he came for payment), he literally told me, "Most of our good reviews started out bad." This is something I wish I had known before hiring Hopewell for a roof replacement.

The dumpster was supposed to be delivered the day before replacement, but did not arrive until the day of replacement after tear-off had started. It was put in front of the garage where my car was parked, leaving me blocked in until the next day when it was picked up, despite my being told it would be picked up the same day. When I pointed out that the driveway had been cracked, I was told it was like that before. This was from a man who had spent a total of about 20 minutes at my home. I have been in my home for over 20 years and no, it was not cracked before. (photo attached)

I was not told that my year-old attic fan was going to be removed and roofed over. I only discovered this after the roofers left and I could get outside for a better look. This is when it became clear why half of the power to my upstairs had gone out. They obviously cut something while removing the fan which caused the power outage.

I also saw a couple of places where there was cellophane material blowing in the wind. The only one I could get a picture of without a taller ladder was where there is a very questionable "hump." (photo attached) I do not know if there are other "humps" where I see cellophane blowing.

I had discussed with James (he provided me my estimate) that I was going to eventually replace areas of my siding that had not already been replaced. This just provided an excuse to not be held accountable for the damage to one area of siding that extended 12-14" above the shingles.

The absolute worst, irreparable part was the damage caused to THREE of my 25 year-old ornamental trees around my home. (2 photos attached). I saw my trees having the old roofing just being thrown and dropped on them. I went out three or four times to tell the the roofers to please be more careful with the trees. One roofer actually asked me which "one." I responded, "ALL of them!" That did not help. These trees were strategically placed and pruned for privacy.

The final straw was when I saw an extension ladder literally falling sideways past my window, hitting a Japanese maple and damaging the fascia and the gutter that it hit before taking off a chunk of my tree and damaging some shrubs. They were very quick to grab the broken branches and toss them in the dumpster but I had watched it happen. Fortunately no one was on the ladder, but that could have ended VERY differently.

James began calling me for payment four days after completion. Brandon was supposed to pick up a check, but I wanted to show him all of the damage. He cancelled two or three times with several excuses and, in the meantime, I received three or four calls from James wanting payment. Ultimately, my check did not clear until six weeks after it was dated. Finally, I ended up leaving work early to meet Brandon, but he was 40 minutes late (without calling). By the time he arrived, it was too dark to see all of the damage, but he could see the siding damage. They came back to replace the broken siding, but unfortunately used more caulk than they did siding. That was the extent of their making it right. (photo attached)

Also, I'm still waiting for a gutter quote that James was going to get with someone on for me. That was seven months ago. I would not let them back on my property anyway.

Hats off to all the crews that replaced the roof. They were very professional and completed replacing the roof in one day which included a complete clean up. As luck would have it, a down pour of rain came just as the old roof had been stripped down to the wood which caused damage to the ceilings inside our home. James immediately started working on getting his crew of painters out to repair the damage. The gutter crew also completed the job in one day and were very professional. Without question, Hopewell Roofing, James, Brandon, and all their crews get a five star rating from this family.
