We had HomeWorks of GA not only replace the shingles on our roof, but they also built a roof structure over our concrete patio. I wanted to use large rough-cut timbers for the post and beams. This was no problem for David Browne and his crew. They worked diligently and professionally taking pride in their work with an unmatched attention to detail! Our roof was old and didn't have a ridge vent. They installed a ridge vent, removed and replaced all the shingles, roofed the addition and were very meticulous in their clean-up. David with Homework is very kind and professional. He went over all of the details of my roof replacement needs, explained my options, and what I could expect the day of installation. Everything was completed in the 1 day time frame David stated it would be. The roofers were friendly, professional and thoughtfully protected my plants and flowers from debris. My new roof looks great and I am grateful to have the 10 yr warranty on the installation.

I would highly recommend Homeworks. David communicated with me thru the entire process of getting a new roof. He even spoke to the insurance company, explaining to them what was really needed compared to what they thought was needed. I told him there was a critter in my attic and he made sure to seal off what areas he could. Plus they did a good job cleaning up afterwards.

When I first met David at my initial consult, I immediately liked him. I've been in services business for 20+ years and it was obvious he was professional as he was early, knowledgeable and thoughtful as we had conversations around our specific project.

In addition to a full re-shingle, we also had a few special needs including some rotten wood on our oversized overhangs, some sagging in the A-frame in one section and the need to replace 3 skylights and add 2 new. There were several options we worked through until we came to the answers most likely to lead to success.

Pricing for the project was very competitive and David was extremely thorough during the planning phase which lasted 10-ish days or so. By the time the crew was on site, they completed the entire project in about a day and a half which was the result of a good crew and even better planning.

About 6 months later I had some minor issues in the areas where the wood had been replaced in the overhang & sagging portion of roof. David responded to me immediately, came out and assessed and had a crew on site to repair the issues all in a couple of days.

My two cents- when you're working on a big project, you have to go with the team you think can and will do the right things when the unexpected arises- which it always does. For that reason, I recommend Homeworks of GA.

David and his team were excellent. They replaced the original slate roof on our 120 year old home and did a beautiful job. Dave took the time to thoroughly inspect the roof, patiently explaining the issues and presenting me with a comprehensive plan for the replacement. What impressed me the most was his genuine passion for his work and his commitment to ensuring my complete satisfaction.

David's company was contacted to completely redo and finish a screened porch project that the first contractor weed unable to complete. We researched, obtained estimates, and decided to use David's company based on recommendations Ultimately, David did not measure properly for the screen door re-install. Rather than correcting the proper way, he rigged parts of the installation using an old piece of wood and a nickel. Measurements for proper installation of the screen were off by at least a half inch. Consequently, the screen door did not close and operate properly. David did not performm work in accordance with our agreement,wishes and expectations. Also, he refused to acknowledge solutions to his mistakes. David failed to adequately communicate changes in the project status. Often, we initiated calls for completion updates. Aside from inclement weather adjustments, project completion was well beyond expectation and agreement. When contacted about problems, David blamed issues on the door being damaged by the previous installer and that he had to search for parts in the mulch; a totally false excuse.
Services and expense ($400) of a skilled professional was necessary to correct errors and re-install the screened porch door to function properly.

David responded almost immediately to an online request I made for soffit and facia repair. I was pleasantly amazed at how fast the response was. They were able to come out within 3 days of the response and did a fantastic professional job fixing a soffit and facia that had been previously "repaired" by another company. Excellent job and would highly recommend them.
