We couldn't find any interior doors locally for our Brownstone renovation project in Brooklyn, NY. Found Homestead Doors through internet search. Sent them an inquiry, received a call back in a matter of hours. Sent them sketches, Homestead prepared shop drawings. Provided finish samples that Homestead went out of their way to match. Took (3) rounds but they nailed it.
Just received our set of (6) new interior doors. Perfecto !! Great workmanship, great service. Very happy with our new doors.

Excellent service, quick production of fully custom 4 panel, 7' doors. John was a pleasure to deal with and helped us talk through all of the options and his ideas saved us a fair amount too. The cherry and double-glazed glass Mission-style double doors to the wine closet are a key architectural feature!

I ordered knotty alder solid wood doors from Jesse. He made the process easy and everything was up front. The doors are better than what I expected. They finished real nice and installed with a breeze. Hidden screws behind the door stop made installation a breeze and I could make adjustments if needed. The jambs were solid alder making the unit sturdy for these doors. The crate was well packaged and every door was in perfect shape. I would recommend Homestead Doors if your looking for quality doors.

We just finished remodeling our home in Marco Island Florida. An important part of the project involved installing 26 new raised panel, 1 3/4” thick solid wood doors , frames, and hardware, which we bought from Homestead Doors. The workmanship was amazingly good! The solid wood frames and doors were perfectly cut to size, machined, and ready for installation as promised. The factory finish they applied was the best I could have hoped for. Homesteads’ customer service throughout the entire process was excellent. We couldn’t be happier!

My husband and I built a custom timberframe home in the mountains of western NC. When I went looking for doors that were higher quality than the usual, I found Homestead Doors. I worked with Jake there to design a craftsman mahogany door for our main entrance, and purchased a variety of stock doors for the interior made from different woods. We were celebrating woods throughout our home and used knotty alder, cherry and maple. After living in that home for 12 years, we decided to downsize and build another one town over. Because of our excellent experience with Jake, and Homestead Doors, I contacted them again! Our new home is quite different in style, I call it a modern craftsman, and our interior doors are different that what we had in the previous home, but no less beautiful. And our main door, a craftsman style, is made of quartersawn oak and is incredibly impressive in it's weight and construction. The service at Homestead is one-on-one as you work to choose stain colors and designs that suit your needs. Jake bent over backwards to please us and we would highly recommend Homestead to anyone. While the prices went up a bit from our previous construction, at that time we didn't spend any more than we would have with the "lesser" doors that came with our home package. Still, the quality and beauty of the doors we have now, confirm that we made an excellent choice in our door provider. The shipping dates promised were timely and kept. And we've had three friends build new homes in the past two years who have asked for Homestead's contact information. Our custom home builder was so impressed that he often recommends them too! I cannot praise Homestead Doors enough!

Our order arrived in perfect condition and entirely correct. The doors were beautiful before they were finished. My wife and I spent 2 months finishing them and they are absolutely stunning. Great job Homestead!

We were so pleased with our doors and the service we got during the ordering process. Tom was wonderful to listen to what we wanted and was so patient as we made decisions. We ordered exterior French doors and he was able to find just what we wanted at a reasonable price. We also got interior doors that had very specific details and we are so pleased. Can’t wait to get them installed in our new house.
I was skeptical about ordering doors on line without seeing them, but we are so glad we did. Even with the shipping costs, the doors were less than any other comparable doors from local dealers. We would recommend Homestead to anyone wanting a quality product at a good price. We also thank Tom for being so customer friendly.

If I could rate them lower, I would. We are updating our interior doors and ordered through Homestead doors. We ordered prehung doors which arrived disassembled. I had specifically asked in an email before ordering if they were prehung and Bob replied that they were. When I called after the doors were delivered, Bob preceded to tell me that is the only way they ship their doors and that if we weren’t able to put them together, “ there was no way in hell we would be able to hang the doors” This is the worst and most disrespectful customer service I have ever received. I’m not the expert, that’s why I asked the questions before I ordered. Telling me to hire a carpenter to install them is not customer service.

Excellent company to do business with. High quality solid wood doors custom made to size/order without the custom price. This really helped us as we required a few odd sized doors for closets built into roof eaves on the second floor. Tom was great and helped ensure we properly spec'd out all the doors for our new house build. Quality and price were significantly better than "off the shelf" similar doors at big box stores. Homestead doors stands behind their products. We had an issue with a couple of doors which they resolved to our satisfaction within 48 hours. Would purchase from them again and highly recommend to others in need of new doors.

Homestead Doors has a large selection of interior and exterior doors. Hand made Amish wood doors are also widely available. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The majority of their business is done online. They can ship their products World wide. I would highly recommend this company for any remodeling or new construction project.

Restored an historic church into a private residence. Needed custom doors to fit the grand entrances with gothic arches. Homestead Doors did an absolute fabulous job!! The doors are African Mahogany and they look perfect! We had speakeasy’s placed in all exterior door which gives them that custom- over the top look. Homestead also made all the interior doors, all of which are 8’ tall, again perfect. I will be using Homestead Doors for another historic building. Absolute pleasure to work with.
