Not a good experience. they were supposed to fix a leak. They didn’t come into the house to see where the leak was so I can show them. I have ring doorbell and plus one day came and worked on the leak but that wasn’t where the leak was but i didn’t know for sure and they didn’t replace the shingles with the same ones that I had on it lol. I am amazed with the lack of professionalism and communication with her customers

Home Concepts Roofing was recommended to us by a family friend and I want to recommend them to others. They sent out a crew shortly after being contacted to understand why we were getting leaks around the chimney of our tin roof. The leaks had been an issue for us since the house was built about 8 years ago. The original builder had tried to fix it several times without success. After the initial visit, James contacted me with a per worker price and how many workers would be needed. Because there was some more impending bad weather, he sent three workers to make sure the work was done on time and still kept his word to only charge for two. I also appreciated the fact I was treated so fairly and timely even though this was not an insurance job. The workers were on-time, very hard working, polite, and cleaned up everything. Also, after several hard rains since, we have not seen any additional leaks. It is refreshing that we now have a trusted roofer that we can call when the need arises!

We had a leak that we noticed late in the day, we called and they sent someone out within 2 days and got it fixed within a week (the week of of Christmas as well!). We were extremely happy with the communication, work, and entire experience. We will happily recommend them to anyone and will use them again if the need arises.

I've used them twice now and have been extremely happy with the results. The first time, I changed my attic vents from the box vents to the ridge vents which helped my hvac unit from having to work as hard.

Recently, they did a full roof replacement from the recent hail storm. He was able to handle the insurance for me and the owner was in constant communication on the status of everything. When the job was finished, they came out an extra time with the magnet roller to ensure that my family shouldn't step on any errant nails. It's always great supporting local businesses as well. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I was told they would be out to give me an estimate on a certain day and time and did not bother to call and say they wouldn’t be here. I had to call. Finally came out and was supposed to email the estimate and have not received it. They wanted to fix roof with shingles they had in truck that would not even match my roof!

Strong winds took several shingles off my roof. I called Home Concepts for an inspection and a quote. They performed both within 24 hrs and were out doing the repair the next day. They even pointed out other issues I had and repaired those as well. Probably saved future issues. I would strongly recommend them and WILL use them in the future.

Following a very windy rainstorm I had damage and leaking around my chimney. James came to my home and assessed the damage and gave me an estimate for the repair. His estimate was detailed and he explained the damage and how the work would be completed. Repairs were completed with a job well done! He provided photos before and after the job was finished.

We had to replace our roof because of wind and hail damage. I had 3 companies look at my roof and talk to me about replacement and by far, Home Concepts was the best. I had a full email description with a breakdown of costs and options. It was very professional. The quality of the work was excellent and I felt like the best material was used after researching it myself. Had a major leak in roof coming from a porch being attached to back of home. James Heath is an outstanding person in charge He explained my problem and took picture so we could see it. At our age not able to get up there and check it. He was a very polite and great manners. Attitude was exceptional. I will recommend him to anyone we know that needs roofing done or repaired. His crew came out two days later and beginning working. We had two layers of roofing to rip off and his crew kept it as clean as possible. His clean up after the jobs was outstanding. He took pictures before and after and his guarantee carries forward to a potential future owner. Couldn’t be happier with the great work they recently did on our roof. I feel like they went above and beyond to repair the damage from the prior roof replacement that another company did not complete properly allowing a leak to form around our chimney. They completed the job in less than a day and left the work site cleaner than they found it. So thankful for the wonderful job they did at a very reasonable price.

The Owner of this company is very thorough and detail oriented he will explain what issues you have and what it takes to fix them right the fist time . They started at 730 and were done by noon . Very thorough with clean up . Walking the yard multiple times to get all yeah and nails. The work was excellent . couldnt imagine a better job . Always give reviews either positive or negative. I would give 0 if an option. James never keeps customer informed and has bad attitude when you contact him to follow up so you can make a schedule yourself. I guess he thinks he can show up whenever. I would hate to see how he would handle a situation for warranty work. He told me 2-3 days of no rain then when I called him out he said he needed 4 days no rain. I have been on the schedule for 3 plus weeks and he always had some excuse. I get this work is weather permitting but at least make an attempt when you have several good days in a row. Customers call this business because they need something addressed immediately not months down road when it is finally worse. I had high hopes because of the 5 star review. Definitely not what I expected and this guy isn’t deserving of my money. At least Andrea is nice who handles the scheduling.

Some of our shingles were damaged due to high winds and I called to set an appointment for an inspection/quote. Home Concept was able to come see our roof the very same day and returned the following day and made the repairs as they were concerned about rain in the forecast. I didn’t have the chance to see James once the repairs were made. I did however receive a voicemail from the office stating James sent his apologies for having to leave abruptly in order to go do another repair before it got too dark.
Very pleased with the service ,the concern shown for our roof issues and overall experience with Home Concept. Andrea in the office is very kind, informative and returned my calls promptly.

My husband and I contacted Home Concepts Roofing after a big tree limb had fallen on our roof. we called them hoping for a quick fix, but it turned out we had far more damage than we had originally been aware of. This is our first home and we had been under the impression that the roof had been replaced entire only a few years ago and if it hadnt been for James and his team's expertise the water damage to our house could have been so much worse. He even replaced damaged and rotting plywood for us without adding an extra charge, which we are both very grateful for!

They also were great about communication (shout out to Andrea for answering all our questions and making sure the timeline was clear for us), finished everything quicky, and left the area cleaner than they found it once everything was done. Fantastic job!

These guys got a call from me after I cut a tree onto my house, poking a few holes in the roof. They had someone come out the same day, assess and put plastic over the holes. That was a Wed. Then, on Labor Day, they came out and patched the roof up. It looks really good and the service was fantastic! Thanks James and crew!

First we made a call & they got right back with us !! We had gotten estimates from other roofing companies & decided to get 1 more after seeing a sign at a neighbors ... wish we had seen it sooner & saved a lot of time !! James explained why he felt they were the BEST in all areas & especially the materials they use with NO up charge ! We wanted a ridge vent & explained the pros of that as well & included that . He took time to answer our many questions & was patient & we believe he truly cares about the customer. We wanted to change colors & they gave us addresses to view roof colors . We also got an estimate for new gutters as we had a problem with our back porch overflowing. James suggested if we did go that route that he uses nothing but the larger gutter & that should fix the problem with a better slope & left that decision to us ...so we got new gutters & covers so hopefully no more gutter cleaning ! AND PROBLEM fixed ........THANK YOU JAMES & MIKE ....you guys are great Blessings to you both & your families .

We had just a small amount of storm damage - a downspout had come off and a little bit of shingle damage. Not enough for an insurance claim. I had called 4 other companies to try and get these repairs done and I guess it was too little of work for them to be interested. I called Home Concepts at the recommendation of a neighbor and got a quote within a day or two, and the work was completed within a couple weeks. We are very satisfied with the work, and just wished we had called them sooner! When it comes time for a full roof replacement, we will be calling Home Concepts!

Home Concepts Roofing repaired multiple issues with our roof (not orig done by HCR 5 yrs ago). They were fantastic and the crew was very diligent in getting everything finished up even through a pop up storm that rolled through, they were amazing!!! I really can’t recommend them enough, I was very impressed. Even the estimate was way more thorough than I’m used to seeing, this is an awesome company!

These guys are fantastic. Reasonably priced, they work really hard to get you on the schedule ASAP. The work is top notch! We were very impressed with their service and have plans to have more work done next year.

I LOVE my new roof and I am so pleased with my Home Concepts Roofing experience! James made himself available to meet with my insurance adjuster, which made the process so smooth. His wife answered the phone every time I called and even sent me addresses of homes to drive by to help me decide on my color choice. James stopped by and personally walked me through the roofing process before signing the contract. He explained the rationale behind the materials he uses and the layers of protection they provide. The materials were delivered and the work was completed within two days. The workers were so friendly and kind. They left the property cleaner than they found it. James even came back again to check the completed work and roll the yard with the magnet roller one last time to check for nails. James took pictures of each step of the process and shared them with me for my records.

I was very impressed by Home Concepts Roofing. They gave us a good quote and followed through in every way. The quote was one of the lower ones, so I was concerned about quality at first, but after reading reviews I went with them and I'm glad I did. They were open with us from the beginning about costs, timing, and the process, and followed through on everything. One of James' main guys came out to meet with the adjustor from the insurance company and was very helpful. I had a couple of minor concerns at the end, and they actually apologized that it took them a full day to get out to fix them (at the busiest time of their year!). The crew was great and very respectful, and the cleanup was complete and well done. James came out personally to make sure I was satisfied in every respect - I was! I strongly recommend this company.

We recently used Home Concepts to fix a job done poorly by another contractor. We found James to be very honest and professional. He is knowledgeable and provided is with a much better solution at a fair price. He found some squirrel damage to a soffit and even fixed that it at no extra charge while he was up there!

July2019: Just had my second job completed. Another great job, which was yet another easy and feel good transaction!

Had a roof leak early on a Sunday morning. Called ten different companies. Finally called Home Concepts and was blessed with an answer by a real person. They were quick to respond. Highly reccomend Home Concepts Roofing. They are the best!

Highly recommend Home Concepts. James came out, inspected the roof damage, explained how he'd perform the repairs and let me know how much it would cost. Work was completed per our agreement a couple of days later. No surprises and no drama. Great job!

Simply put they were to busy to make the appointment. We made special arrangements with work to have someone home and they called 5 minutes before appointment saying they couldn't make it. Rescheduled for later in the day between 4-6 and got a call after 7pm requesting to reschedule. I’m needeing addressed quickly so I am looking elsewhere.

James came out and gave a great quote and then dealt with my insurance company for me. The workers did a wonderful job on my 120 year old house with a very steep pitched roof, removed a dilapidating chimney, and now I even have roof vents to which I didn't have before. They did an awesome job and I love my new beautiful roof!!

I am a Realtor here in Scott Co. The day before we were supposed to close on my clients home they were selling, the home inspector did a final walk through and found the roof had still been leaking. My seller had hired another contractor to make that repair a couple weeks prior, but it was still leaking. Everyone was nervous and trying to figure out what to do.
At 6pm the day before closing I gave James a call to see if he had any availability to come take a look. He met us at the house at 8AM the following morning. He was actually there a couple minutes early. He looked everything over, gave us a quote and came back a couple hours later and made the repair the way it should have been done the first time. And not to mention he had it finished before we closed!!

He made a VERY stressful situation for the buyer and the seller soooo much better!!!

Edited because I can't make a new review.... but I had them back June 2020 to replace the roof. I knew what to expect from start to finish including the delivery of materials to the clean up process. Same great experience as before and now I have a beautiful roof that will last a lifetime!

After seeing work Home Concepts Roofing completed at a neighbors home, I contacted them to replace my gutters. The office staff was friendly and set up a convenient time that worked around my schedule. The crew showed up at the promised time and wasted no time getting started. As they were removing the old gutters they found unexpected water damage to the roof. James explained in detail what had to be done and answered all of my questions. Work continued and a little later I went out to check the progress. I thought they had left for lunch but noticed they had made all the necessary repairs, everything was cleaned up, the new gutters were installed, and they had secured the gates behind them. They did such a good job cleaning up that I didn’t have to worry about my dogs going out to play in the back yard finding scraps, insulation, or even stepping on nails. They were very easy to do business with. I’d definitely recommend them to others and use them again! Thanks guys!!
