I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone! They recently replaced our roof, soffit, and gutters, and did an excellent job. The house looks so much better and we have peace of mind knowing the job was done right. Tyler was amazing to work with. He went above and beyond in every way. During the initial quote process, he came out to the house to show us materials and walk us through company information online. They were the only company to do that. Once we got started, he was quick to communicate any updates regarding scheduling, and was always available to answer questions. We got quotes from four different companies. We narrowed it down to two (one of which was a slightly lower quote), but ultimately chose Bluegrass because of Tyler. We went with our instinct, and I'm glad we did! We had a stress-free experience from beginning to end, and it felt like we were working with friends.

The guys worked hard until it was done and all in one day. Beautiful outcome and am total amazed and happy. Cannot say enough about Tyler, great guy to work with. Will call if their services are ever needed again.

Bluegrass Roofing was one of several companies we reached out to based on recommendations from neighbors. We went with them for several reasons. First, Tyler gave an incredibly detailed presentation about the company and showed video footage of our roof, explaining what the problems were and how they would fix them. Second, their pricing was the best. But third and perhaps most important, he did not talk down to me because I was a woman (compare with the other companies who asked if they could talk to my husband instead!) All in all, I had a good instinct about them and I wasn't disappointed. Within a few days of them first coming out, I had a new roof installed. Great follow-up service and I couldn't be happier. I've already recommended them to several colleagues.

After the recent storms we found our roof had leaked through the attic, across our ceiling and down the walls. We called Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting after they had replaced a roof on my mother in laws home which looks great. Danny Land came to look at the damaged leaking area as soon as it was safe to do so. (within 24 hours). He tarped the area so we would not have any further roof leak issues, as there was still rain in the forecast. We received a fair repair estimate for the repair work and also asked if they could repair some damaged / missing trim. All repair work was completed quickly and well.

By far and away the best customer service that I've ever dealt with regarding a contractor. Both John & Tyler are excellent people to deal with and they go out of their way to make it a great experience for you. Their crews were also quick to do great quality work, nor did they overcharge for work in my neighborhood......as some contractors have done in the past.

I would highly recommend bluegrass roofing and consulting to anyone. I needed a full roof replacement. Within a day of me calling, Tyler was at my house for an initial consultation. Tyler was there every step of the way. From meeting with the insurance adjuster, picking out shingles and services, final inspection, and all the questions in between. My roof was completely replaced in less than a day. Zero trash, debris, or nails were left in my yard or landscaping. The price for replacement was great as well. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. They made the process easy and painless.

We had wind damage to our roof that needed to be repaired. We had gotten quotes from other companies, but they suggested we try to get our insurance to replace it but weren't helpful with how to do that. We called Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting and they came out and put a tarp on the roof until it could be repaired. They walked us through the insurance process and met with the insurance adjuster. When insurance said they wouldn't replace it, they repaired it quickly and were the most affordable quote we received. It looks good and has held up through all the crazy wind we have had since it was repaired.

I was able to get on their schedule in less than 24 hours. Team members (including Tyler and Chris) were friendly, accommodating, and hard-working. Have had no issues with my flashing since. I would recommend them to anyone! Even offer a discount that sets their quality workmanship at a price lower than other estimates I got. If you have any roofing or gutter needs, call them and you will not regret it!!

We received three bids for our roof work, all with very similar materials and warranties. The third bid was from Tyler, with Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting. Not only was his bid significantly lower than the others, but he was not aware of the other bids when he made his. In addition to that, he was able to get his crew out to our house to do the work in a few days, not 3-5 weeks like the others. All the work was completed in one day, and they did an excellent job. Tyler gave us a great choice of different shingle styles/colors, and was able to deliver on time, just as he promised. If we ever need a new roof again, we will definitely call Tyler with Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting.

This is the second time we are giving Tyler Carpenter 5 stars. Our first review is below. Today 4/3/25 we had roof damage from a bad storm in Richmond. We called in the morning and Tyler came to our home within an hour and while it was raining secured a tarp on our roof and is getting back to us with an estimate. We would highly recommend Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting. The representative, Tyler responded to our inquiry promptly and provided an estimate the same day. Since it was a small repair he was able to repair the soffit, fascia and exposed nail heads himself. He did an excellent job and also completed a roof and attic inspection. We were very pleased with the work, the fair price and outstanding customer service. We will use Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting in the future for our roofing needs.

My wife and I recently contacted Bluegrass Roofing & Consulting to schedule a roof inspection—we're selling our home and wanted to make sure there were no areas of concern for potential buyers. Robert was the representative that showed up to do the inspection. He was very courteous, easy to talk to, and thorough in his inspection. He was up on the roof quickly and checked closely for loose or damaged shingles, signs of hail damage, and looked for drainage issues. The explanation of his findings was very clear and detailed, backed up by photos that were taken during the inspection. No areas of concern were found, but Robert did point out areas that could be improved for good maintenance purposes.

To provide context for readers, this reviewer was the “roof-replacement point person” for a six-unit condominium association located in an historic building (~1812) in downtown Lexington. Any upgrades to the building’s common elements — such as our large roof — are determined through a slow, uneven process of collective decision making. In short, we are not an easy client for a business to deal with and working with us requires patience, perseverance and attention to regular communication. After getting estimates from four other roofing companies, Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting — via it’s family representative, Duncan Lewis — was the only one that demonstrated all these qualities even when there were no guarantees that they would ultimately land the job. In addition, Duncan offered to meet — then did — with the gathered members of our condo association to explain BGR&C’s process for tearing-out and replacing the old shingles, the what-and-how of the new materials, and how the clean-up would be handled. He was even kind enough to participate in this meeting after normal business hours. Ultimately, BGR&C won the job because Duncan stuck with us and, over a two-and-a-half month period, demonstrated dependability, integrity, honesty, and attention to detail through every in-person meeting, text message and email. Ultimately, BGR&C completed our roof replacement in a day-and-a-half with a highly competent, well-choreographed crew of 12-15 men. The results are beautiful. Finally, I should mention that BGR&C took on a second project that entailed tearing out and replacing a leaking roof deck in one of our condo units — an ongoing issue that had been botched by two prior roofing companies. BGR&C found and fixed the leak. Subsequent rains have since tested and proven the quality of their work. As a small, local (Georgetown), family-owned company, Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting has earned my respect and admiration. I recommend them without hesitation.

Bluegrass Roofing and Consulting did top notch job on our roof replacement. I called six roofing companies for quotes, and they were all in the same ballpark on price. A majority of them were satellite imagery quotes with no presentation of the company. I picked them because of Tyler's professional presentation of the company and their products. He went old school and climbed on the roof and took video to show me how bad it was. In these days of virtual everything it is nice to do business in person off the bat. The crew did a great job, they were fast and clean. My wife left to work looking at the old roof and came home to new finished one. I highly recommend this company. GREAT JOB!!

I recently had a hail damage claim that required me to get a new roof. Duncan came to the house and talked me through the process. From there, he handled everything with the insurance company and all steps in the process of installing my new roof and gutters. He was extremely professional and an excellent communicator throughout the process. A piece of my deck furniture got damaged by some dropped shingles. I notified him, and I was given the funds to get that piece reordered with no questions asked. I highly recommend Bluegrass Roofing. The workmanship was high quality, Duncan was very professional, and I am thrilled with the end result.

Tyler Carpenter just left after reviewing the roofing crew's work. He shared before and after photos of all the work performed. The quality of their work is excellent including matching the color of the fascia, flashing and shingles. I had this roof put on 9 years ago by another vendor. Their work was suspect at the time, but until I had some fascia pull away after some recent high winds, I had no idea of a few additional problems. Tyler developed a plan to address all the issues with photo documentation. The next day, today, 2.5 hours of work later, I have a great roof again. They were out promptly to give me an estimate on reroofing and fascia repair, showed documentation of the condition of the roof, carefully explained my options, were able to do the work only a few weeks later, were careful with my landscaping, did the work in one day, cleaned up well and did excellent follow-up. Since part of my job involved fascia repair, it was really great that they could get to the job promptly.

When one of the stronger storms came by back in March, we noticed we had some shingles come off our roof and called in to see how much it'd take to get them replaced. The team came out to look it over, and they helped us replace all the shingles and some and even some of our siding by talking to our insurance! For reference we've tried called our insurance before to help repair our roof from damage and they denied us, but with the help of Robert and Tyler who came out to talk with the adjuster, this time we were approved. Very nice guys, and when our roof was repaired the crew did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards as well. Thank you guys!

I had a small roofing repair job. Called three roofing companies. The first I text and person was very friendly, would arrange appointment times & kept rescheduling. Eventually stopped hearing from him at all. The second roofing company I called, was very friendly, came out to look at the job, was coming the next day to do it. I had to reschedule & they said to let them know about rescheduling. I did that the following day and never heard from them again. Then I called Pinnacle Roofing (Richmond, KY). Very friendly, sent someone out immediately and they completed my job evening sending me pictures of what they did. Whenever I need a new roof, I will be calling them. They did the work at a very reasonable price.

Alex worked with us closely to be sure all required repairs were in the estimate for insurance purposes. Very easy to work with, and responsive. Crew was on site at the exact time and date specified. Materials were on site ahead of time. Checked flashing and facia, even asked if I wanted an old antenna mount removed. Very thorough attention to detail.
