HNU Energy

The Company HNU Energy is like NO OTHER Solar Company. They are Scientist, Inventors, Engineering locally owned eco-friendly on Maui in Kahului for over 18 years. Their main focus on Quality Installations with Lasting Customer Satisfaction. Not like these other companies that are here today and done tomorrow. Since our Lahaina Wildfire on 8/8/23 three solar companies have gone under here on Maui. Mainland solar companies come and go and where are they after they install our peoples solar project. HNU Energy has over 30 Patents to their name. They work for the Military on our Haleakala Observatory making lenses. They work for Nasa and they are on the space station. They even won the 2011 Maui County Energy Award in 2011. They have mostly done large commercial Solar jobs and make their own battery here on Maui called the HIVE. They have done jobs like the Andaz in Wailea, The Marriotts, Maui Community College and Hickam Military Base on Oahu just to name a few. Now they have came out with a NEW Stackable and Wall Mount Energy Storage call the HIVE. More capacity, less labor cost, different in size comparison which takes up less space, better price, 12 year warranty and made with the safest chemistry. What's not to LOVE beside Made on Maui to take Amazing Care of our People and that they are here to service our people. They stand behind their product and their customer service I can tell you from experience was OVER the TOP. Last year they didn't have their new Hive Home Battery on the market yet and I wanted PV Solar on my home here in Napili. No solar company would touch my home because of my tiles on my roof. They break easily and my neighbor had a solar company come install his panel on the same kind of tile like my home. Well when it rain the solar company had drill threw their roof and water started coming into their home. They had to remove the solar panels, removed all the tiles and replace the roof and then reinstall of their PV panels. The solar company took no responsibility for the damage they caused by neighbor. They were giving away free roof tile to the neighbors since all the home in this one subdivision had the same kind of roof tiles. I of course took quite a few since their were broken tiles on my roof just from installing my water heater solar years ago. HNU came over and took 3 tiles and had special clips made for my roof. I asked them to remove my 3 solar water heater and they did and under those 3 solar panel all of my tiles were broken. HNU without charging me anything, replace those tiles, that I had extra one of, fix another area that was a problem on my roof and even clean my gutter when they were up there. Talk about going the extra mile for my with Excellent Customer Service. I would of never known that I had those problems on my roof and they even took picture for me to see what they were talking about. All my other bids were Tesla Batteries. They would not install Testa for back up batteries and I asked why. They installed Franklins because they were a better battery. All I did was google Tesla vs Franklin and I got my answer. Now that they make their own home battery this year I wanted to HIVE and they said Barbie you got a good battery. Most companies would do it and I would of spent the extra $ but not HNU. I'm so proud of who they are and what they stand for. FACT - If you go with HNU you will be a Satisfied Customer just like me. GO HNU!!
