H & L Roofing has done a wonderful job replacing our roof. Their personnel are professional and courteous. We recommend this company to anyone in need of any of their services. The only reason we gave them a five star rating is that ten star isn't available. ❤️

Update: adjusting my review as communication has been lacking for a new job I was interested in them have do. Emails have not been responded to in almost a month and they keep pushing back a time frame for when we could expect a quote for weeks now. At this point I feel I am being ghosted and they do not want to do the job.

Manuel and his team did such a great job for us. This is a company that is true and honest and will not try to pressure you into a full blown roof replacement if you don't need one. I would definitely use them in the future.

After getting a number of expensive estimates, it was refreshing to meet Manuel. He simply explained the repairs that we needed and gave us an affordable price. He was also genuinely kind and helpful through the whole process. Highly recommend this company!

We could not be happier with Manuel, Glenda and the entire staff. Our quote was competitive and we were invoiced the amount we were quoted, there were no hidden charges, Manuel kept me in the loop by calling me anytime something came up (rotted wood or other issues) and the finished product is better than I had hoped for. They showed up on time, did the work with gusto while also doing it correctly. It was nice not having to worry that the work would be done on time and that it would be done right. I wish I could write reviews like this for everyone, but not all places deserve the praise these folks do. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with H&L Roofers, we had them come out to do some roof repairs, and another project to replace our vinyl siding. Their workmanship is EXCELLENT! They were prompt to come out and look at the jobs, gave us a proposal with a day, and then started the work very quickly. I would use them again!

Super happy with my new roof! Got prices from several different companies, and H&L was far and away the best value. I also appreciated that unlike some of their larger competitors I didn't feel like I was being sold a used car when picking my options. Glenda the office administrator kept open a strong line of communication from start to finish, and most importantly the work met any and all expectations I had going on. A+

Top notch work and incredibly professional and honest. They have done 2 roofing jobs for us and I will never call anybody else. Yesterday, I called Manuel, the owner, for a roofing job on our shed and his team showed up this morning and did the work in 1 day. Highly recommend!

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
