High Plains Contracting

Over 20k project! My real estate client hired them to rebuild a deck and there was ONE stair step that was level. We all agree that's unacceptable. He claimed his bid didn't include facia and cap rails and that people order decks without those items all the time. The wood was splintered and too rough to hold on to but sanding and cap rails or post caps were also not included. Exposed screws and many screws that didn't connect to supporting beams. He continued to stand by his visibly shoddy work defending it by the fact the the City off on it. If I could give a lower review I would. Beware.

I wanted my deck redone. They came and gave me a quote for $2,500. I thought that was really low but wanted to move forward. It took several attempts but I heard back and they said they accidently transposed the numbers and it was $5,200. I thought about it and decided to move forward. Again, it took several attempts from me to get communication back and forth and a contract signed but finally did. I got a call Tuesday that they would be doing the work Friday. This process had taken 2-3 weeks. Tonight, the night before the work was to be done after I had moved all of the furniture off my deck, I get an email saying they are canceling the job because materials are too expensive and they won't make enough profit. They didn't know this any sooner?! So unprofessional!

The high wind a few weeks ago damaged my back fence. I called Mr. TD to give me an estimate to fix the fence. He responded right away and On the same day Mr. TD worked with my insurance and got approved. Mr. TD put my fence on his scheduled next day. Mr. TD is very wonderful to work with, very good with price and quality with his work. Thank you.
