Customer feedback indicates a mixed sentiment towards the company's products and services. While some customers applaud the responsiveness and professionalism of the staff, others express significant dissatisfaction with the quality of craftsmanship and lack of clear communication regarding installation methods. This duality in experiences highlights potential issues in product delivery and customer service consistency. The positive reviews emphasize timely service, while negative feedback raises concerns about workmanship and transparency in communication.
- High Desert was very responsive, and great to work with.
- They had told us we were two weeks out, and then were able to squeeze us in between some other clients.
- Jake, their estimator and installer was friendly and informative.
- Extremely dissatisfied with the quality of craftsmanship for what these screens cost.
- The screen in front isn’t even tight in the frame as you can see in the picture.
- They are done fast and the tab isn’t even long enough to cover the screw.

Extremely dissatisfied with the quality of craftsmanship for what these screens cost. The screen in front isn’t even tight in the frame as you can see in the picture. They are made out of the truck at your home. When I asked how they would be mounted I was told tabs, never told they would be screwed into my home. Not only that but they are done fast and the tab isn’t even long enough to cover the screw and you can see they aren’t even in straight. Have a big window in front that as a little window above asked about 2 screens and was told normally they do one but can put a decorative bar to help with aesthetics but when installers came I asked why it wasn’t done and they said they couldn’t do it and not sure why I was told as such by the salesman. Then you cannot pay either the salesman or the installer they mail the invoice. No return envelope and I hadn’t even had the bill 3 days which one was Sunday and I was being called asking where my payment was. I literally put it in the mail the day after receiving the payment. I did bring up my dissatisfaction with the owner he did offer to eat the cost and remove the screens from my home however I would be left with the screw holes I was unaware that would be put in. He proceeded to state that I must not be from here to not know the high quality product he offers. Paperwork also stated a 15 year warranty but I was told lifetime and when I asked about that was told well as long as he owns the business he will take care of it but he is in 70, so when he sales he can’t guarantee what new owner will do.
I have lived in TC my whole life by his comment he just assumes and I asked to give payment to both the salesman and the installer and both said invoice is being sent. He also charges 3% more for credit card payments. Just because we have winds doesn’t mean how the install was done is justified.

High Desert was very responsive, and great to work with. We had just three windows to cover and they still treated us with respect.
Jake, their estimator and installer was friendly and informative, a very nice person.
They had told us we were two weeks out, and then were able to squeeze us in between some other clients so they had our screens up in less than a week.
A great experience overall, we highly recommend them and will use them for a project planned for the future.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
