I had something that I suspected could be an issue with my roof or attic. Nico inspected it and very honestly let me know it was not a roofing issue. He then inspected my roof for free and let me know I had some things to take care of in the near-future but no immediate action was necessary.

It's very refreshing to have an honest company like this who thinks about getting customers for the long term. When we do replace our roof, Hendo is my first call.

He helped us work through the process of dealing with homeowners insurance, was available any time we had questions, got the repair on the schedule very quickly, got the job done in less than 1 day, did a fantastic job cleaning up, was incredibly flexible and patient while we waited for both checks from homeowners insurance, checked the roof out recently after yet another hail storm to make sure there were no concerns, and so much more. Nico came out to help me solve why a small moisture spot was appearing on a ceiling. Rather than trying to upsell, he discovered an exposed nail in the roof and caulked it. He didn't charge me, saying it was his good deed for the day. How refreshing!

We had Hendo come out and look at our roof and gutters for a new home we purchased in December. Turns out the house has had many issues with the gutters, some urgent and others long term.

Nico (sales rep) pointed out two major issues with how the old gutters were configured which needed to be corrected as they were causing overflows and overtopping in two locations. He also identified several other issues that were leading to leaks in the house and how to address them. He also gave us an honest assessment of the roof's condition. We had several contractors out recently that immediately recommended full replacement which is not really necessary at this point.

While we did not have the budget to replace the roof, Nico pointed out the gutters were in poor condition, and provided us with two quotes (one repair and one replacement). After careful consideration we decided it was a no brainer to go with full replacement. The quote from Hendo was reasonable and they did a very good job with the new gutters. Nico also followed up several times to see how they performed in a recent storm and also came out to the house to check on the status of the roof after a storm that went through Galena. The shingles are getting older.

We are thankful for the responsiveness of Hendo and recommend them to others. When time and budget allows we will be calling Hendo about replacing the roof.

The whole process was pretty straight forward. Ken was very helpful and responsive. We were able to get the new roof installed within a week of signing the contract. The installation took only half day since there was a large crew.

Very professional. Didn't try to make me repair the whole roof but repaired only the part that needed repaired. My house and garage roof was repaired. I highly recommend them and will used them for all my future repairs because they did such a great job!

Very happy with repairs and experience with Hendo Roofing. Got quotes from 3 companies, all similar in price. Originally went with another company from neighbor suggestion, however, other company could not give us repair time frame after 2 weeks from initial quote. I called Hendo Roofing back and was able to schedule in following week. Nico was very professional on phone, showed up when he said he would and did excellent work. When a recent wind storm threatened to postpone a spring break family trip due to lifted shingles and rain in the forecast I called Hendo Roofing and Nico assured me to keep my plans, as he would be out the next day to secure my roof as needed. Nico followed up with me the next day and provided photos to put me at ease. When I returned from my trip the house was water tight and no signs of damage were to be found! We are pleased to recommend Hendo Roofing and Repair. Getting to know them and the fun of planning the colors etc. was a pleasure. The entire interactions from selecting color and material products and necessary details of trims, venting and modernizing changes, were made to be clearly understood. On work day, the super crew of approximately one dozen workers came on at 7 AM and completed at 7PM. If another day or part of one would have been necessary, they were prepared. Every contingency was met head-on, including some bad wood that was not expected and was replaced Immediately with new wood. That was "shopped" and brought to the job quickly and applied expertly. We paid only for unexpected materials and that was a relatively minor cost. The cleanup was excellent and amazing. After a day of old shingle piles, heavy equipment presence, bent metal, and a million nails, it seemed impossible. "Leaf Filter" Gutter guards were also removed (and replaced) for the work duration. We enjoyed every interaction with the Henderson's, Ken and Nico. They will go "all out " to make your job and roof first class and appreciate you.

I have used Nico and his company Hendo Roofing for gutter guards and a siding repairs on my house. In both instances, his prices were reasonable, he did the work quickly, professionally, and cleaned up after himself when he was done. It's nice to know there is still

After a house fire the contractor from the insurance company quoted us a very high price to replace our roof. We didn’t know it was leaking before the fire but with the drywall removed it was very obvious. Hendo came recommended from a trusted member of the real estate community and was able to get the job done quickly and for about $10k less than the original bid from the other contractor. The other contractor said the leaky roof was not caused by the fire because there was no visible fire damage. Nico noticed axe marks on the flat roof and I was able to submit his photos to the insurance company to help offset our roof replacement cost. In addition to all the savings he was also great to work with. I’ll recommend Hendo to all my friends and family.
