Eric Hedberg has always responded to my needs-in this case he came out on a Sunday even to inspect what was going on. Work was completed timely and quickly. I appreciate Hedberg Roofing!!

Hedberg installed our roof and added insulation 20+ years. A few years ago came and patched a small hole punched by a limb that blew down on short notice! They know their business and our customer oriented. Wholeheartedly recommend them!

Jessie and the whole team at Hedberg are top notch. We were removing a cedar shingle roof, and we were very torn as to what we were going to replace it with, but Jessie suggested a great asphalt option that really looks fairly similar to the cedar shingles that were removed (at less than half the cost). We couldn't be happier with the results, and we have peace of mind knowing that Hedberg will be around to back up they're warranties decades into the future.

The first one was over 25 years ago and his crew did such a great job I didn't even consider another company when it was time to update my roof. After living twenty (20) plus years in my new home, I began research for a new roof.

The impressive look of a relative’s recent new roof installation made the decision of the brand, style and color easy for me. I chose the Landmark Designer Shingles made by CertainTeed in the color Weathered Wood.

I met with three (3) business representatives to obtain proposals for the new roof replacement based on my selection. All the estimates received fell within a reasonable range of each other. However, it is because of Sales/ Technician, Jessie Goodwin, I chose Hedberg and Son Roofing.

Jessie Goodwin was the only business representative who informed me that my current roof still had a few more years of life left should I want to delay its replacement. I did delay for one (1) year and contact Jessie one (1) year later for a revised estimate in which I approved.

I hired Hedberg & Son for a new roof and gutters last fall. They got the project done with great materials and attention to detail. Everything looks great and more importantly, works great. I had a couple drips on a gutter joint that they came back to fix as soon as I called them. They take pride in their work and it shows. I'd use them again.

I had a great experience with Hedberg and Son! I hired them to put on a new roof and gutters and fix some other issues. Jessie was knowledgeable and respectful. When he inspected my existing roof, I got an accurate, professional assessment with pictures. He answered my questions so I had good information to make my decisions. The written bid was detailed and the changes were also in writing. The crew was very skilled and efficient and they did a thorough job. The roof was tested the very next day by severe weather and had no damage. I am very pleased with the work of Hedberg and Son and their crew.

Hedberg & Son replaced our shingles, gutters, and some siding after a hail storm. They were responsive, completed the work quickly and professionally, and Jessie kept me informed throughout the process from the initial quote through completion of the work. And the cost for everything was within the amount of my homeowners insurance settlement. I was very pleased with the end result and would definitely use them again.

I called five roofing companies to get estimates on a roof replacement, two would only give me an estimate after I found out how much the insurance company was going to pay, one company never showed up, one gave me an estimate from his car, never set foot on the roof, and then Hedbergs came. I worked with Jesse Goodwin with pricing, color choices, warranty, he answered all my questions and even got me scheduled sooner than I thought. They did a great job and cleaned up everything when they were done. They were even a great deal cheaper than the companies that did give an estimate. I was very pleased with the entire process start to finish. I have referred people to Hedbergs and will continue to do so.

I've used Hedberg & Son to fix a roof leak on one home and re-roof two other homes. I've trusted Jessie to be candid with me about when a roof needed to be replaced and when it still had life left. Hedberg & Son has repeatedly been competitively priced, provided quality work, delivered what's promised, and cleaned up. They've been around and I'm confident will continue to be here for us should any warranty concerns surface.

The most recent re-roof was due to a weather event. A company providing evaluations in the neighborhood determined our roof was eligible for an insurance claim and provided a "good, better, best" pricing model, with the "good" shingle being what they quoted. I then contacted Jessie for a competitive bid. Jessie quoted a "better" shingle (from the start) for several thousand less than the other company's "good" shingle. He also answered all my follow up questions to my satisfaction. In the end, Hedberg re-roofed our house in a single day while we were away on vacation and other than the new roof (and the video Jessie sent of the work being completed!), we wouldn't have known they'd been at our house; the clean up was outstanding.

I hope to not need another roof for a long time, but when we do, I'll be calling Hedberg & Son. Thanks, Jessie (and Eric and all) for being there for us!

I am a landlord and own rental properties with my brother. We have used Hedberg and Son Roofing on several rental houses to replace the roofs. The roofing crew did a great job on the installation of the roof and at the end of the project made sure any trash is picked up and removed from the property. The office staff is courteous to any of our needs and the workers roofing skills are excellent. We plan to use Hedberg and Son for any future roofing projects.

Last week they did a complete tear off, replaced rotted sheathing, installed new ice and water guard and new shingles. After a significant hailstorm, our Cedar Shake roof was damaged. Hedberg & Son were exceptional in replacing it. Very good communication, the workers were polite, the job was done quickly and without any issues. I completely recommend them!

Des Moines has a plethora of roofing companies. Many with good to average ratings, but the proof as to how responsive you are to your customer base is when you get a call for a situation knowing your books are full. I had this company re-roof my home about 2 years ago maybe more. I am very happy with their work. These guys can be trusted and do very good work. They clean up afterwards and are considerate of the homeowner.
I would use them again if I should have any wind damage or anything else.

I highly recommend them to any and all. They reroofed our house in 2014, and did an excellent job. They were very organised and professional. They cleaned things up as much as feasible at the end of each day. We recently had a small leak- not in our roof but in our siding -which they diagnosed and fixed.

Work til dark and left a bunch of nails in the road. They also left garbage and pieces of roofing everywhere. Nowhere near 5 star work.

Edit: Here's your proof. Tell me how I am able to leave at any point. Nails coming out of the rain gutter. I walked the road myself every night to ensure the nails were picked up. Handfuls. Unprofessional.

We contacted Hedberg and Son after noticing a leak in our roof. They were quick to inspect the roof and provide us with an estimate, which they stuck to. They found a way to fix our water problem while still maintaining the original architecutre of our Tudor style home. Thanks Roger and Eric!
