These guys were amazing. Showed up early and worked until the sun was down. Took just under 2 days. Reroofed our patio and repaired trim and roofing under our solar. Took and sent pics to support the work they did and cleaned up appropriately when done. I highly recommend healthy structures roofing!

Our re-roofing project was done with excellent craftsmanship! The old asphalt shingles were removed, old wood areas patched, and new metal roof panels were installed. The edge & ridge trim, vents, and HVAC frame were all handled and finished for a great result!

Incredible quality, prompt communication, professional service, and extremely fair pricing. If you need a job done right, this is the best company to do it. They are a roofing company and have replaced my roof, but the most recent job I hired them for was a 10 x 20 concrete slab. They built a solid, high quality slab that will last for many years because they did the job right and incredibly fast. I can't say enough about Healthy Structures and Bill Hipps! They are the absolute best!

To be clear, no one enjoys having their roof replaced, but Healthy Structures went out of their way to ensure the least amount of disruption to my schedule. I was especially impressed with Josh, who managed the project, quickly remedied unforeseen structural issues with my old roof, seamlessly coordinated sub-contractors, and was in excellent communication with me throughout the whole process. My Tempe house is 78 years old and the roof was built in many different eras, with numerous house extensions, so it was a piece meal disaster. Healthy Structures created a great plan to make the whole roof, main house and multiple extensions to be one solid roof that extended out into the backyard creating an amazing back yard porch. They totally exceeded all my expectations for quality and price. please check out the before and after pictures I'm posting. You seriously cannot find a better roofer and porch builder in town is my opinion. The company is run by someone with integrity and does his honest best to give you a very fair price while still delivering quality.

My shed out back had significant water damage from the most recent rains we've had and was getting worse daily Luckily, Healthy Structures was just down the street, and Bill and Josh came up with a service plan that covered all of my structure's needs. What's more, they started early, and finished in one day! This was an incredibly difficult task with only about 8" of room between the shed and alley wall. This was money well spent. Now I know who to see when I need a new roof as well!

June, 2019. I couldn't be happier with my new roof! I contacted Healthy Structures and Josh came out to give me a quote. I went through a few revisions of the original quote before getting started and both Bill and Josh were very patient and professional. When the crew came out and began the job, they discovered quite a few more repairs that needed to be done than I thought but they worked with me on those as well. I had the entire roof reshingled, new shiplap and sheathing where it was needed, vents installed in the eaves (there were not any existing) and a new roof ridge vent. They also demo'd an hauled away an old shed that was attached to the roof in the back yard. The crew was professional and the foreman was great at handling a nervous client! LOL. Honestly, he was golden! I would have these guys back anytime to do work on my house. The roof is beautiful and I have confidence that it will last for a very long time. Bill Hipps and family at Healthy Structures bailed us out of a tight situation when another roofer abandoned us in the middle of a job at our home. Since then, we have called upon this team to replace roofs at four of our rental properties. You may not get what you pay for with other companies, but we have had a very positive experience over 6 years of several jobs with this one! If there is a problem, they come over quickly (and FIX it). If you want an estimate, ditto.

After monsoon storms destroyed the roof on my Tempe home, Healthy Structures came in and replaced the entire roof. The work done was above expectations, completed on time and done at a reasonable price. I will certainly recommend them to anyone needing roofing services.

We had used Healthy Structures a few years ago for a small repair and custom gutters so were familiar with the company and their services.
The quality of work for these items was very good so when we had major damage after a significant monsoon storm, they were the first company we called for a repair estimate . Once the insurance issues were resolved, their crew began work on a major restoration effort on the entire roof and then spent the next seven days (well within the estimated time frame) replacing all underlayment, damaged decking/rafters/fascia strips and S-tiles bringing our roof back to a condition significantly better than it was when we first occupied the house. We would not hesitate to recommend Healthy Structures as a high quality contractor for any roofing and construction needs.

Excellent service and fine work from Healthy Structures. I was happy to obtain a 10 year warranty that could be transferred upon sale of a home, if need be.

I called Jim after getting an inspection report noting roof issues on a house I am purchasing. He came out the next day, free of charge, and checked out the structure and immediately put my worries to rest. He's competent, professional, and very helpful! I will definitely be using them for any repairs or questions in the future.

I originally contacted Healthy Structures after having a bad experience with a fly-by-night roofer who bid low and then began doing a job that was worth even less. Bill Hipps, who runs Healthy Structures, by contrast, inspired trust, inviting me to check out his beautifully renovated house near ASU. I met his wife, who owns Yupha's Thai restaurant, which Bill had also renovated, so I knew he wouldn't disappear into the night. I ended up not only having Bill and his team re-roof the whole house with hipster-modern corrugated metal, but had Bill remake our falling down gazebo, cover all the flat roofed portions with a new pitched metal roof, add some other sun shades which he made of solid metal beams, remake a couple of old wooden doors that were sun damaged with metal coverings and nice corrugated metal awnings. He also renovated a side of my house that had been a useless muddy overly sunny area full of weeds, to cover it with a long awning and build in a bike rack and solidly build in a compost-bin, and a rotating composter that he redid on a solid metal frame. And he extended our roof out over part of the pool so now we can actually go outside in the heat of summer and get in the water without baking our skulls in direct sun. He also had connections to trustworthy local painters, gardeners, and stucco guys, so in the end, the outside of my house was completely transformed from a falling down mess to something worthy of a magazine. And he put in two wide (and rock solid) corrugated metal gates to allow us to access the yard from the front and the back. Many neighbors I had never met have complimented the way the house looks now, and an architecture professor in the neighborhood just commented that the house may have raised home values in the neighborhood. Oh, and his work crew was amazing, ten hour days regardless of the August heat, and often working 6 day weeks.

Monsoons tore us up this year. Had damage inside and out from wind and rain. We got an accurate estimate and the work was done in a professional and efficient manner. Clean up was perfect and the employees that came to our home were very respectful.

Healthy Structures was recommended by a Tempe friend, and I was not disappointed. They were professional, very competent, paid attention to detail, and the price was reasonable for the quality of work. I was also impressed that they cleaned up every day afterwards.

When we were ready to replace the roof, we got bids from several companies and Healthy Structures came in with the right combination of price, quality and attention to our priorities. We wanted to improve attic ventilation.

They built the new roof with an added ridge vent as well as other passive attic ventilation. They used Corning shingles. We got the energy star color available at the time. With this roof replacement, our energy bills did decrease and our comfort increased.
People in the know have been especially impressed with how well the valleys were done.

Healthy Structures also built an attractive and sturdy steel shade structure for us. We worked with Bill and found him easy to discuss ideas with. Nice combination of practical and creative.

What a spectacular company! Healthy Structures replaced the roof over my carport recently. I could not be happier with the result. The roof was replaced in one afternoon and my carport is bone dry after many monsoon rains. It also looks great! Bill Hipps, the company's owner is professional and courteous. The recent rain storm with nearly 2 inches in less than an hour overcome my mom's roof and a ceiling in one room collapsed. Healthy Structures came out right away. They not only fixed it before more damage happened but greatly improved the roof valley so we would not have similar problems from another such storm all at a very reasonable cost.
About 8 yrs ago I had Healthy Structures redo my 30 yr old roof and porch (which had been "fixed" by another roofer) and they did a wonderful job. They put in better materials than original and cleaned up perfectly afterwards and I have never had a problem since. That is why I called them for my mom's roof and the foreman on the job was the same knowledgeable person who did my roof 8 yrs ago - impressive for any construction company today.

I contacted Healthy Structures approximately 7 years ago to have them look at my mom's roof. She had been told by another company that it needed replacing. One of their sales team came out and walked the entire roof. He informed me that the roof was in great shape and would not need replacing for at least 7-10 years. In 2014 I had the original roof on my home failing due to broken terracotta clay shingles and a failing thin layer of underlayment including interior leaking which was causing mold growth within the roof and ceiling areas. Healthy Structures was one of the roofing companies that came out and provided an inspection of the roof with recommendations and a fee proposal. Healthy structures was the most helpful of these companies, they spent time understanding my concerns and provided the best advice and recommendations. For example they understood the code requirements on my home and how the added weight of the concrete shingles would not be a problem, they recommended venting improvements (including providing vent calculations) to help cool off the interior of my home, recommended more substantial underlayment products for an improved lifespan, and had a good solution to mitigate the pigeons. Their quote was very reasonable and included the items I wanted including dual layers of thicker underlayment that other roofing companies would not provide because they had only one standard underlayment. The work was performed efficiently and in a professional manner and was fully completed before the crews moved on to their next project. During the work the Healthy Structures crews replaced many roof boards to make sure all the mold was removed and replaced many sills and other specialized boards that were rotting. Healthy Structures communicated very well during this process and were very reasonable in cost for this work. After the roof was completed there was one hiccup where there was a small amount of leaking within my garage area due to roof runoff splashing behind some roof flashing. Healthy Structures came right out inspected the leak and installed a substantial amount of grout at no cost which fixed the leak. Bill called me after each of several subsequent storm events to confirm that the leak did not return. My house looks exceptional with a roof completed with quality workmanship. Also the terracotta colored concrete shingles installed blend in very nicely with the rest of the neighborhood who have mainly terracotta clay shingles. I highly recommend Healthy Structures as a qualified organization that stands behind their product and who you can trust to provide the right solution for your needs!

We contracted with Healthy Structures Inc to design and build a patio structure for us at out home. Bill met with us personally and walked us through the design and building process. He answered our questions and worked to improve our understanding of the process and incorporated our vision of what we wanted done. We are very happy with the results. The project was completed on time and within our budget. I have since had Healthy Structures Inc. maintain my office roof and will continue to recommend them to my friends and clients.

I had the good fortune of working with Bill Hipps and Healthy Structures twice. The first time was re-roofing my garage - a great job and a good price! Work was done on time, quickly and has stood up very well for several years now. The second time was really interesting. I needed some sort of trellis to keep the vines from attaching o the walls of my house. Healthy Structures provided a great solution - a welded steel grid attached 6 inches from the house. Vines look great, problem solved. So it seems these guys do more than just roofs; just ask them for advice!

I became aware of Healthy Structures early in the renovation of my home in central Phoenix. Bill came out and spec'd out the job in detail, set out a clear timetable, and assured me that if issues came up, they'd address them promptly after consulting with me. As it turned out there were a number of issues, and they went the extra mile to ensure they were rectified correctly and for the long haul. Not just a quick fix to get the job done faster. This very close attention to every detail of the job, making sure that everything is absolutely as it should be before they finish, is what sets them apart from any other roofer I've come across. They won't leave until they, and you, are completely satisfied.

Fortunately for me, they are also excellent contractors and metal crafters. After the very successful roof project, I used them to craft a new steel and glass carport door, and two exterior metal doors, along with custom metal and glass pocket doors for the inside of the house. They also created a series of stainless steel trellises for my concrete block property wall. Each one of these projects benefited from their laser-like focus on detail and quality. I can't recommend them highly enough for anyone who is interested in a high quality job and the peace of mind that comes from knowing that everything is being done to a much higher standard than what you would encounter with other, lesser contractors.

Being a Tempe resident, I wanted to hire a Tempe contractor. I'm sure glad that I found Healthy Structures. Bill and his crew were fantastic! My wife and I had our roof replaced, new gutters hung, and a tear down of an exterior shed. We couldn't be happier with all of it!
