We solicited 4 estimates for cement board siding. We went with Hawthorn Exteriors due to their outstanding ratings and cost value. The owner worked for James Hardie for 5+ years, which gave us confidence. They lived up to all expectations and then some. Mark explained the process, and it went exactly according to the plan. We found a color in his samples that nearly matched our home's existing color. Mark could have made more money by having us do custom paint, but he steered us to pre-finished siding due to the cost savings & durability. That is true customer service. Mark's crew worked methodically to get the job done in a very reasonable amount of time. Any concerns we had - which were very few - were addressed by his crew ASAP. The quality of the work is outstanding. We have had nothing but praise from neighbors on how our home looks. I would HIGHLY recommend Hawthorn Exteriors to anyone looking for James Hardie cement siding. For our job, they totally lived up to their A+ rating on the BBB.

The Hawthorn team is amazing! Their workmanship and professionalism is top notch! We had Hawthorn replace our siding, shutters, gutters and update our balcony. We could not be happier with all the work they did on our home! We have received countless compliments from neighbors as well!

Mark’s crew did an awesome job. Besides the beautiful look of the new/top quality siding, you would never know they were there. The installation as well as clean up was meticulous. There was one very small area that I wasn’t totally satisfied with and Mark had it corrected in 3 days, even after the bill had been paid. This is a great business.

Mark was excellent to work with. We had original 50+ year old wood siding that was replaced with beautiful Deep Ocean Blue Hardie Board.

They were very hard workers and always cleaned up every night before leaving. The new siding and gutters gave our home the refresh it needed. Great job in general. The owner was here essentially daily checking on the work, and the supervision and the workers were very hard-working, courteous, did a nice job of cleaning up. We couldn’t be more pleased.

I have an historic home, so it was important that certain needs be met. When Mark first visited he LISTENED really listened to the specific concerns we had. He talked us through solutions and what that entailed. He was very congenial and when he gave us the estimate he wasn't pushy or edgy.
When we decided to use them he told us he would update daily on the progress and if issues arose they would find solutions.
Well he and his crew certainly did what they said and more!
They did our house this summer and we have perfect strangers stop by to tell how great our house looks! The best part is nobody can tell it is not original wood siding. It looks so real! The house is warmer and more sound proof too.
We couldn't be happier and we think anyone who uses Hawthorn will feel the same way.

Hawthorn Home Exteriors (and owner Mark Moore) made it happen! James Hardie siding is expensive. We wanted it for many years but several proposals from others were all much too high. Hawthorn's proposal was not cheap (still far higher than vinyl), but was much more competitive than the others.

Mark was always professional and communicative and the end result is that our house looks so much better! We had a couple of difficult installation issues that Mark worked with me on. The install guys did forget to do some small things at the end but Mark quickly sent them back to finish.

We are very happy with Hawthorn and their James Hardie install, and definitely recommend them!

We got a few proposals when our home needed new siding. We are so happy we went with Hawthorn Home Exteriors. From our first meeting with Mark until the project was complete, everyone involved with the project couldn't have been more professional and wanted to do a great job. The crew that did the work, Carlos, Kendra, and Manuel were outstanding. A project I was dreading turned out to be a great experience. They delivered on everything promised. We had no issues, but I'm sure if we did, they would have been taken care of. You won't be disappointed if you go with Hawthorn. Great people. Great work.

The owner Mark and his team were great to work with and did a fantastic job removing my old Masonite siding and replacing it with James Hardie siding as well as replacing my fascia and enclosing my soffits.
Mark came by the job site at least once per day during the project. His crew worked 12 hour days to get the job completed and were very pleasant along with being talented and experienced.
I got bids from 5 or 6 companies and am very glad I chose Hawthorn.

Hawthorn replaced my original wood siding with new Hardie cement board siding. Everything about the experience was positive. There was no high pressure sales pitch, Mark made several visits to get the perfect design, and the siding was installed in a timely and professional manner. The installers even fixed our doorbell which stopped working years ago.

Hawthorn Home Exteriors was amazing to work with. Mark was prompt with responses, concerns, or changes in the scope of work. We had our old Masonite siding stripped and Hardi Backer installed. Part of our home was already Hardi and several other contractors wanted to strip and replace that section of the house. Mark was the only contractor that recommended leaving the original Hardi as it was in great condition. I highly recommend Hawthorn Home Exteriors as the work exceeded my expectations. We ultimately chose Aged Pewter for the main color & Artic White for the trim color. Once we were into the project we added several things to the scope of work (sunroom door addition, gutter guards, shutters, etc) and Mark handled each addition professionally. We look forward to working with Mark next year when we tear our overhangs off to replace the Soffit & Fascia with Hardi Soffit & Fascia. Great work Mark!

Hawthorn Exteriors installed Hardie Siding and trim on two exterior walls of our home where new doors and windows had been installed as a result of remodeling. Mark, the owner of the company, was attentive and professional and instilled confidence in our decision to select his service. His team was timely and thorough, even returning for additional paint touch up. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend them to any of our friends and neighbors.

Mark and his team installed new siding and gutters for my rental property. I had multiple bids for the same project, but Mark was by far the fastest, most cost efficient, most responsive, and professional. He did a great job of asking questions to understand what the priorities for the project were and was a pleasure to work with all around. Mark and his crew did an exceptional job from start to finish. Mark provided me with several options on my replacement windows. There was no pressure about what to choose. He provided his expertise on the pros and cons of each of the choices. His Installer Dan and his crew did a phenomenal job on the installation process.

I have better sound qualities from outside noise. I have been able to raise the the A/C thermostat even in these dog days of summer while maintaining my comfort in my 2 story home.
