Came to look at our roof, said he would be back the next day with tools and another person, and he never showed up. We wasted a day waiting around for him to show up. Would not recommend him. Windy weather tore off some of my old garage roof. Called Hardesty Roof Replacement and got a call back from Josh the next day. He came right over, secured the roof and gave an estimate. Josh and his crew came the next week during nice weather. They tore off the old roof and replaced it all in one day. They carefully cleaned up and even took some old storm debris without being asked. The cost was reasonable and I am very happy with the result.

Had Hardesty Roof Replacement replace our roof before moving in our house and they did a fantastic job. The house was a foreclosure and the roof had been leaking for quite some time and Josh came out and tarped the roof immediately to stop the leaking. As soon as the weather got better he replaced the roof on the house, the flat roof over the garage and put in 2 new skylights. He did a great job communicating everything since we were out of state. We would highly recommend him and would have him work on our homes in the future. A friend had recommended him to us.

I was very impressed with the quality of service and product they have. Josh was easy to work with, and very reasonably priced. He took care of my leak and came out right away and did a repair, a temporary fix until he could come out and re roof it. We waited for the snow and weather to change and he was able to reproof my home. He
made sure everything was cleaned up after the job was done and haven't had to worry about nails and debris at all. I can honestly say I highly recommend this company.

We had some composite tiles blow off of a section of a 2nd-story roof only 10 years old in yesterday’s wind storm. Josh came to our house directly after my phone call and had it all repaired quickly with new tiles. Very reasonable price too.

We’ll have him back later this year (after the weather improves) to replace that entire 2nd-story portion of the roof.

Josh and his crew replaced our 28 year old roof at the coast June 2021. The original price quote was from the prior December and I was quite relieved that with the crazy increase in housing materials that it might have gone up significantly, but the price was essentially the same as quoted six month prior. Josh and his crew showed up on time and put in some long hard days tearing off the old roof and replacing with a 40 year shingle. There was a bad section of plywood that he replaced at no additional charge. There were access challenges to the site but he and his crew did a good job of creative access with no property damage. We were not there during most of the job but upon arrival the roof looked perfect with zero mess left behind and no property damage. Time will tell but I am 100% satisfied with the job, very professionally done and unlike many coastal contractors Hardesty Roof Replacement needed no babysitting or double checking - they know what they are doing.

I texted Mr. Hardesty at 6:30AM this informing him we have a leaking roof, he responded shortly and said he would come over and take a look at our roof later in the morning. He showed me our problem and placed a temporary fix on our roof, gave us a bid that was very acceptable in our book, and added us to his busy schedule. Thanks Josh!!!

Josh replaced our roof and areas of dry rot that needed fixed. He and his crew went above and beyond our expectations. Josh was always in contact with us letting us know what he had scheduled for the day and he and his crew worked efficiently to get the job done and done right! Josh also put us in contact with a handyman who could finish up some much-needed outdoor house projects. We appreciate his attention to details and are extremely happy with the finished roof.

This roofer is not recommended for anyone! He damaged my roof during his "estimate"? He was so rude I got my camera out.He continued by pulling up shingles and even dislodged a (previously secure) vent right in front of me.He stated" This leaks as he pulled up flashing . I told him nothing leaks. He said IT WILL NOW! How he got the good reviews is a mystery to me.

Fast service for an urgent repair.

I discovered a portion of the roof "hip" had been blown off (beach house on the Oregon coast) and needed a quick repair. Plus, the location of the needed work was in a precarious position. I needed a professional. Hardesty Roof Repair was on site within hours and the repair was completed within minutes. The cost for the repair was probably less than cost of gas to get to the job. Amazing!

Hardesty Roof Replacement did an excellent job on my roof in Tierra del Mar/Pacific City this mid April. Josh and his crew were very professional and tidy: the whole neighborhood was impressed by how thoroughly they cleaned up after themselves as they went along. No plastic wrap blowing through the neighborhood. Very respectful and also efficient. Josh’s bidding and the money side of things was very straightforward. No funny business. No unexpected cost run-ups at all. He got started right away on the first sunny day we had. Then it rained. But he kept in touch via email (which these days, let’s face it, is so much more convenient than phoning and voicemails) until it stopped raining and he and his crew went right back to work and finished the job very quickly. I recommended him to a neighbor and she’s having him do her roof now.

Josh did a great job on our complicated roof, steep, dormer, a flat valley, lots of angles, a chimney to remove. He was easy to communicate with, cleaned up well every day, and completed the project promptly. I have already recommended him to friends.
