Tillamook RV repair we’re incredible.
The staff were friendly and helpful, had great waiting facilities and gorgeous dogs to keep us company.

Just left there and the best, the best experience, the best, gives you faith in humanity, thank you and knows his stuff too.

I made a mistake and had someone work on my lights for my tow vehicle and they completely messed them up.

We called Tillamook RV repair and were just hoping they could get us in. Being on the road and stuck is not what any of us want.

We did have to wait to get in, but Mike (aka Stumpy) worked on my tow vehicle until 12:00 am, we started at 6:30 pm. He did a complete rewire of my tow vehicle 1990 Ford Ranger (original feed thru wiring on tow vehicle) and he stated he would only do it right, no half ass job for him!!

Thanks Stumpy for getting us back on the road and doing a fantastic job!!!

We stopped by for assistance with a LP issue with our camper B van and received friendly and professional service. We are extremely grateful!!

Stumpy, Carl and the crew are amazing! We had a leaf spring break and they dropped everything to get us back on the road again. We were fortunate that they had the part and they had it fixed in less than 2 hours. They were friendly, helpful, and honest. They were even willing to let us stay on their lot overnight if they couldn't fix it today. Above and beyond... Feeling grateful and blessed that we broke down in Tillamook and found Stumpy!!

Karl was amazing! Jax squeezed us in when we were having issues with it hitch. They fixed it and solved our issue of bottoming out and porpoising so badly it shook us out of our lane if we went faster than 40 MPH.

Our RV dealer in Vancouver, BC set our hitch up wrong. So badly, in fact, the nuts were loose and we were lucky it didn't detach. Karl not only fixed that issue but he gave us info on how to fix the possibility of our slide failing and fixed a light.

When our water pump failed, our RV dealer did nothing to help. We called Tillamook RV Repair and they offered to walk us through troubleshooting. Thankfully it began working again.

I can't say enough great things about this place. I'm grateful we went here when we did and they were so inexpensive. Thanks, Karl, Jax, and everyone else.

BUT I WILL SAY DO NOT USE THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF, TREATED TERRIBLY AND NOT HAVE THE WORK COMPLETED. ITS WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED ANYWHERE. THEY HAVE HAD THE PART FOR OUR REFRIDGERATOR ALMOST A FULL MONTH NOW AND ARE REFUSING TO PUT US ON THE SCHEDULE AND DO THE WORK AS OF NOW. STUMPY FLAT OUT TOLD MY HUSBAND HE HATES DOING THESE JOBS AND WISHES HE DID NOT HAVE TO. WE ARE IN PROCESS OF REPORTING THE BUISNESS TO THE NESSESARY PLACES TO TRY TO GET OUR PART FROM THEM OR GET IT BACK TO WARRANTY. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY ARE RUDE, AND DISHONEST! As far as the manager response goes. I don’t feel the need to say much. The reviews and the reputation of the company within the county says it all. We have proof and documentation of everything that has gone on. There are others that are kind , honest and reliable who do rv work in this area so we will most definitely stick with them.

The crew at Tillamook RV did a great job putting a new roof and membrane on my motorhome. Way thicker and more durable than the factory job. They also fixed a leaky propane valve for me.

Stumpy took care of us! Great customer service! He called Dometic for us to see if we could get some portion of the cost covered as we thought we would need a new cooling unit for our fridge that was just 2 months outside of the warranty window. Dometic required that we run some tests, that would take 8 hours. Stumpy let us stay overnight in our travel trailer in the parking lot so we could complete the testing. It turned out, we did not need a new cooling unit after all. Stumpy is honest, personable and a pleasure to work with. He got us in the same day and stopped by before the shop even opened to tell us the good news. I felt pricing was very fair. I highly recommend Tillamook RV Repair!

Many thanks to Stumpy and the whole crew at Tillamook RV Repair for doing a wonderful job getting us back on the road after a hitch failure damaged to the front end and roof of our fifth wheel. They promptly addressed each problem with a smile and got us and going again quickly.

DON’T LET THEM TOUCH YOUR RV EXTERIOR!!!!! Went in for a leaky window fix back in mid August 2021 and ended up leaving with our trailer mid September with falling off sealant around our entire trailer and $650 out of pocket with no refund offered by owner. This place promised and guaranteed removal of manufacturers “bad” sealant and application of their “better” sealant that would make our trailer more waterproof and last longer. What we ended up with was a disastrous mess. They didn’t clean off the original sealant properly so their new application started falling off immediately after we drove it home. Their excuse was that our trailer had a Duratain protective coating on the fiberglass so their sealant job didn’t work because of that. We were told it was not their fault and they would not refund our money, only give us credit. We called them a week or so after we took our trailer home but didn’t get in contact with them right away because it was “hunting season”. We emailed photos to Stumpy early October showing our sealant falling off and asked if they could send someone to our home since trailer was being housed in our shop out of the rain and wind. Trailer had already spent a month outside in the rain and wind at the repair shop and didn’t want it to be subjected to water damage sitting in their lot waiting to be fixed. They would not come to us and wanted us to bring it back in to fix their mess but we wouldn’t get it back until after Christmas. That would have been more than 2 months later. We had told them previously we needed to use our trailer before the holidays. They had no idea what Duratain was so that is a huge red flag in itself. We called Duratain in which they stated in no way would their product mess with properly applied sealant, Duratain has been around for many many years and reputable RV repair shops should know about this well known and widely used product on new RVs. After telling the repair shop owners this info they still would not in any way take blame for their awful work, we’re very rude, and didn’t want to make things right This repair shop is so unprofessional and just like many businesses on the coast give you all the fancy talk but can’t deliver what they promise but are quick to take your money. We have since spent many many hours scraping and cleaning off what should have been originally done by this company to finally apply new sealant ourselves so that we can use our 2020 trailer that has been unusable since we took it to this place.
If I can spare just 1 person from the huge nightmare we went through I will have done my job. Please look at all reviews and you can see a pattern of combative and unprofessional reply’s to customer’s issues and concerns.

Mike and Carl were AWESOME! So very helpful and did an outstanding job on our Class A. VERY knowledgeable!! And worked with our warranty company to cover costs! Staff was friendly also. Would go back again if ever needed (second outstanding experience with separate RVs). Support this local business if ever needed!

Tuesday, 6/13/23, the electric steps on our 36 ft. Class A Motorhome malfunctioned, leaving the top step extended and the bottom step recessed. We were on our way to a reservation in Washington state, and we could not travel with the step extended without eventually hitting something, or someone.. My wife and I are in our early eighties, so getting in and out was a "fun" experience as well.
Fortunately, we found Tillamook RV Repair; Karl Coleman, RV Tech, and Ms Jax Charlton, Mgr., both were eager to help and went out of their way to accommodate us. Karl quickly worked us into his schedule and, within an hour, repaired the jammed arm, whose bolt had broken free, and they got us on our way. Because of their care and work, we made our reservation commitment that day. Thanks so much for your efforts.
We understand Tillamook RV, 4190 Hwy 101 N, Tillamook, OR 97141 is the only Full Service (including climate controlled storage for RVs) operation for 70 miles, in either direction, along the Oregon Coast. And, bonus, they are just across the highway from the Tillamook Cheese Factory, well worth a visit.

Stumpy was a great person to work with. It started over the phone as I was camping in Tillamook. Stumpy had my issue identified over the phone in a matter of minutes. He had the part i needed and stayed open until I got there. I needed a diode for my hot water heater, although it did not totally resolve my problem but it did improve my problem. I called Stumpy once again and let him know what happen, he informed me that I might have a spider web in my gas line, and to stop by and he would lend me the tools to fix my issues. I showed up at the Tillamook RV shop on my home and Stumpy came out and cleaned my gas line gave me a new diode and sent me on my way. This place is a class act and very knowledgeable. Tillamook RV has earned my trust and my business. I live in Hillsboro and will make the trip out to Tillamook for any of my RV needs. Thank you very much Stumpy it shows that there are still great people in this messed up world. You were so generous and helpful.

I had to buy a new toilet valve, drove fourty miles to your place to get it, was the only one available. The price of $75.00 was way too much, the people behind the counter acted like coming in to make a purchase was a major inconvenience. I would not recommend this place if it was the last place on earth.

Great customer service and no hard sales. Gave us answers, a quick fix and we were on our way! Definitely recommend.

I am on S.S., and had a diabetic ulcer on my foot making it hard to walk. They didn't have a proper screwdriver to open bleeder valve, To fill my propane tank. When I asked if they had a proper tool I recieved a quick dirty look, some under the breath complaints. So disappearing into the shop I picked up my things and left. It is the rudest I have ever been treated anywhere and is a popular way for them to act after inquiring into them.

Highly recommend, the customer service and care we received was amazing! Stumpy and family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and delivered beyond what they promised.
We were hit by another driver while sleeping in our tip out in Lincoln city, our insurance company encouraged us to drive it home. Big mistake, only got as far as Florence when our roof came apart.
Stumpy came to Florence and secured the roof so we could get it to his shop.
They hooked us up to electric and let us stay while we were dealing with our insurance company.
Family and staff are awesome. Our new roof is awesome!!!! We will definitely come back if we need any repairs in the future.

We needed to adjust the pin box on our fifth wheel while passing through Tillamook. Called the day before and gave them an approximate time and they said “just stop in and we’ll see what we can do. “. Well, we did and they were done moving the pin box 90 minutes after arriving! Really appreciated their efforts to get us back on the road and at a very reasonable price for their efforts. Thank you Jax, Karl, Desi and Steve! Great shop!

The team at Tillamook RV have seen it all! They are our trusted go to from the little things to the major things! If there is something we need done or fixed and can do it on our own, Stumpy is always willing to explain it and walk us thru the process, thus saving us in labor costs! Appreciate the hometown feel when we walk in. All around great experience always!!

We broke our trailer’s leaf spring our due to a rough road condition on Highway Sucks (Highway 6) while on annual camping trip at Cape Lookout State Park. We called Tillamook RV Repair on Saturday first thing in the morning when the shop open, talked to Stumpy, and he told me us he will come out later in the morning to assess the condition/ replacement. Also “Go on your comping trip with your family”, he said; we really hope so, we can do that.

Stumpy came and assessed, he was able to put a temporary fix to our trailer enabled us to really complete our trip and finished our may be last trip in US. Next day, we brought our trailer to his shop after the trip for the repair/ replacement. It was Sunday! They are not open but he opened his repair lot & storage lot just to accommodate us. While we are there, we decided to have him help us to fix other physical damages due to wear and tear over the years that we have been wanting to repair. Just to be clear, he didn’t sell us any of the other repair here, it was solely our decision to have him assessed the other repairs.

So, we left the our trailer for the repairs/replacement. We will probably come back in 2 weeks time to pick up the trailer, which will be around Tillamook County Fair time. Stumpy even offered us to park on his lot (namely - Field of Dreams) if we are planning to check out the events and do another trailer camping while we are in town and couldn't any other open RV camp site.

My experience with Stumpy was nothing but simple - treat one sincerely and kindly, not taking advantage of people while one are in need for help. How much it cost to repair, just know that we can afford it. Review here is about their service, which is priceless, kind and above and beyond!

Everything happens for a reason, my family were happy that we came to know a kind person like Stumpy, you turned what mostly could have been a nightmare trip experience into a good life experience of meeting a charismatic gentleman like you.

I went into this shop for help with modifying my waterline to my tv toilet and the owner and every employee I spoke were very helpful. He had me in and out of there in less than ten minutes. Everything worked great. Thanks

Super friendly and incredibly accommodating! We needed our axles replaced for our upcoming move to a new site, and had gotten some runaround from other folks despite having the parts already. Stumpy got us in the very next day after we came in to schedule an appointment, and out before the day was done with only the mildest bit of good natured teasing. Great work, great service and adorable pups!

My experience here was not a good one, and as a solo female RVer, I felt like I was taken advance of. If I could go back in-time, I would have said “No thank you, and I will try elsewhere”.

All my camper van needed was the plumbing’s pipes to be improved/replaced, and the hot water tank integrated so I could have hot and cold water.

And since I didn’t want/ couldn’t afford for my camper van to incur anymore water damage than it already had due to the original poor/inadequate plumbing the previous owner had installed, I felt it was really important to see a shop for repairs as soon as possible.

Choosing to have repairs done at Tillamool RV Repair, however, was a very expensive mistake, and also a testament to how some people will take advantage of you IF you let them…

When asked how much I thought it would take to fix the problem, I said no more than $400 (with labor). The owner asked me ALOUD in front of staff, and other customers, how much it would take to do this, he tells “Over $800”.

I can only say that I think fear took over at that point, and I agreed to pay the amount I really could not afford because I was afraid that the poor plumbing the previous owner had installed would cause even more water damage than it already had (later found out the subfloor was rotted). But had I just taken it back to the city an hour or two inland, I think I would have a better review to write for another business.

In the end, the new plumbing wasn’t finished; yea, the piping had been replaced, but was installed incorrectly, and it wasn’t integrated with the instant hot water tank. Additionally, I was told the instant tank’s outlet leaked (later found out it didn’t, that the hardware piece was just loose). He told me to take it “as is” because of the leak! So NO integrated hot and cold water…but I paid for all of it!

Not good service, and definitely not a good value. I wouldn’t recommend this business, and hope you do your homework before you trust your property/home to be repaired here.

The break for our trailer was locking up while traveling. They took a look and found it was the break controller set to high. Since they only spent 15 min checking they didn't charge us, saved our trip.

We broke a leaf spring on our way through town. Carl visited us for an inspection and had us back on the road in just a couple hours. Fast, knowledgeable, and properly priced. Highest possible recommendation based on our experience!

Stopped in at the last minute with an electrical problemas we were leaving for a trip. We did not have an appointment but were well greeted and did not have to wait long for Stumpy to make a very rapid assessment and repair - at no charge! After hand-cranking in slide before leaving Medford, my wife and I knew we had major trouble w/our 5th wheel. Called Tillamook RV Repair, reviewed issue, they told us to come by when we arrived and they would try to help but were very busy and couldn’t promise to resolve the issue that day. We had no electricity in rig, fridge wouldn’t even work on propane. Knew we couldn’t use jacks, so we were anticipating having to store contents of fridge and finding a motel for us and our two dogs. We met Stumpy, owner, at 3:45, he quickly diagnosed the problem, then installed new power controller at a fair price, and we were headed to our previously rented site by 4:45. Wow! Talk about great service by a heckuva nice guy. Couldn’t recommend Tillamook RV Repair and Stumpy more highly!!!

Awesome people!! So down to earth and great at what they do. Our hot water heater in our brand new RV stopped working. We took it there and they knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it 15 mins later, gave us a spare part and didn’t even charge us even when we insisted!! Old fashion customer service. Plugged black RV tank. They were awesome and got us in quickly and fixed the problem. I highly recommend using them.

Best customer service ever. Our trailer had to get 2 brand new axles while we were on a trip. These folks hooked our rig up and let us stay there on site. They dealt with all the warranty stuff and even offered to deliver our RV home 5 hours away. Highly recommended.

I'm quite frankly surprised at the rating. I haven't heard anything good since we used them, and I wish we'd asked around before we went. We bought a '93 RoadTrek and wanted them to go over it to see what work might need to be done. We asked what it would cost to seal the windows on top. We called before we returned to make sure Stumpy was there so we could talk to him about our options. We didn't want to drive the 30 minutes until it was done. We were told it was ready for pickup. We told the ?receptionist/bookkeeper? that we had questions first and that it shouldn't be "done" because we weren't sure what even needed to be done. She said we had to come in to talk to Stumpy. We drove the 30 minutes and arrived half an hour after they said he would be there. He still wasn't in. We waited another 45 minutes before they said he wouldn't be in until the afternoon. We had to waste two more hours in Tillamook waiting for him. Finally, he showed us that he had sealed the windows, done a terrible job of it, and charged us $300. We could have done it ourselves. He did go through all the systems and his assessment seems to be correct. When we went to pay we asked for a repair order so we could see what he had done, with a list of parts and labor. It was a piece of paper with the total at the bottom. Nothing priced or listed. When we complained they told us that was all the information they had and couldn't get any more. A year later the window doesn't leak, but we could have gotten better service, equal quality of work, and a better price somewhere else.

Repair work was a hydraulic leveler replacement and a complicated slideout diagnosis and repair; $2000 repair that took two days. 2013 Winnebago View, Sprinter 3500 platform. We are full-time RVers who were passing through when we broke down. We were stuck without an alternate place to stay, and they allowed us to stay in our RV on-premises over the night we had to leave it at the shop. We had nowhere else to go, so we got to know the shop owners (the lead technician is the owner) and several of his employees. We also watched how they worked on our rather complicated repair. I'm an engineer, so the curiosity was natural.

The owner and his employees are passionate about their work, passionate about doing things right for their customers, and their knowledge of how to troubleshoot and repair a difficult slideout problem showed that they have been doing this for decades. Their charges were fair - even though we watched them spend more time on this repair than the book hours, they still charged us the book rate. I've seen some of the negative comments, and after spending many hours with the owners in the shop, observing their interaction with their other customers, I must say that if you're not getting over-the-top, professional, fair-treatment service from them, then you're the problem.

Thank you so much Stumpy. We were in a accident in Tillamook and Stumpy was able to tow my 5th wheel trailer back to Idaho while my truck was in the shop. He even stop and help me empty the tanks once back home. Thanks again would recommend tillamook rv.

So far this outfit has had everything for my RV that I have looked for. I will use them in the future. Count on it.

We stopped in on our 101 journey because our compartment key broke on our motorhome. He was out of these keys so he GAVE us his extra key for his RV. This was our first trip with the motorhome and couldn't get the hot water to work. He looked at it and discovered a valve that had not been turned on.
He did all this FREE OF CHARGE!

You don't find many places that won't take advantage of travelers, but he treated us like long term customers and we were just passing through.

No wonder they were the only RV repair place that Camp Kiwanda recommended. Thank you so much!

The leaf spring on my trailer broke while on our vacation. I called Stumpy and he put my mind at ease by saying he could fix it If he had the part or he would order it for the next day. Luckily he had the part. In an hour & a half we were on the road again. It was an amazing job at a fair price.

Wow, the website is WILDLY misleading! The woman behind the counter seemed lost with every question I asked. They also DO NOT deal with motorized RVs (motor homes). They also DO NOT deal in any way with motorhome/RV internal generators. And, I was informed that the on site mechanics were not taking on any more customers... whatever that means at a RV repair business (Are they closing down?).
I asked to talk to someone else, and another woman came out with the same responses & more attitude. I asked to speak to a mechanic or someone else, like a manager or owner, and was told no one was there...at 11:00 on a Thirsday. I most definitely would avoid this place, if in need for repairs on your RV travels. It's more a parts store for RV Travel Trailers than anything else. At least that is the impression the only two employees on the site gave me...

The entire team at Tillamook RV was excellent , Jax and Chelsea in the office and Karl and Jimmy in the Shop . They went far above and completed an upgrade on my coach . I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area . I’ve traveled across the country and have had work done in different shops . I found that their level of service and care to the customer second to none .

We recently purchased a park model near Tillamook . On one of our first visits, we experienced an electrical problem. I called Tillamook RV and spoke to Jax about our problem. She listened carefully and was very friendly and efficient. It was near closing time, but she found a technician who was just leaving. He got on the phone with me and was able to walk me through to a solution. On our next visit, we encountered a problem with our furnace. I called Tillamook RV and spoke to Jax again. She said she would see if Stumpy could get by that afternoon. Sure enough, he showed up and was able to get our furnace running, but he cautioned that we would have the problem again because of the way the furnace vent was exposed to the weather. He asked me to call him the next time we came down and he would figure out a way to correct the design problem. A few weeks later we came down again and I called Stumpy. Not only had he figured out a solution, he had already ordered the parts and came by that afternoon and installed his redesign. Our furnace continues to work without a flaw. These folks are friendly, fast and efficient. Who could ask for more?

They were easy to work with, VERY knowledgeable....Stumpy is a natural...he is in full possession of all of any and all things "camper"! Stumpy and Mia came to our rescue this past week when our RV furnace crapped out on a cold damp morning. He drove out to us at the end of his day and fixed it, he could have easily fleeced us by replacing parts but cleaned it up and asked us to call in the payment the next day! Highly recommend this fabulous company. Glad to know there are still honest people out there. Thanks again Stumpy!

My wife and I could not figure out why our new in-line water heater was not working, so we called to have someone come out. Instead, Jax looked up the model #s online, talked to the owner, and sold me the correct part to fix the problem without having to charge us for a service call. Thank you!! You have my business!!

Had a furnace problem this AM and called Tillamook RV Repair trying to decide what to do about it . After I explained the issue I was told to come on in from Rockaway Beach and they would take care of it today, and they did. They had the needed parts on hand. They didn't even try to sell me something I didn't need. Wow!!

I stopped by with what I thought was a roof leak in my motor home. Jay that the counter had Karl look at what I thought was the problem causing the water leak . Karl came back and said no it was the siding joint that was leaking. He ran it in and fixed it right away. In a couple hours I was backing the road. I would highly recommend Tillamook RV.

A couple of snowbirders had a situation where the shore power wasn’t charging the batteries. We found a breaker that wouldnt reset. Hoping this was the cause of our problem we pulled into Tillmook Rv. Mike took all of 15 mins to swap out that bad breaker. That evening when we hooked up shore power, WOW THE JUICE IS BACK! His charge was as great as his service. Thanks Mike.

Stumpy and Chelsea and the whole crew were great to work with. I've had to have many repairs to my motorhome over the last couple months all across the country. Most of the time when I call in they tell me that they can't see me for two weeks or it's somebody else's issue. Not these guys.

They told me to come on in They understand that I'm out of town and they would handle it the best that they could and if they had to order parts or if it was an issue and I was stuck they would let me boondock overnight at their facility.

While I was there with my family, I had my wife and four of my boys with me.... They saw us walking near town and stubby called me an offered me his vehicle to use.

This doesn't appear to be a service that's always offered but he saw me in my family traveling down the street and he provided his vehicle for us.

It's that type of selflessness and taking care of other people that's really important to me. I would trust them with anything.

most repair facilities will take your motorhome or your vehicle behind close curtains and because of insurance purposes they don't let anybody anywhere. not these guys, they let me be a part of the repair process let me be involved let me turn a couple screws and let me help understand how the repair was being done and I learned a lot and I'm very appreciative of that process That's the only way to really learn with these is to get in there and do it and have somebody show you the way.

when you're selecting a repair place or any business for that matter trust is always the issue You want to make sure that they like doing business with you and are going to take really good care of you. These guys go out of their way to make you be a part of the family.

Robin and I just had a marvelous experience at Tillamook RC repair.
The whole staff were so helpful, fit us in as soon as they could. And taught us some tricks too. But stubie"s taste in trucks need some work.lol

Leon the owner of Tillamook RV Repair was very helpful. He showed us what was in need of replacing on our 28 ft. TT after we arrived at out destination. One of the vent covers in the bathroom was destroyed from the sun and wind. He put a temporary cover over it. No rain has gotten in yet. He made a list of parts and ordered them. Really nice guy

Amazing service and friendly business! We called about 30 minutes outside of Tillamook to see if they could squeeze us in we were just passing through on our trip. They not only got us in but got us fixed and back on the road in an hour! Thank you so much

Very nice and helpful people. Owner is a very busy man but still tries to do everything he can for you. Front staff is also very friendly and helpful. We had to have an awning repaired and they did their best to accommodate our travel schedule. Their work was excellent.

If you're looking for an RV repair with honest caring people don't hesitate to call Tillamook RV repair. I stayed at barview Jetty in Garibaldi had some issues with my RV. I called Tillamook RV repair in a gentleman called Stumpy, picked up at first he tried to give me some pointers on how to fix it myself but I'm new at this. I made an appointment told him that I had kids I needed to get my stove going. He came down that same day fixed it and got us going so we could finish our vacation. Was turned away during business hours (with no signage saying it was closed) by quite a grumpy person while in desperate need for a water part for our trailer. We didn't receive a suggestion for a other place to try or a "sorry" for being closed during business hours. I don't know that we will come back again.

The ladies in the sales area are very kind, there is almost always a friendly dog to greet you and I have not yet used the repair portion of the business, but have plans to do that soon.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. I needed to get something to keep moisture out of my car while it is stored, and they squared me away.
