Customer feedback for Happy Gutters is mixed. While many reviews highlight excellent communication, punctuality, and work quality, several customers express frustration with customer service policies that hindered their ability to receive estimates or service. Complaints about the company's refusal to work with insurance claims or to accommodate individual appointments suggest a need for improvement in these areas. However, positive experiences regarding the installation process and the professionalism of the crew are frequently noted, indicating that the quality of work is generally high when the service is accepted.
- Great company to work with and the father-son crew that did the install was awesome!
- From start to finish this company was great at communicating, punctuality, job performance.
- The crew that did the work did an excellent job. They were extremely hard workers.
- Happy Gutters had to replace all of our gutters and some of the downspouts on our entire shop/garage due to the April spring snow storm. Their work performance was outstanding.
- Great communication! The work was quickly completed, the guys were super friendly.
- They refused to meet with just one of us and have now lost my business and referrals.
- Due to new company policies they can no longer service me because they don’t want to go through insurance.
- I thought that was really odd.

Happy Gutters displayed terrible customer service. We need to get new gutters installed, and I have used Ibex roofing before to maintain my roof. I have also referred many people to them. They likely would have been who we hired, but they refused to come and give us a bid unless both my husband and I were at the appointment. My husband works east coast hours and I sell real estate, so I work evenings and weekends. Overlap is not common between us both being home. They refused to meet with just one of us and have now lost my business and referrals. This might be a good time for the company to read Unreasonable Hospitality. I don't remember the statistics on getting a new customer vs. keeping a current one, but they have lost our business moving forward.

I called and made an appointment for them to come out to my house and give me a bud on replacement of a section of gutters and some facia. Told them what was going on that an Amazon driver hit my shop and damaged what I was calling for the to be replaced and that the insurance company needed a quote to proceed. Got it all set up, two hours after the first call, they call me back and say due to new company policies they can no longer service me because they don’t want to go through insurance. I just thought that was really odd. So for anyone needing work that is planning on using an insurance company to pay for service. Don’t waste your time calling this company.

Got my gutters installed last summer and was waiting for rain so forgot to review until now.
I had black gutters and downspouts installed on 4 whole house. They still look new, no leaks at all and they have handled everything mother nature could throw at them this last fall and winter. I got the wider variety without the gutter guards and they've been great with all the pine needles. I've cleaned them out a few times.
Great company to work with and the father son crew that did the install was awesome!
Thanks

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
