I can’t speak highly enough of Hanes on Homes. Chris Hanes is an outstanding professional. He is completely transparent throughout the process, and the value he places on quality cannot be understated. He will get the best possible materials for an extremely fair price, and it was clear to me from the beginning that he places a very high value on the quality he provides. He also showed great integrity throughout the process which I both appreciated and admired. In addition to the quality of his materials, the quality of the work blew me away! Milton and Omar were amazing! No detail seemed to escape their notice. Stains vanished. Faulty trim was repaired. Milton even went out of his way to ensure that the previously mismatched light switches lined up and matched in color! When you’re taking down walls you are always going to discover some issues. Chris and his team made sure I was very clear on any issue that arose and what the fix was and were 100% clear about costs. This included identifying and repairing some very dangerous wiring issues in my 70 year old home! I could go on longer, but I’ll just finish with this: if you have a home renovation project you should go with Hanes on Homes. You will be thrilled with the result!

Chris and his team did a great job remodeling our kitchen. They replaced all the cabinetry, flooring and wall tile and completed all the necessary plumbing and electrical work. Chris was very responsive throughout the whole process and made sure that we were satisfied with the final result. Our kitchen turned out beautifully and it's been a significant upgrade to our home.

Chris Hanes and his employees, Milton and Omar, did a fantastic job planning and completing a small but very important job at my house. The communication was always prompt, clear, and respectful. The work is excellent and a great value.

We had Chris and his team redo our bathroom original to our 1950s home. His team works hard to rip it down to the studs and build it up better than ever. They uncovered a few hiccups along the way including a broken vent/drain pipe and took the time to fix and correct the issue before sealing up the walls. The finished product looks amazing. The tile work is crisp and clean, even as could be. They worked with us to creat the bathroom of our dreams and couldn’t the more pleased. When it was almost said and done they realized an issue with our vanity and mirror lining up and fixed the issue right away at no extra charge. We trust Chris and his team enough to work in our house without us there while on vacation. Came home to a beautiful bathroom and never had to worry. The thing we love most about Chris and his team is how clean they leave the house every day. They take the time to clean up each and every day and when the project is done the area they were working was spotless. Highly recommend.

Beyond Exceptional

Hanes on Homes performed a stunning transformation of an unused room in my house into a magnificent master bathroom! I have a single family home in a residential neighborhood which had only one small bath for a 4 bedroom house. Chris was able to design and build a gorgeous bathroom, with walk in shower, a large vanity and floor to ceiling cabinets off the master bedroom.

During the project, Chris was flexible when I requested design changes, reliable when he said he would be working, precise with instructions, and always available. He demanded the best value in materials and supplies, going out of his way to locate such items.

This room is now my oasis and pride of my home. Absolute magic! I would recommend Chris and Hanes on Homes for any project, knowing that you will get expert craftsmanship, a responsive contractor, and an accurate appraisal for the job.

Hanes on Homes was recommended to us by our friend who is a realtor and knows Chris well. We first used them to repair a rotting window. Shortly after, we decided to have them remodel our outdated kitchen, which included getting all new cabinets, granite countertops, a glass tile backsplash, a new sink, adding a peninsula and removing a few half-walls (knee walls). The finished project is awesome! We LOVE our new kitchen and our more open floor plan! We hired Hanes on Homes to remodel our kitchen and were so satisfied with their work and expertise that we promptly added on multiple projects throughout the rest of our house. We've always been happy with our home, but truly love it now! Hanes on Homes essentially fixed all the problem areas in our home accumulated through age and having kids and pets. We had a vision for a major update to our original 1963 kitchen (meaning, a total gut job and knocking down a wall!), and Chris' team really helped bring it to life. Chris is competent, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to explain the process and answer lots of questions. His employees were talented and friendly, and I felt very comfortable with them being in and out of my home. Where specialization was needed, Chris has longstanding relationships with good folks, whether it's someone for cabinets, countertop, or floor refinishing.

When we were quote-shopping, Chris was in the middle - neither the cheapest nor the most expensive, but we felt that he would do a good job, and he did not disappoint. Some of our upgrades made the cost higher, but we were able to go in with eyes wide open with knowledge of precisely how much our costs were going to increase. He was also sometimes able to offer guidance on more economical ways to bring our vision to reality so we could get the most value for our investment. We would certainly use him again in the future for any needs we have.

Communication and craftsmanship on point. I couldn’t be more pleased with my itty bitty basement bathroom that Chris and his team made come to life.

I moved to the area and needed to redo a lot of the house to include remodeling a bathroom, installing lights, painting and door removal and replacement. The bathroom is beautiful. I’m not a good decorator and Chris had great ideas for the bathroom. Chris and his team did an excellent job. They were on time, neat and clean, and personable. Whenever something has been wrong in the house, I have called Chris and he responded immediately. I highly recommend and would hire him again in a minute for any job I need done.

Chris and his team at Hanes On Homes were a pleasure to work with! We were in the process of gutting our basement (combination of original 1955 panelling and 1980s renovation) when we realized we were in over our heads. I kid you not we reached out to around 20 contractors in the area but Chris’ responsiveness during our project scoping/estimate period couldn’t be matched. He was able to work within our budget and brought some awesome ideas that we hadn’t considered or thought weren’t possible (example: our new wet bar). Throughout the entire process Chris was only a phone call, txt, or email away. He was on-sight each day to give the team instructions and review the work that was happening that day. He also made sure to include myself and my husband in these morning reviews to ensure it was in line with the vision we’d laid out. I’m absolutely blown away by the results - I actually cannot believe this is our basement! It turned out amazing! Hanes on Homes did an amazing kitchen remodel on our very out-of-date 1959 rambler. The results are amazing! We went for a modern look with some mid-century modern touches and it all came together wonderfully.
Chris was very patient and considerate from our first phone call through completion of the project. My wife and I were a little out of our element and he was able to make the process easy and painless. He gave us many options for flooring, countertops, tile, etc within our budget to choose from, so we were able to get the unique look and feel we wanted without spending a bunch of additional money.

Highly recommend Chris! HOH completely re-did our kitchen (cabinets, countertops, tile floor, new appliances, plumbing, electrical). We were sold before he even gave us a quote. Our house is a 1950s rambler with some quirks, which he sized up immediately. Two things stood out – Chris is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and he’s a great communicator. The quality of HOH’s work was excellent; we haven’t had any issues. Never had trouble reaching him by phone, email, or text. Pricing was competitive, and Chris was very clear regarding the more variable costs (still came in under budget). Last but not least, Chris is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, and it was genuinely enjoyable having him at the house all week.

I contacted Chris to remodel my kitchen. After speaking with him over the phone I was very impressed with his knowledge and willingness to answer all of my questions. He came over to my house for the estimate and again he impressed me with his knowledge and how detailed he was. He explained everything in great detailed. After our meeting he sent me a detailed job description with a breakdown for each line item, which made easy for me to understand. At that point I was comfortable moving forward with the contract and hiring him.

When the work started, he was punctual and took time to cover my floors and furniture to protect them from the dust. He also made sure things were cleaned and neat before they left for the day. When an issue came up, he made sure he obtained my approval before moving forward. He was very patient with me and always gave me options on how to do things.

After 4 weeks my kitchen was done, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Chris came under budget and on time, I would hire him again and recommend him to all of my friends.
