We hired Mike as a contractor to do a small job..one thing lead to another - we literally have renovated our entire home. We started off with just changing the bath tub and it turned into renovating 3 bathrooms and 1 half bath, our foyer, our walk way and the patio door. He is a contractor that you don't want to let go. His work is very professional, makes sure that you are a happy customer for good. He has great taste, offers options and is reasonable. He works with you. He is honest, and punctual. His work is detailed and very neat. When I get old, he has promised to come back and convert my formal dining room into a master bedroom so I don't have to climb stairs The team that he has are also exceptionally talented. Since Fall of 2022 Mike and his crew have completed several major projects including laying a cement foundation for a hot tub, running a new plumbing line, and running underground electrical to my 18x30 exterior shed. We called Mike on Fri and explained what we required as soon as possible: (1) change 3 valves to one valve for bathroom tub, (2) change o-rings in the bath tub (both), and (3) put the vanity back and to connect the water/waste within vanity. He requested some photos of current situation (access to plumbing and to view handles etc.). Couple of text messages and a phone call. All within an hour from our initial contact Fri evening….very responsive! He quoted a fix price for his work/labor. Parts were extra (he provided a bill for everything he purchased from Home Depot). We agreed on a price for work/labor and he came over on Sun morning (Father’s Day) as he promised! Started the work around 8am and was completely done around 1pm. He also made a trip to Home Depot in the middle. Payment for labor and parts was made once everything was complete! He did not ask for any money upfront! He brought his own tools and cleaned up afterwards. In summary, our experience was very positive with the services received from Mike. We will not hesitate to contact him for the next job/work! I had two issues i needed to get fixed (1) Kitchen Faucet (2) Toilet Supply line. I texted mike pictures of the problems and he right away provided me a quote and came the next day and fixed both in one hour. Mike is very professional, great at his craft and have good pricing. I will most definitely use Mike again for my future needs

Got a faucet replacement done. Work was done very well. Even though it was rusted underneath, the job was done quickly and cleanly.

FIRST JOB:
Mike was very personable and timely with all repairs. Came out to look at everything and gave a free estimate. Prices were extremely fair and end result satisfied all my needs.

SECOND JOB:
Updating my review from initial 5 stars to 2-2.5. I had Mike complete one job (above) then had him quote another job a few days later. I asked that this be completed as soon as possible due to HOA asks. I sent pictures of project that needed to be completed and received an estimated quote back which was extremely reasonable. I know you cannot guarantee quotes as workloads may change, but upon project completion, total cost was 50% more than quote! Labor hours did not match up to what was provided on website either. I can understand maybe around 20% difference, but 50% more than estimate is way off. Lastly, after final day of work that was being completed, I texted Mike as I took notice an exterior padlock was missing and if he could ask his team to replace or return. No luck - his team disposed of my padlock and did not offer to replace.

I would caution what work you are asking to get done and make sure that you ask as many questions as possible around provided quotes - also make sure to view completed work together and document. Highly recommend quoting other local entities as well before moving forward with work.

Mike's crew remodeled my basement bathroom that another company totally messed up two years ago, and they did an amazing job. I had multiple contractors come out and look at the bathroom and told me that they would have to gut my whole bathroom, knock down walls and then maybe they could do something. I just decided to close the bathroom and forget about it. I so happened to need a second bathroom because I was having family visit and I called HandyMike just to fix the toilet. Mike looked at the toilet and told me that there was nothing wrong with my toilet, which he could have made something up and charged me, like so many other plumbers that I have dealt with in the past but he didn't. I asked him to look at my bathroom and could he do something with it. He said yes, took measurements and quoted me such a reasonable price that I asked him to start the next week before he changed his mind. Mike's crew finished the job today and I could not be happier. The work was professional and high quality. I can't say enough about the service I received. Im so please with the work, I asked him to give me a quote for kitchen cabinets and counter top.

Mike you guys are great. We have been trying to get our pellet stove up and going for months. But each time people always call out or not show up. But you Sent Johnny here and he did a great job on it. And it didn't that him all day to do so. He knew what he was doing and did it correctly. I will be referring you my neighbor's and friends.
