Mike and his team are truly incredible. I never write reviews but had to comment on the top-notch professionalism displayed by his company and his team. Recently my husband and I had a gas leak in our condo and were quoted a VERY high price to get it fixed by a competitor company (who also said we had to remove the cabinets in our kitchen to fix it, jacking the price up an extra thousand or so!). We called Mike and he not only got a team out to assess the leak ASAP but also was able to fix it day of and saved us time/money since he was able to fix the leak without removing the cabinets. We also last minute asked if his team could help us repaint an exterior wall that was peeling - he performed that job same day as well. I plan to use Mike and team for all future construction / repair work and would recommend him to anyone!

Use Mike and team! I’ve worked with Mike since 2020 when we renovated our condo in DC and I couldn’t recommend him enough. Mike takes a different approach to contracting—he treats each home & project as if it were for his own family. He took the time to educate me versus looking for opportunities to charge me more money. I found him talking me out of certain renovations, or finishes and recommending ones that made a lot more sense for the space and timing. No matter the challenge or expertise required, this team had someone ready to come do the job to perfection. It’s as if each person he has is the best in their craft.

The Piazza team did an excellent job with replacing our old wooden deck with composite decking and they also did some electrical work. Mike and his team are very professional and quick without compromising the quality of their work. I will use them again for future jobs.

Our family has had experience with multiple contractors over the 20 years we’ve lived in our home and can tell you that Mike Piazza and his team are extraordinary. They did a complete remodel on a full bath and half bath, including moving a doorway and a toilet, and the results are fantastic. Josh, our foreman, kept everything on track and apparently made problems disappear because we didn’t really have any (thanks, Josh!). Everyone on the team was pleasant and cheerful, and we never felt that we were being “too fussy” or demanding (and I was probably both at least twice ). All the workmanship was excellent, from the construction to the tiling, plumbing and electrical. To top it all off communication was great (where do they find the time?) and the value was excellent. Piazza Construction is now our go-to contractor; we’ve already started getting quotes on our next projects. Seriously. You should definitely include them in your contractor search.

Brought our kitchen out of the 80s! Mike and his team are meticulous and answer all your reno needs from electrical, to painting, cabinet installs, to flooring...and we love it all! Josh was the lead and helped see our project through, seamlessly. Communication was great - we always knew the timeframe of each step. Carried the work into the family room with an accent wall to match the cabinets and was exactly what we wanted. Definitely recommend for your next home remodel!!

Mike completed a home renovation for us on an older home. We wanted to be done in two months and he completed a week early. The house looks beautiful. His team is attentive and thoughtful. Mike is very communicative and provided regular updates on the work. He also advised us on decisions for the type of renovation we wanted - including talking us out of some pricier options we had considered. We highly recommend working with him!

Mike and his crew just replaced all my cabinets and counters in my kitchen and I am sooooo pleased with the result. They were all easy to work with. They were all very professional and friendly. They answered all my questions. Their work, from installation to electrical to plumbling to painting, was top notch. They were particular in making sure everything was done right and they always cleaned up at the end of the day. I would hire Mike again in a heartbeat!

All around great job. We had some painting and tile work done. Mike and team communicated with us all the way through the project. They were polite ,worked around our schedule, on time, the list goes on how they impressed us. We will definitely use them again.

Mike and his team were detail oriented and very professional. He gave us great advice even before we officially hired him. We got work done on our HVAC, plumbing, flooring, three bathrooms and our kitchen including an electrical conversion from gas range to induction. We recently had Mike and his team remodel two bathrooms for us based on recommendations from a friend. Mike is very easy to work with, is flexible, gives good guidance and ideas and is always willing to answer questions (and I asked a lot!). The cost was very reasonable and Mike's team (plumber, electrician and painters) were all great guys and very easy to deal with. And from a clean freak, at the end of the day, Mike and his team always made sure that the entire place was cleaned up. Big plus in my book! Mike and his team replaced our tub and shower in our mater bathroom. They we quick to respond to our needs and wants, and did a beautiful job. They were very professional, and the best value we found for their quality of work. Their precise handiwork and care for their craftsmanship really shows. After completing the this job they had customers for life! Since they we have had them back for other jobs like painting, electrical, and plumbing. We plan to use them for an upcoming kitchen remodel too!

We used Piazza Construction recently to repair a collapsed ceiling and remodel a bathroom at a rental property in February 2025. As always, Mike Piazza was professional and prompt with his estimate and services. He was sensitive to the inconvenience our tenant was experiencing, and scheduled the work to begin within a week. The work was extensive, but completed on-time and within budget within the month. I have included some photos of the remodeled bathroom.

The ceiling collapsed while my wife and I were on a cruise and had limited communication. We texted Mike, he responded quickly, and was at the property within two days to assess damage repair and remodeling costs. We were able to relax for the rest of the cruise knowing Mike and Piazza Construction were taking care of our property.

We have used Piazza Construction multiple times on both our rental and primary properties, and they always provided us the highest quality services. Mike is professional and prompt, provided us with detailed estimates, and delivered on time and within the budget. Mike and team built us an absolutely beautiful screened-in porch. We were novice at this sort of thing and their candid approach to planning was absolutely refreshing. They worked hard, and clearly communicated, all the ways we could maximize value and limit cost. Once we got to the building phase his crews were very knowledgeable and personable. Their craftsmanship was top notch and we ended up with a porch that far exceeded our expectations. At the end of the day, a lot of builders could build a high quality product, but the way they communicated and maximized value set them apart. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended! I called on Piazza Construction many times to make improvements to my home so I could put it on the market. I greatly appreciated Mike's straightforwardness and honesty. He has an eye for detail, things I would have overlooked. Truly a master of his trade. He and his crew were dependable, friendly and trustworthy. His pricing is up-front, transparent, and comprehensive (no "extra" stuff found during the job that requires more money) and the final product is always top-notch!

Buckle up because I’m going to burble a bit about how great these guys are and the amazing experience I had with them.

I was moving (May 2021) and had 2 weeks to have a load-bearing wall/pantry torn down, painting, electrical, and new flooring installed in the new place before move in. Okay, two and a half weeks ;) but during Covidy times when *everyone* was having stuff done... Gads. That’s a big ask.

A friend gave me Mike Piazza’s info and he himself came out, did the estimate, told me all about the options, and started the work himself the very next day. His drywall, electrical, and painting staff spent every day over the next two weeks at the house and the flooring specialist was just laying the last pieces as the moving trucks arrived! Perfect! I’m still a little awed almost two months later.

So it was fast, but was it good, quality work? Absolutely. The walls are square, the paint is perfect, the flooring and trim are gorgeous, and the load-bearing wall/pantry is safe, secure, and wide-open exactly like I wanted. The crew cleaned up every day and were extremely polite and friendly. Mike and his staff asked me what I wanted and gave me choices and updates on the work (with pictures!) every day. I even asked for several changes to stay within my budget. No problem. I feel like this group went above and beyond what I asked for and I couldn’t be more pleased with the work or the entire experience—as brief as it was ;>

It wasn’t cheap, but these are *professionals*—tell them what you want, walk away, and they 100% make it happen. Plus, they stayed within my budget and we’re happy (and creative) in their money and time-saving solutions. This is one industry where you DO get what you pay for. Do it right. Once.

When we accidentally had a fire in our breezeway, they came the next day for a quote and were able to restore the area to better than the original. Insurance covered the costs and they were impressed on how reasonable the rates were.
