Chris Handlin inspected my roof and made some minor repairs after another company had suggested I needed a complete reroof. Chris is honest, knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. He cleaned my gutters while he was up on the roof and relocated a birds nest to a more appropriate place. I highly recommend his company.

We’ve had Handlin Construction work on our home twice now after two massive hailstorms hit Edwardsville, KS, and both experiences were outstanding. The first time, we worked with Chris, the owner, who is not only super friendly and easy to work with but also prior service and a firefighter. It’s clear he has strong ties to the community, which made us feel even more confident in choosing his company. Chris handled everything with our insurance. He got our roof fully covered along with gutters and downspouts, and his crew had everything done in just two days.

The second time, we worked with Braxton, who was equally great. Once again, he handled all the insurance coordination and went above and beyond. This time, we got a new roof, gutters, downspouts, siding, and windows. Braxton was flexible with scheduling to accommodate us completing the siding and windows first.

Chris got me hooked up with an evaluation with Braxton, who came to my house almost immediately. Braxton made everything clear and did not try to sell me into anything. He answered all of my questions and made my wife and I feel good about the process with not only Handlin Construction, but with my insurance agency. I was the first house on my block to get my roof done and Braxton kept up with me via texts or calls frequently just to check in. I didn't pay a dime until the job was completed and my insurance claim was settled.

Chris and his crew did an excellent job when the storms blew through last December, which caused a large branch to fall on my roof, damaging it, ripping off shingles and messing up the guttering. Within a day or 2 of me calling him, he came over and assessed the damage, removed the branch from my roof and made temporary repairs. He worked seemingly effortlessly with my insurance company, and he was able to get me a brand new roof put on, for just the cost of my deductable. I am very happy with how my roof turned out, and I would recommend him to anyone!!

Chris and his crew did an excellent job for us and Chris helped us through the entire process working with all the trades (framing, roofing, stucco & painting) involved in our project. Very good experience! Had a gutter fall off after a storm and they came by the next day to repair. I then had them replace all gutters which they did with great quality and great price.

Chris got the job done in May 2020 for us in getting our insurance to approve a new roof! (After 3 other companies could not). Now in our new house feb 2021, I called him up again! we have attic ventilation issues and he was extremely helpful in how to fix the problem, and provide a reasonable estimate for repairs that need made!! Definitely recommend! Super knowledgeable, professional and timely!
